Right, because you can see we have so much talent out there. Linemen who can't block, receivers too slow and short to do anything, TE who runs like he has a boat anchor tied to him, and CBs who can't cover anything and only 1 LB who has to play every position because the others stink.

Why don't you have a job as an NFL GM then?

So you're doubling down on one of the most ridiculous statements posted here? "I could pick better players than Thompson. All you would need is coaches to make them work, and make changes when they don't." Sounds so simple, why do you suppose so many GMs in the league have such problems achieving and then sustaining successful programs? According to your profile, you're 27. Are we to assume you're currently working for an NFL team? Or are you on a coaching staff at a major college? A minor one? Are you involved in football professionally at all? If not, why not?

How do you think Thompson is viewed by his peers? How about by former GMs and personnel people? Could you find anyone with any credibility who agrees with you that someone with no experience in the league at all could pick better players than Thompson? And how do you suppose they'd view your naive statement, "All you would need is coaches to make them work, and make changes when they don't."?

It's been made clear over the years that Thompson is well respected by his peers. I agree that he is very good at his job, but feel he will be coming to a crossroads this off season.

I'm starting to think Patriotplayer and Rodell are related.
