"PLAYER POSSESSION Article 7A player is in possession when he is in firm grip and control of the ball inbounds (See 3-2-3)."
By this definition you lose because your distorting the rule. MD WAS the receiver at the point he caught it with both hands past the goal line.

The GB player was the only player with clear cut possession and he had possession first (becomes a receiver) (both hands firmly on ball, no bobble, both feet in bounds, completes the catch all the way through without fumbling or using the ground in any manner). When M.D. touched his second foot that play was over and Tate did not have clear cut possession.
Tate never had clear possession and thus became a defender at the moment it was INT, not before M.D., not with M.D. and not after M.D. on the ground (that last part was inconsequential because the play was essentially dead once both of MDs feet touched in the end zone. It’s not the same as the field of play outside the Endzone, where you can fight for the ball until the receiver is officially down. That’s where your version falls apart, because it’s not “outside” the Endzone.

The League later both reviewed it admitted to an unfortunate missed call with substitute officials.

This all sounds to me like you are trying to hold on to your own version out of some sort of guilt, searching desperately for anyone who will corroborate your version, which doesn’t align with a panel of seasoned head referees.

If your version held. It would be like saying Lynch runs the ball into the Endzone with control and I grab the ball immediately after he crosses the goal line. And we fight for it. The possession goes to me? Cmon even you would say that’s absolutely ridiculous.

I am feeling a pretty comfortable win for Green Bay.

That doesn't really make a lot of sense, because these teams tend to play close, win or lose.

But a lot of dimensions of this game favor the Pack.

They're at home; they're healthy and Seattle isn't; Rodgers plays better in the cold and Wilson plays worse; and bottom line, they're a better team to begin with.

31-17 Packers.

I’m liking the Defenses in what’s looking like a post snow dump, windy, cold weather contest.
Packers 23
Seahawks 14

On a side note it would appear the NFL is NOT going to fine Clowney for the hit on Wentz. I know I shouldn't be surprise, but I am. I hope Rodgers watches himself around that dude. Idc if it was unintentional, the dude did lay a cheapshot on Foles before prior to this, so I'm not putting it out the realm of possibility that he might try to go for a cheapshot on Rodgers if things look dire.

As usual, the weather gnomes shot their *** and hit the dog by mistake. Now only 1-3 inches of snow tonight. Good thing. It'll make for safer travel.

I Actually am quite fond of the Packers! I respect the franchise, and I don’t get the hate but it’s natural in football. It’s hard to see a good rival outside of division opponents now days.

don’t think anyone will touch the hatred Colts and Pats fans have for each other. Lol

A lot of the animosity towards Seattle by Packers fans probably stems from the Fail Mary game.

it's gone from low 30's and clear to 30's and cloudy to high 20's to mid 20's and lots of snow to low 20's and minimal snow the night before. I"ll trust their forecast for tomorrows game, this afternoon or evening. as usual, the 10 days wasn't very close other than they were in the realm of winter weather was possible.

Ya that’s fair. End of the day it’s just a game to me. Seahawks were robbed in the super bowl against the Steelers but I’m over it now. Took me a few years lol.

You're over it? Pack lost in SB32 in 1998 and I'm still devestated. ;) Not really, I recognize Paul Allen was tampering with Mike Holmgren already and Mike's mind was already otherwise occupied.

I suppose losing to NE in that SB wasn't any fun either. Let's hope that regime is over.

I have a buddy who is a Vikings fan and he still isn’t over the (conf final game I think) when the saints beat the Vikings when Favre was there. Still talks about it daily lol.

Thanks for that lol. I legit can’t bring myself to watching that game or even talking about the ending. That’s the stuff nightmares are made of. No sports fan should have to go through that..... ever

Except Dallas fans lol jk. Ugh

I need a drink :(

Lol!!!im greedy, I always hope seattle wins the super bowl every year. Except one year. Their old man was a huge vikes fan and passed away with cancer two years ago. Always wished he got to see them win a super bowl. Couldn’t imagine going through life not seeing it.

granted Lions fans will have to do it for the rest of eternity lol.

Detroit did at least win a few world championships:

The Lions, who won NFL championships in 1935, '52, '53 and '57 before the Super Bowl era began with the 1966 season, are one of four teams never to play in a Super Bowl, along with the Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans.

Minnesota....Not-so-much.

HAha ya that’s a fair point. Minnesota is a pretty snake bitten franchise.
