It seems to me that when there is a problem it gets ignored.
They needed safety help they ignored it
They will continue to ignore it if they do not want to trade or bring in Reid then at least look at some of the guys in free agency even more after Brice performances but it will get ignored as Fackrell he is awful surely there is someone maybe John Simon etc who is a upgrade over Fackrell.
The offence seems predictable but MM is stubborn.
I really think MM is on the hot seat.
Just my opinons.

I do have renewed faith in Gute to right the ship..... eventually.. he did directly address or DB problem in the draft.

As far as MM.. he is definitely stubborn... and I'm not sure what needs to happen to get that to change... would hate to have to put him on the hot seat... but it appears to me that he is one of the main reasons we can't get over the hump.

We wanted Ted and Dom to go and they finally went.
We thought things would be better and so far they aren't.
I'm sick of this s#!t.
I really am.
Stick a fork in.
We are done.
Oh I know. It's still early in the season but I doubt another year with a SB.
Gawd, I really, really hope I get proven wrong on that. I really do.

Gutey can't clean up Teddy's mess overnight. It's gonna take at least three years. When Rodgers is past his prime.

Why do fans think assembling a talented roster is easy?
Why dont fans understand there is a limited salary cap?
Why do fans expect every draft pick to be a success?
Why do fans think nothing was done if a draft pick fails?
Why do fans expect every draft pick to develop within one training camo?
Why do fans think every other ro sa ther in the NFL is loaded with talent at every position?

Lots of questions out there.

.

I wholeheartedly agree. Some here think Murphy doesn't have it in him to fire MM. Think again folks!!

If those teams were run by some posters here, we could fire MM and pick up Bellicheck (fired after being outcoached by the lions!?!? ) and from the Vikes, Harrison Smith and Xavier Roads (cut after they got whipped by a raw rookie QB?!?!) Got to hold em accountable you know.

If teams could fill every hole then all 32 teams would be Super Bowl contenders every season.

Gute has done his best to improve the roster. TT's draft busts were so numerous that it will take time to turn the ship around. The O line is a major problem. Cutting Sitton and letting Lang go without drafting any guards was not a shrewd move by TT. Now AR is paying the price. It's getting crystal clear that Capers was not the problem. That speaks to the lack of talent on the roster. I don't think problems are being ignored, its a lack of talent.

I do not expect changes over night but there is no pass rush and the safety position may improve.
I do not expect a Thomas trade I doubt it will happen but there maybe some one in free agency who is better than Brice.
MM plays etc look old and stale to me.
I think Gute will fix things and you can not blame him for the draft picks what do not work.
The two drafted CBs look good so far.

Because this is the Green Bay Packers with a history and a legacy that they have been failing to uphold the last few years.

oh, we're special and nobody else has ever had success? Cowboys? 49ers? Steelers, Patriots, Bears, Vikings? Wait. No, not the Vikings. But the Browns, Giants, Raiders, and probably a few others have all had dynasties at some point.

People act like winning a Superbowl is easy and the Packers are the only ones trying.

We got the best QB and it's heartbreaking that he has not gotten another ring when he should have by now.
I put it on the D-Fence letting us down these last few years.
However I put it on the Packers for not getting a better back up QB when we really needed one.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that. He was certainly part of it, just not all of it. Our safeties and players like House or HHCD deteriorating can be put on Joe Whitt's head. Hopefully Pettine complains to MM about Whitt and tells him he wants a new DB coach at the end of this season.

I think that if you and I asked all of the other teams...nicely...they would stop taking all of the good players before we get more cap space.

Why do Packers fans think I'll it takes forever? Year 8 with the GOAT and we can't even get to the big game

Why do fans think assembling a talented roster is easy? I don't think it's easy, but if they're going to pay someone seven figures to do it, they ought to be able to not leave gaping holes.
Why dont fans understand there is a limited salary cap? I think most here understand that, and many/most of the player suggestions include some sort of cap adjustment such as cutting so-and-so, renegotiating with s0-and-so, et. al. How successful that might be is questionable, but few don't realize the cap is a major factor.
Why do fans expect every draft pick to be a success? I think most of us are disappointed in any draft choice that fails (as well as any free agent or trade or other player transaction), and 'success' is subjective (depending on the round), but most of us realize they're not all going to stick.
Why do fans think nothing was done if a draft pick fails? Perhaps 'nothing was accomplished' would be more appropriate in that situation?
Why do fans expect every draft pick to develop within one training camo? While 'expect' might again be too definitive a word, my personal problem with slowly developing players is the contract situation - except for 1st rounders, we only have four years, and to see they blossom in that fourth year only to leave to or hold the team hostage is frustrating.
Why do fans think every other ro sa ther in the NFL is loaded with talent at every position? You haven't seen the number of posts that have dumped on the Browns, Lions, et. al,?

Lots of questions out there. Always will be, or this forum goes away.

Yes, every team does everything every year to win the superbowl. Not every team has a HOF qb on the roster in his prime. Some do.

Most of the teams that do, they push every year to get there, more than others who still need to build talent on team. The Giants do, the Patriots do, the falcons and Steelers do. They always seem to draft and sign for this year.
We always draft and sign for next year. And the next.

Doesn't always work, only one team can win it all. But most teams with a star who can carry the team by themselves don't put that star in a position year in and out to have to do it.

We do. Signs are showing that our effort is improving, and I hope to see that it pays off before we are back to square one.

Gutekunst has used all methods available to improve the team this season but unfortunately it seems edge rusher and safety are still in need of an upgrade.

While the Patriots are definitely the team to strive for the Falcons haven't even won a Super Bowl in their history.
