Now that we are out, who'd you rather win this SB?

Jaguars vs Steelers. Best Defense vs Best Offense. Big Ben couldn't possibly play worse than he did in their regular season match-up. This game would be like the movie Looper (highly underrated), with two teams battling each other. Similar in all phases of the game, except one team is older/experienced and the other is upcoming/hungry. Big Ben even looks like an older Bortles. I respect the Steelers tradition and culture. I respect what Jacksonville is building. Very much tired of seeing the Patriots and everything that comes with them......everything!!!
A first ever AFC-AFC Super Bowl match-up would be pretty cool!

People love to say Ben Roethlisberger could not be worse because all they think about is interceptions. But guess what?

Antonio Brown managed to get 157 yards against Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye. They need to step up a notch in a potential rematch.

In 2014, most analysts compared Blake Bortles to Roethlisberger because of his size (6-5, 232), mobility, and something else. It has not worked out that way, of course, but Bortles finally has turned a corner and learned how to win.

LOL. Didn't have my coffee yet. AFC Championship game: Steelers vs Jaguars. NFC Championship game: Rams vs Vikings. SB Bowl: Jaguars vs Rams. SB Winner: Rams

Vikings defense destroys the patriots offense. Blow out style.

GO NORTH!!!

That would be my worst possible match up because someone would have to win and I would have to cheer for the Patriots. I doubt I would even watch because I would hate the possibility of the vikings winning. Although the thought of them losing a 5th would be...nope, not even going to say it, I don't even want them having a chance to win it. Although losing a 5th would be pretty sweet. Nope, nope, don't want to even chance it. vikings lose in the second round (I will grant them the bye) . There now I feel better.

I was thinking today maybe I wouldn't mind the Saints winning the Super Bowl. But then I thought that would give Drew Brees two Super Bowl wins to Rodgers' one. I don't think there are any good options here.

Speaking of Jacksonville, I can't believe San Francisco hung 44 points on them today. The 49ers are 4-0 with Garoppolo. That's all we need. The NFC is stacked enough without the 49ers becoming contenders.

It was not all Jimmy Garoppolo. Blake Bortles threw three interceptions and one was a pick 6. The fumble recovery TD that wasn't did result in a turnover that led to one for the offense.

I don't have a favorite. I think it will be the Saints and then Brees will retire. I do not want to see the Patriots take it. I don't care for cheaters and Belichick is an inveterate cheater. It's beneath contempt that he's in the conversation with Lombardi as the best of all time. Coach Lombardi was a man of honor and a true philosopher king coach. Belichick knows how to tape opposing team's signals to gain an advantage. He soils the image of the NFL. Yes, I mean that.

I'm still very much disappointed in our current team and season that I can't think about the SB right now.
I just don't feel the interest.

My main complaint with Pittsburgh winning is that they already lead all Super Bowl winners with six. Another would give them seven, putting them that much further ahead.

Right now the Vikings are the #1 seed in the NFC. Who would have thought this would happen the same year Minnesota hosts the Super Bowl?
You have to think that they wouldn't have won the division if Rodgers hadn't gotten hurt, but who can say for sure?

This^

DO NOT want to see the ******* Squealers win ANOTHER SB! Can't stand that franchise. Same with the Gaytriots.

I'm pulling for whoever comes out of the NFC (except Minn) unless the Jaguars pull some miracle out of their *** and beat NE and Pitt.

I'd want Philly, Saints, Falcons, Rams or Panthers to win it all.

I consider myself an honest man.
So when others are caught cheating or lying, I have a prejudice or grudge against that.
Since the Cheatriots were caught, I can't help but think that they still are cheating.
That may be wrong, but it's something that really pushes my buttons and that knee jerk reaction comes up every time.
Fans will give them a break and make up excuses. Or they can show me the claims they didn't cheat.
It's really hard for me to agree with their justifications when I am not a fan.
I honestly don't know if they still cheat. Maybe they do. But I do know that I really hate them.

The season was very disappointing. I'm still interested, but it's discouraging because it seems like we need a lot of things to go right from here on, if we're going to get back to winning the Super Bowl anytime soon.

I used to always at least try to root for the NFC team, because I remember the old NFL/AFL rivalry.
The problem is, over the years there have been so many different teams that have stood in our way, I'm starting to hold a grudge against some of them. I've always hated Dallas, we had the 4th and 26 thing with the Eagles, the collapse with the Seahawks, couldn't get past the 49ers for awhile there, the Falcons have been destroying us lately, the Panthers have handed us some key losses, etc.

My dad used to say that you should root for the team that eliminated you, that way you can say that it took the best team to beat you. And that's been true with the Packers for some recent years. Problem is, I usually resent the team that eliminates us, so I can't root for them lol.

I have no real cares about who gets in the Super Bowl if the Packers aren't in the running.
If it's the Vikings that play in it against who cares, good for them but I will be definitely rooting for the Vikings to lose in their home dome.
I probably won't tune into the Super Bowl anyway.

I don't "resent" the team that beat us. Fourth and 26 was one play and not even the score on that drive. It was our former return specialist's fault that we lost to Seattlel in the playoffs. Why do you hate Andy Dalton? I hate the Bengals, but not him.

Unless their opponent is the Patriots or Ravens (because the Cowboys are out), I will not root for any team that knocked us out of the playoffs. My logic is I don't want the team that prevented us from making the postseason to be in it. So I probably will root for the AFC team on February 4, 2018.

Yeah, I would say pretty much the whole team, including the coach, all had a hand in that loss. It was a perfect storm of sorts. But they did release the guy who bungled the onside kick, and they fired the special teams coach, so I guess they were the scapegoats.

My point is our inability to win in Seattle is not a good reason to resent the Sehawks, who are even worse in Green Bay.
There's nothing logical about being resentful, it's an emotional reaction. Ultimately it's just a bunch of athletes all trying to make a living. But Seattle has that annoying swagger similar to the old Cowboys, which makes them easy to dislike. Seattle has also been caught cheating several times, so they share that with the Patriots. Finally, they have that extremely loud stadium, which makes it annoying to play there.

Anyone but the Vikings. I'd rather see Tom Brady win another one over The Vikings.

Another reason I don't want to see the Steelers win is that would give Ben Roethlisberger three Super Bowl rings. Nothing against Roethlisberger, but it woudn't seem right for him to have three rings while Rodgers only has one. In fact, it doesn't seem right that he has two while Rodgers has one.

Eliminating all other QB's from the picture, it doesn't seem right that Rodgers (even Favre) only has 1 Lombardi. It's sickening.
