I found this tweet today on NFL.com
Interesting.
I like these, with real sleeves, numbers where they're supposed to be, and stripes on the socks. Classic. Would still look great as today's official uniform. I'm not a fan of the throwbacks or alternate uniforms, unless I'd be lucky enough to find a real one from any era.

And one thing I liked on Sunday were that the helmets were yellow instead of brown.
I've had that as my signature for a couple of years and you are the first to say anything. So I did some research and you are correct. Apparently it morphed from wine to beer in the 90's. I have lost all respect for old Ben now.RCC
Dint Franklin say it was wine?
If they did this ^ then they should be sure that the names aren't on there either.
Yeah. How exactly can they be called "throwbacks" when they make changes to them?
Yellow is my favorite color and it has nothing to do with the Packers.Dont like the milk duds?
ESPN reporter Dan Graziano on Mondaywrote on Twitter that NFL owners are considering a proposal to have Nike design alternate uniforms that would be worn for Thursday night games.
Technically they are not "throwbacks" but alternate uniforms. They started as throwbacks in honor of the NFLs 75th anniversary. (wiki it if you must) Now they can be anything that fits the rules. That said, purple is fine as well as blaze orange. Should do that for the home December games to match the fans predominant color. As most of our old players end up in it, why not make the throwback Purple ??

Too much yellow for me.....I don't even mind the blue throwbacks, but, as you point out, they should be accurate throwbacks (except for the leather helmets)http://packersuniforms.blogspot.com/p/uniform-timeline.html
