@Poppa San Not running one for this season?

https://www.packerforum.com/threads/predict-the-final-record-competition-2019.82919/

Anway a copy/paste from last year's thread by Poppa!

Here's how it works. Each poster gives their prediction on the final record for the 16 game regular season. (example - 10-6). But seeing as how it's almost all but certain that multiple posters will predict the winning record, there are three tie breakers:

Tie Breaker 1: When will the Packers be eliminated from competition (examples - miss playoffs, wild card round, divisional round, NFC Championship game, Super Bowl, Super Bowl champions)

Tie Breaker 2: Where will the Packers offense rank in points per game among the rest of the NFL teams (example - 15th)

Tie Breaker 3: Where will the Packers defense rank in opponents points per game among the rest of the NFL teams (example - 15th)

...

Just make your predictions in here.

Thanks @XPack . It's been a wild summer for me. Hopefully we'll get decent participation between now and Sunday.

I'm usually one to be pretty optimistic, but I do not see where Gutekunst improved the team significantly (or even at all) over last year. The best we can hope for is big strides offensively from key players, along with the offense flowing much more fluid with another year of seasoning. It's really the only reason for optimism I have about returning most of the offensive playmakers.

And there's always an extra gear or two that Rodgers can slip into to in order to catapult the team into another level. Just not sure it'll be enough.

Defensively, I'm hoping a lot of the NFCCG collapse is schematically driven, but not holding my breath on that either.

It'll be a good regular season. But without considerable internal improvement, I'm not overly optimistic about a Super Bowl.

11-5 record

TB1: NFC championship game
TB2: 8th
TB3: 10th

Not running one for this season?
I don't recall running it, I think there was some type of board issue and I ended up reposting it. Anyway:

Well, lotta optimistic picks here, glad to see COVID didn't get to too many people here.

1. Gonna have to go with 10-6 as we got some tough ones early on, are unlikely to go unbeaten in divisional play, and still got room to improve

I think we get to the divisional round but not further in the playoffs

2. I'll rank our offense at 12th

3. Defense at 15th

If COVID shuts them down: 2-2

If they have a full season: 10-6

  1. Beat by 49'ers in Divisional Rd.
  2. #18 offense
  3. #9 Defense
