Well, someone has to start this. Might as well be me.

It's an even match up in terms of standings.
Both are third place and the Titans are 4-5 and we are 4-4.

We win.
Ho-hum.
Whatever.
"That's nice dear."

We lose.
Yeah, just as I thought.

It really is a toss up to go either way.

Depends on which Rodgers shows up ...
- if its the Colts Rodgers ... The Pack Loses ... if Rodgers decides to come and play ... The Pack wins ...

Anyone notice Rodgers demeanor at the Press conference ? Is stepping up and being a Leader instead of a pouty face too much to ask of him ?

Probably since I can only imagine that losing could be even harder for them since they are the ones playing the game.
Believe it or not, he is after all only human.

I took time off this weekend and will be at the game. While Im excited to go to a game, I'm not expecting a win from the Packers. Before everyone gets bent out of shape, I'd love to see them win, I just wouldn't write it off as a sure thing by any means.

The Titans have a very talented team that shoots itself in the foot allot...much like the Packers. I think it will come down to who shoots themselves in the foot the least, honestly.

Brought this up last year... He's been changed for a while.

He is including himself when he is criticising the attitude etc. so I don't know where you get the feeling, he is trying to blame the rest but not himself. And to me, I find it kind of refreshing that he is speaking his mind instead of the empty words you usually have to listen to at press conferences...

As for the game, I actually think the titans are a better team than the colts. It is gonna be tough and definitely no cakewalk, but as of now, for the packers, even the browns wouldn't be a cakewalk to win against...

Exactly. Rodgers said that everyone on the team, including himself, needs to self reflect after that game. He mentioned that he needs to play better, that he misfired on some throws, that he is just as culpable as the next guy on the lack of the proper energy level that the team needs.

I didn't view his comments at the press conference as "pouty" at all. I viewed them, like you said, as speaking his mind and I took them to be very genuine and from the heart.

Now, this is all going to be meaningless if he and the rest of the team comes out and lays another egg against the Titans this Sunday, but at least he has identified a problem, and I can only assume that he is going to be a big factor in getting the problem resolved.

He seemed pissed. He should be. At himself, at his teammates, at the coaching staff, and the situation as a whole. Now what he chooses to do with that pissed off attitude is totally up to him.

I posted last night that I just want to see this team play mad. With an attitude. Something I haven't seen in a long time.

Yup. That is exactly how I feel about the Packers now.

Good luck and have a good time.
I hope you get your monies worth for a win for the Pack.

While I agree with most of your post....

Rodgers long ball is awful lately, he doesn't even give his receivers a chance to catch the ball (two touchdowns he missed for sure). And if he does, it's Janis... Which is like throwing a football at a brick wall and hoping it sticks. The guy has next to zero ball skills.

My biggest problem isn't with his arm. It's the things that occur off the field, the draft, the preparation for games, the constant "Best week of practice ever", "Need to execute" BS. Yes you need to execute... That's like saying you need to score more points than the other team. Useless.

And I am fine if you say that then do something internal... But its the same **** every year. Beat the crap out of mediocre competition, struggle to do anything with any team with a above average defense.

There is A LOT wrong with this team... Ha-Ha is the worst tackler I have seen with that size in a while. Burnett is always a step late. Matthews is always hurt. Middle linebackers can tackle but below average in coverage. Special teams let downs.

That's just the start... But Rodgers is who he is, he doesn't pump up the team or have speeches. He is a great arm talent, with quite a bit of drive. Be nice if he was a little better leader. But he's not even close to the sole problem. Just not a savior either.

Packers are 9-11 in their last 20 games. And that includes one amazing hail mary pass last year that prevented that stat from being 8-12.

Thank goodness the Packers don't play Cleveland this year. Or, I would honestly be concerned of giving them their only win of the year...

That being said, I think the Packers will win vs. the Titans. It will be close, though. 20-17.

Crazy fact if you're looking for a silver lining right now - If the Vikings lose in Washington on Sunday , and the Packers beat the Titans, the Packers will officially be in first place. (Packers would win a 3 way tie with the Vikings and Lions at 5-4).

I'll say this. While each week brings new challenges it also brings a chance to start over. Although I don't like to use injuries as an excuse for a loss because regardless, We lost fair n square.
I do believe 3 things are necessary for us to win next week 1. Getting at least 2 of these 3 players back..CM3, Starks Or Cook. 2. Playing with a Mike Daniels kinda attitude on Offense.
3. Practicing this week like this the playoffs, because I believe our season is on the line this week.
We can't just go through the motions anymore or we will be embarrassed once again
I'd come out with a 2 min drill every series until we score a TD

It seems to me we're really missing our running game, lacy and Starks really opens things up for us. Ty Montgomery has been doing OK, but they're being careful with his kidneys not trying to run him too hard right now. We should run the spread formation and let Rodgers pick apart the defense, our recievers gotta learn how to extend plays and create separation when Rodgers scrambles out the pocket.. Our defense is really killing us.. Our linebackers can't cover anyone, and our corners and safetys keep getting beat. And I saw some stupid blitzes that didn't work.. Dom capers might be gone at the end of the season.

The Packers have promoted FB Joe Kerridge to the active roster and released safety Jermaine Whitehead. Kind of an odd move.

According to Ryan Wood this is solely a special teams move as Whitehead was responsible for allowing the kickoff return touchdown vs. the Colts.

While there's no doubt the Packers are missing Lacy and Starks the offense struggled with both of them healthy early this season as well though.

The division is still right there for the taking but if they can't go into Tennessee this week and beat a very pedestrian Titan team I think they are done.

We have to at least take 2 out of 3 games on this upcoming road trip.

What if Rodgers decides to show up... But the Colts GB special teams, the Colts GB defense, the Colts McCarthy and the Colts Capers show up?
