It had to be Devin Williams at the end of the Season opener at Yankee Stadium?

Yeah... bases loaded in the 9th, down 4-1 with NO OUTS and all they get is 1? For Gawd's sake that is causing some smokin' ***** for ol' weeds. Grrrr...

They've only given up 5 home runs in 8 innings today. Big improvment over yesterday's 9.

They're getting better. Slow steady improvement.

How can the Brewers trade a player to the Detroit Tigers, who's name is Brewer Hicklen?? It just seems like Milwaukee was his destiny franchise to play for.

Cortez did a nice job in his 6 innings v. the Reds last night. Wasn't pitching against the Yanks but showing a little more of his form. Good job crew in a 1-0 win.

Tuesday they came out and broke a s**tload of windows - with the help of 4 Colorado errors - today they couldn't hit a cow in the a** with a fist full of rice. Must have been the thin air catching up with them. Two outta three ain't bad (sing it with me .. pick 'er up on the downbeat)

Ooooo ... give it up for the man and don't forget to tip your server! :roflmao:

In college, I got dragged to the Majestic Theater in Madison for a Midnight showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I think they ran that for at least 20 straight years. I felt WAY out of place, of course it wasn't that I hadn't drank enough alcohol, it was that I didn't bring any props or know "the lines". An experience I will never forget. Was actually pretty funny (the audience).

My Detroit Tigers are coming to Milwaukee Mon-Wed. That should be a good series. After losing all 3 games to the Dodgers in the opening series of the season, they have gone 9-2 since, and looking to sweep the Twins tomorrow.

We used to drive from the U.P. to County Stadium on the regular to watch the Brewers and Tigers when they were both in the American League.

I used to manage a repertory theatre in Minneapolis, in the early 80s, before there was a VCR in every room of every house. We'd run doubleheaders of classic films for 2 or 3 days (Casablanca and Maltese Falcon, Victor Victoria and The Bird Cage, War of The Worlds and Forbidden Planet, etc), then I'd take the movies down to the Amtrak station, drop them off, and pick up the canisters for the next doubleheader. Really fun job, if you're a 25- year old kid who loves movies.

Except fpr Friday and Saturday night. Because that was when we ran Rocky Horror at midnight.

I guess it was kind if of fun, because the kids were wild about it, and there was a lot of excited energy. But I have to say, it did kind of wear on me.

You know that scene where everyone throws rice? We remodeled the whole theatre one month, and when they removed some of the light fixtures, there was rice inside of the sealed lights. How the hell those little barbarians managed to get rice inside of sealed units, screwed down firmly, I'll never figure out.
