People said Antonio Brown wasnt credible either and he was a key piece to the Buccs winning the SB. Good players win championships.

Does he know the Packs' cap situation right now? Perhaps Lions would take him?

Edit didn't see tweet. What if Packers do get him on a restructured deal after he clears waivers today? You guys going to jump ship? Could cause hard feelings to Adams? This will be interesting if Packs took interest in him. HAHAHA

I would take him for the remainder of this season. I would not want him long term. I think he is controllable for half a season and I do think it would help win the Super Bowl.

OJB doesn't really stretch the field and is more in the mold of Adams. Since the Packers already have Adams, I don't see how obtaining OJB changes much? He isn't that much better than Cobb as a number 2. Since he can't play TE which the Packers sorely miss in not having Tonyan, I would pass on him right now.

This is just not true. OBJ can still get behind a defense. He has a sick release, really good route running, and a terrific ability to high point/adjust and win jump balls.

The same people complaining about him being a distraction sound like the same people saying they didnt want Randy Moss, Marshawn Lynch, or Antonio Brown. Spoiler alert: All those people looked like fools.

OBJ cleared waivers. He can be signed for $538K. If he wants to win with the Packers that's about all they could afford. If he would sign on the cheap for that I say go for it. He knows he can cash in next season.

If he wants to sign cheap, yes I’d look for a half season. I think that could work pretty well

No I don’t want a bigger contract or multi year.

I would be all over this if I were the Packers.

I understand this feeling and I sort of agree with it. IMO OBJ would become the second most talented WR on the team.

I also understand the reluctance by many fans to bring him in because they feel he will simply cry about not being the #1 guy and cause a distraction.

If he truly wants to come here he must know that he will not be the #1 option. If he is willing to accept that then I say yes bring him in.

Talent wise I think its a no brainer. Attitude wise it brings up questions. Questions like what do I do with him on my fantasy team.

If he comes here and thinks he is the #1 option, then he is delusional.

Good opportunity for Gute to get Aaron involved. "Ok Aaron, you want him? If you do.. who you want to cut because someone needs to go." Time to put those big boy pants on and tell us who to get rid of.

You act like its a hard decision. We have 5 LBs. Pick between Summers and McDuffie. Cut Ladarius Hamilton. Dennis Kelly has been useless and with Jenkins and Njiman do we really need him? If its a WR that needs to go so bad EQ is on the active roster.

This is not hard.

Guys do not overthink this.

OBJ clearly know it would be a half year rental. He is well aware of the cap situation and that Adams is here. He doesnt need to be a #1. All he needs is a QB who can throw accurate passes so OBJ can showcase to the league he deserves a valuable deal come FA. A deep playoff run means more games to display his talent. He would be playing with the best in the game and wouldnt be taking defenses double teams because of Adams and he also doesnt have to worry about the team having anyone else cutting into him being the #2 target because as we know, are WRs are kind of bad outside of Adams.

OBJ to me is a supremely talented WR with poor ethic and mental fortitude. I'd buy that for a half season because winning and the time frame would be in my favor. I think it's easy for those guys to do half year or less, he'll be juiced to prove himself in a new place and we're winning. It will be easier for him and I think he'd actually play a decent role from here on out.

I would not bet on him for the long haul or another season or for big money. It would be, you want to win? come with us and cash in elsewhere. are you in? yes great, no, we're ok anyway.

I wanted Moss, Lynch...but not Brown. There is a reason why THE BROWNS let him go mid season.
