We bullied Seattle as well. But, I am worried we can't out score you.

I think you guys have an overall better team. But I thought same about Dallas.

Sometimes the ball just bounces the right way.

Dallas had a pretty easy schedule and hadn't really gone through a battle in well over a month. They are also a control the tempo type team and they fell behind WAY early which is exactly how to beat them. I personally thought Green Bay was going to win that game. This matchup now is interesting...the Falcons are the better overall team. Faster defense, star pass rusher, and an offense LOADED with weapons. But the Packers are about as hot as it gets and have a ton of emotion coming into this game. They have moxie. It will take a lot of heart for Green Bay to beat us. But, I believe they've got a shot. Rodgers is playing out of his mind

I don't think the falcons are the better overall team. I don't know who this star pass rusher you are talking about is, but we have a Julius Peppers, Clay Mathews, and Nick Perry. Heard of any of those guys? We have arguably the best pass blocking Oline in the league. Nelson, Cobb, Adams, Cook, and Montgomery at skill positions... I'd take these guys over any offense in the league...
This moxy is called confidence. From Rodgers already winning MVPs and a superbowl. playoffs every year. a QB/HC/DC who have been together almost a decade... That's experience and confidence...

Only reason Atlanta beat us the first time, and GB wasn't pushing for the #1 seed is because we lost our #1,2,3 CB. Both of our only 2 RBs on the roster. Cook,Cobb, Montgomery was out that game, and time period of the 4 game losing streak...

You come on here with your chest all pumped out... Im not impressed. And I do not concede.

This star pass rusher I speak of is Vic Beasley. 1st team all pro NFL sack leader. And the Falcons beat the Packers because they were the better team that day. They had injuries that day just like your team did. No Tevin Coleman is pretty crucial.

Your secondary is not going to stop atlanta's weapons. I am very aware of who Peppers, Matthews, and Perry are. They aren't lighting up quarterbacks. If they were, the Packers wouldn't have the 31st ranked pass defense.

I'm not coming here "with my chest pumped out." I'm coming in here to talk football. That cool with you?

That would be Vic Beasley who let the NFL with 15.5 sacks.
Beasley 15.5 sacks and 39 total tackles on the season for Beasley

Nick Perry had 11 sacks, injured with a club on his arm the last month+. He also had 52 tackles...And if you look on the depth chart he doesn't start and is considered by many as our 3rd best OLB...

@longtimefan thanks for reinstatig me. I will apologize for the call out on our MB's. I truly just wanna talk football with y'all. It's fair to say both sides are going to be biased and confident their team will win. I have had a lot of good dialogue over here today and hope to continue that throughout the week.

Thanks again
And shout out to @Jd dirtybird21 for helpin me out!

Beasley is a pass rush specialist. Why is only having 39 tackles bad? Dude led the league in sacks in his 2nd yr. offenses Have to slide protection to his side which helps our entire line get favorable match ups. Beasley has had 14.5 sacks since week 5... I'd say that's pretty impressive..

Also Beasley plays majority of his snaps on passing downs and is rarely in on 1st down when we send in our base package. I'll pull his snap counts to show you

You just heard me say we lost our top 3 CBs for the 4 game losing streak. Randall our 2nd year starter has dealt with a groin injury, Sprained shoulder and knee. Rollins missed time twice this season. Thes guys were a make shift group all year right up til the winning streak started. then last week when Rollins couldn't go, and Burnett got hurt... But Burnett, and rollins will be there next week. Our tweeners have spent a lot of time at CB, and are playing better. Hyde, Burnett, Haha have been playing very good during this winning streak. Against Dallas you subtract Burnett, No rollins, and Randall had another foot injury mid week. To say he looked off would be an under statement...

But everyone will be dressed and ready for Altanta next week... If everyone was available all year we wouldn't be ranked no 31st in league.

You come here saying your team is better like its common knowledge. Then act like you weren't all puffed up? This is the greenbay packers buddy. not the Bucs...

Vic plays 60% of defensive snaps. So 2nd/3rd down generally.. (671 plays)

Atlanta rotates every single Dline player throughout the game to keep them fresh.. even our back up center plays DT in some packages..

Compare that to nick perry who 58% of the snaps.. (603 plays)

I will take the 4.5 extra sacks over the 19 tackles..

We can play the injury game to as to why our D is ranked poorly.
We lost a veteran starting LB in spoon

Our #1 corner in Trufant who was replaced by Collins who had not played the first 8 weeks of the season

Lost our starting DT Shelby week 5

we also start a UDFA rookie at nickle to go along with a rookie SS and 2 rookie LBs..

Common sense says that those players were still learning the system when we played you week 8..

The Falcons ARE better. I don't need to be "puffed up" about that. Rodgers is the better quarterback but his supporting cast is not only more injured but not as good. I said the Packers have a shot. But reality is, their defense will not stop Atlanta's offense. This game will be about how many points can Rodgers and Co. put up. And yes, I'm aware this is the Packers...but history has NOTHING to do with this game. You are coming in, on the road, against the 8th best offense in NFL history, with the 31st ranked pass defense. Good luck.

Nick Perry, 11 sacks. Tied for 4th

Missed 2 full games and most of a 3rd?

This is just a statement.. Not dismissing any other player..

Just pointing out his stats

Well you give Perry another 68 snaps, and all of a sudden we are talking 3.5 sacks and proportionately another 6 tackles added to the 52... so 25 more tackles :)

I agree Atlanta is better team and SHOULD win..

But funny thing?

Everyone said same about Giants, NYPD, Odell, Cruz Sheppard. ELI.

Dallas, we can't stop them. We got BLOWN out in October..

If Morgan didn't get hurt I don't think dallas scores as much in 2nd half.

2 games in a row we heard how we can't win.

Just food for thought.

I looked for the missed time, and didn't see it. I missed it:)...

But yea... This makes Perry dang near par on sacks per rush. Plus you figure in the club hand, and the added tackles...

True possibility is there for it. The light didn't click for Vic till week 5. Had it happened game 1 who knows. He was held starless a few times the first 4 games. Not saying perry isn't a great player or game changer I just prefer Vic for the same reasons you prefer perry..

2 games he missed and I think he missed time in the game when he broke it

Huge batted ball last night on 3rd with under 40 secs that stopped Dallas from getting a 1st

I think he had another? In a different game

I disagree with this. I think both games the packers have played had a 50-50 feel to them. They were considered coin flip games. This one is no different. The packers have been respected in the playoffs thus far

True but we are not the media darlings that NYG/Dal were. If anybody is right now it's the packers. NFL.com is comparing Rodgers to Jordan right now lol. We're 2 small market teams but you guys have the history and success... we have the failure to put it bluntly. I don't think anyone is doubting the packers or Falcons at this point. Nobody knows what to expect when it comes these defenses..

You feel that way, is not my point

What I am telling you is that experts and others gave us no chance.
