Damn between Rodgers chokejobs and the salary cap issues we're gonna have I'm gonna be dead before this team wins another championship
The NFL can still use Rodgers for TV ratings at Prime Time and 3 PM time slots

Pat is stressing how his "sources" continue to stress to him that it is about the team and the friends such a friendly deal will allow...

I think this means for sure Cobb is going to sit down and restructure/cut his deal, Crosby will do similar I bet, Big Dog will be here and don't be shocked if a guy like Mercilus signs back and few others.

There’s zero question in my mind that Rodgers purposely stuck it to the Packers.
They keep using Mahomes $45m In comparison, yet his contract extrapolated through 2029 (best case) would be the equivalent of a $35-40mil annual if it went through 2025. This new deal is easily a $10mil jump per season more than any other player in history. The guaranteed will insure he’s here 3 seasons minimum.

One thing Gute n Ball are not afraid to do is shop. I thought my Wife was bad!

Congrats to all you guys who worship #12. He’d better get us a SB or I hold YOU all an accomplice to Fiscal Capital Murder! (Sorry it was T’d up for me there all month long!)

In all those years with Ted Thompson the Packers never seemed to find the money to get players and still pay out. I know they tied up a lot of money in Clay Matthews and Jordy Nelson but I never recall all kinds of cap games then. Now that does not mean the results are any different. We still only have one SB appearance and win since 1996. But it just seemed that we were same old same old for so long. Now every year is an adventure.

I would love to see that Rappaport got punked. AR could have orchestrated this just to make a couple media types look like idiots. God, would that be funny.

Now let's sign Amani and Rufolf then draft some studs to shore up the D# and let's win 2 SBs back to back regardless if we end up playing KC or Buffolo and roll over the fkn 49ners on the way there.

I can't find the optimistic button for this post! LOL

Pat is sure spending a lot of time railing on people posting that a deal is done, before its done. He seems to know something about the deal or he really wouldn't be saying some of the things he is saying about Rodgers being called out for being selfish for taking that kind of money.

Now let's sign Amani and Rufolf
Who are those guys?

I don't believe Gute will want to move him, but honestly if you can get a team to give you a 4th or 3rd conditional to increase for Jordan Love I think you need to take it. It is a weak QB class this draft and the perfect year to trade him if we ever are going to.

Well Rodgers does claim to own them … maybe he can just buy the team from the McCaskeys… with his new reported wealth lol.
Watch out! The Bears hired another Lovie. Their goal is to beat the Packers. Would not care less about a SB.

My thoughts with Love. In the event of a Rodgers injury, he isn't going to take over the job and win a lot of games for the Packers, but who else would for what he costs us? So you stick with him, use him as your #2 and hope he develops enough to either be good trade bait or just another guy you keep around as your backup. He knows the playbook and the players, as well as the fact that he may still have a lot of room for improvement. If you trade him for a 3rd or 4th, what have you gained? You still need to replace him and if he walks away in 2 years in Free Agency, you may get a late round compensatory for him.

I always prefer a vet QB as a backup with a championship caliber team, but at this point, they are all in with Rodgers and his health and play will determine how far they get.

Tell him to buy Indi.

Rebrand them the Indianapolis Immunizers

Detroit would be cheap. He’d officially be a Detroit Lyin’

Just having fun. Glad we get some worthy entertainment before we do our prison time

Wilson to the Broncos

The haul of picks Denver most likely would have sent for Rodgers, now going to Seattle. I predict Seattle could fit Pickett possibly...will be interesting to see how Seattle reloads.
