We could still play with some of these teams if we had a healthy offensive line, healthy running backs, healthy defensive backs ect. Depth at these positions are what's hurting us.

THIS IS NOT A FIRE MM OP/POLL, IT'S A SIMPLE POLL OF THE BOARDS OPINIONS!

For 1.5 years now there has been increasing frustration of how Mike coaches, and calls plays, and now with the media floating the Hot Seat, my question is, what is your opinion of him?
He has lost control of the team. They're playing with no drive or fire. Lack of concentration and leadership.
Thompson has done nothing to help their injury status, no attempt to bring in help, other than practice squad players that are not starters by any means.
If changes are not made soon, the season is over.

The season is over. Why would the Packers change their stripes now? They haven't played four quarters since the middle of the 2014 season. Since then it's been spurts of good play sandwiched between hapless apathetic softness.

"You have a game plan each and every week,” McCarthy said. “The way the game goes dictates the way it goes. So we went to probably, I’d say, second quarter, more exclusive the no-huddle. We don’t want to play that way.”

So basically Mike plans to continue to do what hasn't worked, and doesn't want to play the way that has worked.

I don't think the fact AR coming off as arrogant, smug and pretentious is helping the team either. He just doesn't strike me as a likeable person or leader for that matter.

Just coming from someone on the outside looking in ... Could be way off.

In a way I agree he needs to be bearing more of the burden because he's not playing well. On his putrid int he blamed the receivers route which may or may not be true. But the fact is HE threw that ball to an area where there was no one but a defender so he needs to eat that.

While injuries are definitely affecting us, to me that also falls on coaching to an extent. We've been plagued by injuries every year including the SB year. To me that says the coaches don't have appropriate personel in place as far as doctors and trainers to help prevent injuries.

I don't think they want to get rid of MM. If he has lost the team how can he get them back?

1. Go get a legitimate offensive coordinator from the OUTSIDE and let them do their thing.
2. Make 12 submit. I think his ego may very well be the root of this dissention and MM has to take control back from him. If he has to verbally undress him in front of everyone then so be it. He has to do something.
3. Demand that TT start addressing current needs.
4. Figure out what the hell you want to do on offense and do it. Its like he is trying to run every possible style of offense at any given time and it just makes them average or below average at everything. Figure out what you do well and do it .

I like McCarthy but his star is fading. For the benefit of us and his coaching career, we need to separate at the end of the season. He'll be rembered fondly by me, but sentiment shouldn't come into, we need change.

No point gassing the Server ( MM) if the chef ( TT) doesn't go with him. Both are at fault here. I want both out someway. I want Wolf or Schneider ( Has a clause he can walk away from Seattle job if Packers GM spot opens) as head honcho. As head coach I'd like: Cowher, Gruden, Holmgren, Favre in.

You can do all of that, tomorrow and if your defense can't stop a ****ing nosebleed, you're still not winning. What was it? 4 touchdowns in the first freaking quarter?

That clause no longer exists after Schneider signed his new contract with the Seahawks this past July. With his new contract, Schneider won't be going anywhere for at least six more seasons.

TT's most likely replacement at this point is Eliot Wolf.

This in particular bothers me. If you're getting rhythm going, use the no-huddle because it tires defenses out and they're going to get messed up trying to figure out who covers who. Sounds to me like MM's trying to evolve the offense into something it's not supposed to be.

I think he hates the no huddle because years ago they would use it...get up huge and then the D would be on the field so much that they would bend and break and blow up. He wants to control the clock and limit the # of plays the other team has. He might have to worry about winning games before worrying about how they look winning games.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't McCarthy and Tomlin, be the two longest tenured head coaches after Belicheck? any coincidence that both the Packers and the Steelers are struggling Mightily?

I think everyone is getting excited over nothing. I don't see TT or MM going anywhere. Capers is another story. Without a major turnaround from here on out, it's going to be tough to justify him. I think he's a great coach on one level, but i've seen some of the worst defensive performances every in the past couple years and that can't keep happening. and it's always the same stuff. maybe it's not capers? maybe it's position coaches, but without a major reversal of the past couple weeks you can't tell me he's earning a job.

It's also no coincidence they are among the most successful coaches in that time period as well.

While you're most likely right about Thompson I'm pretty sure McCarthy and the entire coaching staff are on the hot seat.

Marvin Lewis is currently the second longest tenured head coach in the league having been hired in 2003. MM is tied with Sean Payton for third.

And they are no longer getting the job done. My point about coaching tenure is that it seems like the longer you are with one club and you get more diminishing returns.

Looking outside of just one game, this offense has been far worse than the defense for about the last 16-18 games. Seriously, outside of a few pure luck hail marys, this offense has looked atrocious with one of the best QBs in the game. There is no excuse for that and the best part is that the coach has shown absolutely no indication of doing anything differently. Just the same old thing, over and over and over and over and over and over.........

This is not to excuse Capers. A new head coach needs to be brought in and that will include a new coaching staff.

Oh and by the way neither one of them have been successful since their last Super Bowl appearance. Their job is to win the Super Bowl. If you're not even getting there you're not successful. I know we live in a world where first and second and third and fourth and fifth and sixth and seventh and eighth and ninth and 10th and 11th and 12th Place all get participation trophies and told how awesome and special you are but you're not unless you're in first place, period end of story.

If the Packers finish the season at 5-11, I see everyone getting fired. In looking at the schedule ahead, I really only see the Packers being favored to win 1 of those games....@ Chicago. With Cutler back, that even could be a dog fight for us. While I don't expect it (5-11) to happen, if what we saw on the field yesterday and for a good part of this season continues, it sure isn't out of the question.
