Rodgers made MM look good just like Favre made Holmgren look good.

MM is so determined to have a running game he doesn't know when to give it up when it's not working. Do you ever notice on a successful running play he almost always follows it with the same play ? Let Rodgers throw the ball and when defenses expect a pass......run a draw play.

I think MM is a decent coach however, I think the messaging has gotten stale. I'm not sure him and TT are on the same page nor do I think him and AR are on the same page.

Nothing will change this year though unless they just completely implode.

They could just take a survey to just get opinions on things and the outcome would not have a direct influence of any changes.

As one of the owners I'm absolutely fine with the board of directors making decisions without asking about my opinion.

This was tough for me to answer. I went with negative because I don't like the way he sticks with his coaching staff. I think there could have been some real improvement on the O line play, with the DBs, special teams, receivers running routes and the pass rush (including with blitzes where so often they are running into each other). And some of his quirks...like time management and going to our weakness right off the bat by giving up the ball when we win the coin flip.

The offensive line has been one of the only bright spots this season. I'm in favor of deferring when winning the coin toss to start the game.

I'm on board with a lot of this, but I actually like deferring to the second half on the coin flip. However, I do think we should expect a decent kickoff coverage on EVER kickoff.

Is that too much to be idle ?

The Packers have a lot of core players set to become free agents next offseason therefore it's smart having some cap soace to roll over into 2017. In addition there aren't a lot of impact players out there spending money on would make sense.

I voted negative for the pure fact I do not believe his heart is in it. His body language and facial expressions look like a person that is burned out at his job right not now,and I think it has permeated to the team.He just doesn't seem to have the passion he had before on the sidelines. I think with the loss in the NFCCG and his brother passing less than 48 hours later had a toll on the man,it would any of us if we are human. But there comes a time when we have to know we are cheating ourselves and the others around us by not giving our all,and I think MM needs to concede that as well. Not saying he wouldn't do well somewhere else, but I think ship has sailed on MM's best days in Green Bay Wisconsin

...or he's genuinely frustrated with the way the players are responded and playing. The word dejected comes to mind.

I'm starting to think much the same thing. It's obvious this team just doesn't seem to have a chip on its shoulders anymore like they always seemed to do in the past. I guess the example that comes to mind is that NYJ game in 2014 where they were getting shredded and down 21-3 but then fought back and came back to win like the team we'd expect to do. Put that same kind of start on the field against this team this year and I don't think we'd do it. I'm certainly for giving MM some rope to figure it out, but it just doesn't feel like years past such as 2009 when this team was 4-4 and then finally woke up. Feels more like an apathetic team that just doesn't value winning anymore.

Don't get your hopes up guys. Packers definition of shake up will be to fire someone in the positions like running backs, TEs then promote some fool. Bring in another puppet.

Until McCarthy and Ted are gone it's going to be the same old stuff

I'm not convinced McCarthy needs to give up calling the plays again. The team is in need of a different offensive coordinator though.

Agreed. I kind of confused my coaching titles with what I posted, which is easy to do with the way the Packers currently have them listed this year and even more confusing last year. Whatever the case may be, they need an infusion of new blood with the offensive coaching staff. Some creativity and fresh ideas on how to utilize the talents that AR possesses.

THIS IS NOT A FIRE MM OP/POLL, IT'S A SIMPLE POLL OF THE BOARDS OPINIONS!

For 1.5 years now there has been increasing frustration of how Mike coaches, and calls plays, and now with the media floating the Hot Seat, my question is, what is your opinion of him?
MM is not a bad coach - but he is not great either. I view him as an above average NFL coach who has probably run his course with GB. Football teams are generally a mirror image of their coach. I don't think any of us like what we are seeing in the mirror right now. I always respected Bill Parcells. I believe he said at one point that a coach should not stay more than 10 years in any one place. I think MM should go. I also think TT should consider leaving as well and let one of his younger guys assume that position as well.

McCarthy's replacement would want to hire his own staff. I don't think anybody worth a d*mn would agree to keep Capers as a condition of taking the job, so we'd have that going for us.

Thompson is nearly at the end of the line; he's probably not interested in starting over at this late date. I think if you're going to burn it all down, then convince Thompson to make a retirement statement and go all in with some young blood.

I was listening to a radio show last night and this very question came up; "Who can fire TT?". The 2 radio heads both agreed that while it would come from Murphy, he would consult with the Executive Committee first. While I am not ready to throw the towel in on the season or the current regime, I do think a healthy discussion and planning isn't a bad thing considering what has happened on and off the field for the Packers over the last year +.
