I'm seeing one of two things here.
1- Teddy tried to squeeze him for a pay cut, Sitton told him to go screw himself.
2- Some kind of 'personal conduct' violation that would make it very difficult to keep him around.
I dont see either of those being likely options. Sitton has had zero conduct issues.
Thia seems like it is completely about the back and contracts for next year
I'd - do- agree, except Sitton has said his back is fine, and there's been nothing reported to indicate otherwise. And there were plenty of other ways to deal with next years cap other than creating a big hole in your o line this year.
S Marwin Evans had made the roster, DL Tyler Kuder is headed to injured reserve.
Seriously? Who we going after?Packers planning to release Josh Sitton today. The move would result in $6.55 million of cap savings.
I thought barrington looked good.....as in he should start... But apparently i was wrong.A source close to ILB Sam Barrington said the Packers have told Barrington he is being released. Team has made no announcement.
Evans stood out to me...S Marwin Evans had made the roster, DL Tyler Kuder is headed to injured reserve.
Yep the Packers coaching staff is all crazy because you liked Barrington moreAnyone who thinks Ryan should of made this team over Barrington is just crazy. Ryan looked absolutely horrible Thursday night. Looked lost out there.
At least Barrington has some good tape.

I will. It is the game film toward the end of last year when he was taking real strides and obviously the coaching staff and personnel department agree with meIt's mind blowing to me. Go try to find any real good tape on Ryan.
Yeah but the starting punter instead a big loss. At least they have their two starting ilbsIt's supposed to be a super bowl run and you cut two starters. Makes no sense.
