Egbuka is an intriguing prospect. I watched Ohio State a fair amount this past season and he was hit or miss. Some games he barely saw the ball and in others he was a first down machine. As good as he is, Egbuka was WR#2 on the team. I think part of his problem was play calling. I see him as a very polished route runner. The combine will be interesting to see his 40 speed but I wouldn't complain if he was the 2025 first round pick at this point.

As I've been fleshing out my Edge rankings and reviewing more of them, I'm actually coming more and more in line with thinking this class is so deep and with the OL class being a little more shallow than in years past...I know it wouldn't be the **** pick or the pick that a lot GB fans would embrace that don't understand trenches win games but OL I would say needs to be back on the table...

Tackles are EXPENSIVE to pay and Rasheed Walker has been a starting LT in the game for a while for us and is going to demand to be paid like a multi-year starting LT....I believe we are best to only pay Tom an extension and try to replace Rhyan and Walker this draft or next proactively.

That would put these back on the table these four:

Armand Membou OL 18.25 - Armand has lived at RT and has excelled there, he's actually one of my favorite pure RTs and if we didn't have Tom I'd say is a draft and plug Day1 guy...he is a little shorter and I could see him be an elite RG prospect and Gute might nab him for the 2026 season and immediately have the ability to let Rhyan walk...shoot he could beat out Sean Rhyan in year 1....we all know Morgan was splitting time till shoulder had issues flare up.

Tyler Booker OL 25.00 - Booker is a guard through and through which is rare for Gute to target. He really likes those tackles switching to guard or guards with center play so I actually would say Booker isn't someone he's picking Day1.

Josh Conerly Jr. OL 27.5 - Conerly has been red circled as a Gute type guy for me and Day1 prospect since October or so. He could start for us at LT year 1 if needed, but again any high level OL prospect is likely battling and allowing Gute to look to the future....imagine a world where Gute swings Rasheed Walker in a trade to a team hungry for a LT because we have the luxury of say Conerly and Morgan both being capable and ready...

Grey Zabel OL 36.75 - Zabel is a guy with immense playability across the board and even showcased ability at center in Mobile for the Senior Bowl. Many have Zabel pegged as the one who made the most money at the Senior Bowl. IF you hear GB call his name my hunch is they hope he comes in illustrates a capability to run center for us and keep Jenkins right at home where he is....if not Jenkins will be the center with Morgan and Zabel likely battling for LG this year. Zabel

Guys I know for a fact OL is a primary thought process in this draft for GB, BUT only if a guy they like is there. Unless something unforeseen happens I think that means we love what Rasheed has been but do not see him as big LT extension worthy and that really has me thinking if Conerly, Zabel (arms may have us viewing as a guard) or Membou if GB feels his footwork can translate to LT (or if they see Tom as that answer) all as valid Day1 options.

Ersery from Minnesota is another higher level OT with nothing but LT experience that Gute and Co could really like.
