They are back in 2015. That experience has taught me patience. But players usually don't go from being that bad to actually being good.
2015 was a rough year for him, but only becasue he let things like bad calls from the refs get to him. His ability was always there. He grew significantly in year 3 and hasn’t looked back since. I only wish he would get more national recognition becasue he is clearly one of the best WRs in the NFL.

I'm a Brice hater, and I hope a couple of years from now someone is able to rub my nose in this.
You have a lot of company. Unfortunately, I’m not as optimistic about Brice as I was about Adams in his first two years. As you indicated, I’ll be happy to be proven wrong about Brice.

Conversely, have the moaners and groaners over Nelson's departure (at 2 years / $14.6 mil no less) had any second thoughts?

If you would only be able to be patient before evaluating the offense based on six games with an injured quarterback.

I actually prefer Adams being an under the radar player.
Yeah, that probably is a good thing, especially with the way he’s playing this year.

Not by me. I’ll admit I didn’t like the move, but that was based more on emotion than reality. Glute did the right thing. Just wish he had done it with a little more class. It became clear he had no intention of keeping Nelson. Better to man-up and just tell him that instead of gaming him with the veteran minimum.
