Not what I was hoping for but...GoPackGo
Whatever Rodgers new contract ends up being, I hope that it has a cease-and-desist clause in it. Stop holding the team hostage. Stop sending out cryptic tweets. Just stop. You are a well-paid monkey. Turn the grinder.
However, I know all of it will get worse.
The only cease and desist that should be in the contract is for Gutey to stop messing around with QBs. Every decision he’s tried to make at that position has been a massive failure.Whatever Rodgers new contract ends up being, I hope that it has a cease-and-desist clause in it. He like Kizer. He was super duper garbo. He was going to take Lock in the 2nd round until the Broncos took him. He was garbo. He traded up for Love. He is the holy trinity of garbo. He thought Rodgers was done instead of looking inward and realizing the cast around Rodgers was actually the problem.
This guy is a blind to QB talent.
if a team wasn’t willing to spend a first on him in his draft they certainly aren’t going to now. He’s not even worth a day 2 pick. He’s been bad in preseason and now the regular season and any team trading for him would have lost 2 years of his rookie deal. You get a 4th round pick at best for Love if it’s maybe the Jets or another poorly run team.Of course GB hangs onto Jordan Love... he's only 23 years old, will be in the QB room with AR & Clements, and will have another year to mature & learn. If/when he shows progress think about trading him next year for a 1st or 2nd rounder. No harm in giving him ample PT in training camp, showcasing him, and having him available in case of an AR injury.
It’s another QB Gute wanted. All the reports before Kizers draft of the Packers being interested in Kizer. The reports were all but corroborated when we traded for him. That was Gutes guy. Every decision he has tried to make or has made at QB has been a complete and utter failure. Are you seriously judging Gute on a dump trade for a previous high pick to a ****** team that didn't pan out? Kizer cost us literally nothing but a guy we were cutting....
The book on Love has not been completed.Every decision he has tried to make or has made at QB has been a complete and utter failure.
I would “love” for someone to argue that with me.
Is that because no one wants to start it?The book on Love has not been completed.
Re-signing Rodgers was a complete and utter failure too? It’s another QB Gute wanted. All the reports before Kizers draft of the Packers being interested in Kizer. LOL no one is saying Love is not a failure - never met anyone that has said that. I would be in the camp of saying there is zero way of knowing what he is and with Rodgers staying I personally don't think we will ever know how Love would have worked out in the MLF system in Green Bay as I expect without a serious injury befalling Rodgers, Love is ever the actual QB1 in Green Bay for an ample amount of time to see what he is in our system. It’s another QB Gute wanted. No its because the team chose to keep arguably the most skilled and efficient QBs in NFL history in town rather than not in town, something that had viable legs to happening two years now.Is that because no one wants to start it?
Which is why from now on I will record PO games, find out the result and only watch if we win.I STILLL am not going to be tricked into thinking we will make it to the SB. Not a third year in a row! Won't do it. I'd rather be pleasantly surprised.
Jordan Love is same age (within 6 months) of a handful of QB top prospects in this upcoming draft and is younger than Pickett! He's already got 2 yrs of NFL coaching & experience vs. their zero years. His story is still in chapter one, let's see his trade value next March before calling this 23 year old late 1st round pick a bust.Is that because no one wants to start it?

Does this mean we won't have to go through the, "Will he or won't he," drama like we did last year?
