The author needs to brush up on the portal and ask himself why Hafley was frustrated and irritated because they couldn't bring quality players in. They were getting blindsided by schools who had sponsors with deep pockets who were luring kids away with promises of big bucks. That's not happening at BC, what is happening is a rather small by comparison amount of money is coming in to a collective which shares the money across the wide spectrum of athletes in almost all sports.
BC is not going to be competitive unless it's an accident. Their 7-6 record this year is exactly where they should be. But chances are they're going to be slipping over the next few years.
