Should be interesting to see what it will be.

This is something that I am pretty critical of and hope they don't do something stupid

I like these, with real sleeves, numbers where they're supposed to be, and stripes on the socks. Classic. Would still look great as today's official uniform. I'm not a fan of the throwbacks or alternate uniforms, unless I'd be lucky enough to find a real one from any era.

If they did this ^ then they should be sure that the names aren't on there either.
Yeah. How exactly can they be called "throwbacks" when they make changes to them?

Dint Franklin say it was wine?
I've had that as my signature for a couple of years and you are the first to say anything. So I did some research and you are correct. Apparently it morphed from wine to beer in the 90's. I have lost all respect for old Ben now.

I have updated my signature.

Ran across a quote earlier this year but can't find it now. Stated teams need to live with their 3rd (alternate) uniforms for four years before they can change it. Powerball jerseys came out in 2010 IIRC. Time for a new merchandi$ing campaign.

As most of our old players end up in it, why not make the throwback Purple ??

Technically they are not "throwbacks" but alternate uniforms. They started as throwbacks in honor of the NFLs 75th anniversary. (wiki it if you must) Now they can be anything that fits the rules. That said, purple is fine as well as blaze orange. Should do that for the home December games to match the fans predominant color.

Wiki it ? and doubt the word of a fellow moderator ?? NEVER ! Won`t the predominant color in December be blue ? or deathly grey ?

Been thinking, hopefully the Packers try a new alternative this year. Some teams do better when they do a change up, and well the Packers announced doing a throwback and they won a Super Bowl that year. Its the offseason and this is one of the hopefully new things that will happen for GB.
