I wouldn't mind at all if we come out of the draft with a solid #2 who doesn't drop the ball
Good point on drops. Yes some guys are better at catching the ball than others, and most guys can improve their game with coaching/training. But given the drops last year, they need a rookie WR with reliable hands. At this point, that's just as important as speed for the Packers. But that trade off doesn't have to be made with the right guy.

I've been expecting this to be yhe year we start trading WRs ever since 23, and I wouldn't be shocked to see 2 of them by some point in the season and possibly pre-season.
Probably the plain and simple truth, the WR's that the Packers would trade, aren't worth all that much to other teams.

As fans, we get attached to the Wicks, Meltons and Heaths of the team. We have read about their potential, seen signs of it in preseason and regular season games. All the while hoping they might become the next Donald Driver.

Every team has the same players, they just go by different names. Their value to each team is mostly in their knowledge of the playbook and teammates. Ask another GM what he'd trade for a "Bo Melton" and he might say "How about a Duece Johnson and a ham sandwich, but I'm going to need you to throw that good looking Turkey sandwich of yours in the deal "

I always wondered why the Packers never traded players more. Draft picks, yes, players no.
About the only ones I recall are Rasul before trade deadline for a pick swap. It was likely an oversight as we had started like 2-4 etc. and then went on a Stellar Run.

The others were problem children. That Kiser trade for Randall who was apparently stinking up the lockerroom

Definitely Dexter Williams

Talk about a future Legend being prematurely expunged!
I heard that Dexter and Jeff started up a business together called "Falling Stars".

It didn't do so well, evidently there isn't much of a market for underwater telescopes.
