Well my work office is now on a off / on schedule, 2 days on, 2 days off. So now with many free hours of being home, I can go back into my Packers dvd collection, and start watching classic games of the past from the 70's & 80's, and just think back to a much different era in football.

That's an era I'd just as soon forget, at least from a Packers standpoint - the Cowboys of the 70s, the '85 Bears. Ugh.

I think we got John Brockington around 1970. Might be fun to see him run a bit. The guy was a great runner! First to go over 1,000 yards in the first two years. (shorter schedule). And we had nothing but him.

Yes, those were brutal years for us.
Not only that, but as I noted before, some of the teams I can't stand were successful during that time as well. There were other successful teams I didn't mind so much though. Pittsburgh's dynasty didn't bother me, and neither did the 49ers. It helped that both of those teams took out the Cowboys.

I hate the 49ers now lol, but back then they didn't bother me.

If you have an Amazon Fire Stick you can watch the Green Bay 100 Years Legacy documentary for free. 10 part series divided by decade. It was well done and informative.
