I won't drag on with a LONG summary of sorts like normal but all this talk of Gutey admitting they need to be aggressive - I take that as possibly meaning a lot of things. Some think that means using draft capital to acquire players, some think trade ups only...I think it is a willingness to make things happen regardless of what that means - and even considering moving pieces that are somewhat uncomfortable.

FTR, before the draft we move Jaire (shown below), we sign a CB2/CB1 type guy, an edge, and likely to some level a WR.

**Jaire traded to the Ravens for 4.136 and a possibly future conditional depending on play**

1.23 - Traded away to the Commanders along with a 6th rounder in 2026. We receive 1.29 + 5.148 + 3rd rounder in 2026...likely had some trade offers that provided more for this year's draft but this gives some shells in different years and stays on Day1.

1.29 - Nic Scourton Edge Texas A&M - I love him more than Shemar Stewart personally by just a hair.

2.42 -We trade up watching Darius Alexander drop and a couple other DL to nab one of my favorite A and B gap guys Alfred Collins iDL Texas. ***We trade away our 3.87 + 7.239 and our 2nd for 2026 (having acquired the extra 3rd in 2026 earlier).

2.55 - Jalen Royals WR Utah State...dude can fly, big production, frame can play out or in and route tree translates anywhere.

4.124 - Tommie Hill CB Nebraska...a former top 50 on many watchlists didn't see a 2024 season he'd like. Did solid at senior bowl and if he tests well he's a guy that could push up around 100 or fall like many have felt of late. This is a slight steal IMO, but to others they'd say reach.

4.136 - Ajani Cornelius OT Oregon...played solid RT throughout college, odd going right side but could compete as backup or RG if Morgan is going say to LG while Jenkins goes C...flexibility and excellent right side strength added.

***Trade announced*** Bengals acquire Doubs from us in exchange for 5.154. This is a trade with a lot of ingredients pointing towards it from his 2024 play issues that brewed up, contract year and us unsure of if worth extending, drafting of Royals earlier and the continued belief that Wicks could be the future outside.

5.154 - Jake Majors OC Texas...guy with IMMENSE number of snaps starting at an elite program. If Jenkins, Monk or Tom isn't the answer Majors could step in and take over likely.

5.160 - Cody Lindenberg LB Minnesota...depth guy with highside potential who has been everywhere on the field for the gophers.

6.200 - Hunter Wohler S/LB Wisconsin...dude this last season had over a 100 snaps at slot, 225 deep alignment and over 300 in the box. 2023 snaps looked similar...a chess piece that has the speed to roam, the size to boom and the ability to make in an NFL room.

7.251c - Seth Henigan QB Memphis...producer at the collegiate level, decent arms strength especially up to deep intermediate and has the athleticism to extend plays. Project behind Malik who could be the answer to Malik leaving in 2026.

I can only say 2 thigs about that Tyni. I like your position picks and grabs before the draft. But I'd rather take a chance on Jaire.

I would not hate this.

Right now I don't see a scenario that Jaire is back unless there is a contract restructure, but I'm not even sure that would matter. A Doubs trade would surprise me, but wouldn't upset me.
