Duds - yes.

Well, that was a lousy way to start a Sunday. I've been saying all season the offense can't produce in the second half. The other team seems to catch on to what we're doing. Also, oddly, we seem to run the ball more and better in the first half than the second. How does that work?

The other thing is I kept hearing how great Joe Barry was, and I just don't see how all the raving is justified. The defense is better than it was though, and I don't blame them (entirely) on today's debacle. It's more on the offense, but they still let backups and injured teams push them around.

As for Rodgers, he must have had jet lag or something, because his accuracy was way off. Almost makes me wonder if age is starting to affect him, that usually happens suddenly. But I think it's more about our lack of good receivers. That's on Gute. But I'm sure it's hard to pay Rodgers and put a good team around him.

Okay, rant over.

Rodgers deep ball accuracy has been questionable for a while now, IMO. He needs to focus on short passes, and find a textbook on passing over the middle - because he's clearly forgotten how to do that (I jest, but really, Aaron needs to pass in the middle of the field more and less to the sideline).

Outcoached, outplayed, outschemed, outhustled, outhearted, outclutched.

This team is going nowhere.

Why are we throwing twice on 3rd and 2? Hand it to Dillon twice and that's a first and goal 99% of the time. Not to mention we wanted to bleed clock anyways. Zero reason to throw.

This defense is pitiful; I was bamboozled.

Rodgers isn't playing well either, but he is also the man who brought us Run the Table. so I suppose I'll watch next week.

Duds: The whole dang team! (except the RB's) Especially in the 2nd half. SB was gone almost that entire 8 min and DJ went 8 for 8?!! We got beat, not just a loss, BEAT. DJ isn't a starter on any other team, this is a really embarrassing loss. A freaking ton of NYG players were going down on that 8 min drive and they were not stopping anyone.

All duds..

Sorry but this was all around team loss
It was. The 2nd 30 minutes is one we want to forget. We were dominated. And by a team that does not have a long Pro Bowl alumni. They score the crucial TD with their best offensive player on the side the whole drive. We took them lightly. And they played top notch football. And next week is likely to be a fight as well.

A Miami team that is without its top 2 QBs. But yeah, if we don't win both of the next 2 games, then we are in trouble.
The Jets put up 40. If we do not come out to make a statement next week we never will.

How much did the jet lag affect? For me probably not a ton, but I think it had some factor. 5 percent?

But Im more concerned that the offense couldnt get a drive going, which led to the Def getting gassed.

People want to call the Def crap, but it happens and you cant recover

Maybe MLF should stop acting like a teenage cheerleader on the sidelines and concentrate more on the game particulars.
And maybe give play calling to the OC. So far (not unsimilar to Jenkins), we moved an xlnt O line coach to OC where I am not sure he does anything.

But I am so sick and tired of all those throws into the flat.

Duds
- MLF (just an odd refusal to run the ball at times)
- Barry, has he done anything to convince anyone he's any good at this?
- Receivers.. as MANY said before the season, this team lacks anyone who can consistently make a play downfield when one-on-one, everything has to be schemed for the receivers, these guys need to be wide open to accomplish anything consistently
- oline, just didn't stop the pass rush well enough on a team that needs to give receivers more time to get open
- Rasul, too many costly penalties

Studs
- Jones, when given the chance he was terrific
You said it all! A terrible performance all around by coaches and players. Maybe they all need to go back to peewee football. They are all an embarrassment to the entire state of Wisconsin. All that money spent and draft picks and Barry doesn’t know how to make the needed adjustments. I am tired of Matt’s excuses after every game too. You are all supposed to be professional players and coaches. What an entire disaster!!

Love how this was changed to just "Duds", because there were absolutely no "Studs". I did like our RB's at first, but they couldn't even been bothered to catch a pass in the second half. This was just a failure on all fronts, we were trounced in the 2 half, what a pure **** show. This was lackluster at best and just god awful at worst. One of the worst (2nd half) efforts I have seen by them in the past 20 years.

True. They saved us in Tampa. They came through in OT last week albeit a 3rd string QB. By keeping us off the field long enough our offense got flat and flustered. No reason why we did not get a FG attempt on that 3rd quarter drive before the sack. The goal should first be move the chains. Get in FG range. Then go for the TD. Rodgers took way too many long shots. He caught a break when Tonyan was interfered. Should have followed the recipe of our 2nd TD. We are vulnerable on 3rd and long. It took a great catch by Lazard to get us out of a 3rd and long last week. Then at 20-20 we go pass, pass, pass. It will work against some teams. Nor the good D's.

That’s another Matter. We’ve gotten a trivial amount of usage out of a #28 and #34 overall draft picks. We spent THREE 1st and 2nd Rounders. That’s 3 of our first 4 draft selections to play 1 player? That player is good but he replaced an adequate player in Barnes. So the one we did play is overlapping a starter capable? It’s not like we couldn’t use Eric Wilson type to fill in if we’re injured.

Is that our All In approach? Get a minor upgrade at Off ball LB with TWO 1sts Day and TWO 2nd Round selections? That’s some strange philosophy. What are we the Browns?
Monday morning QB. Aren't you the guy who loved the Watson pick? Aren't you the poster who put up multiple screenshots of Wyatt and touting him for more PT?

No. I like playing frisbee on Monday mornings. Plus it’s not even Monday yet. :coffee:

I do want to see more of Wyatt though, just not with him holding his groin or thigh or pants on the ground, hat turned sideways
