OK, call me fired up after the big win last night, but I say 4-0 here we come.

BTW, Rodgers is 7-0 on Monday night in Lambeau Field for every game he's started and finished.

I'll address the Falcon fear mongering posters later, but for now, I'd say this game is far less of a challenge than winning on the road in the Superdome.

I'm predicting a final score along the lines of 52-17 Packers.

You'll probably be hearing a lot this week about this being a trap game. But I think this team is a very well prepared and focused team, and I'd be surprised if they didn't win decisively.

I called this with Eagles last year. I'm more worried about this game than the Saints one.

Anyway, we do seem to have the upper hand in paper. Their injuries are piling up faster than ours!

I expect them to run more. They have been more and more reliant on run game this year and with our depleted Interior, I expect them to continue to do this more.
  • vs. Seahawks: 21 attempts for 72 yards
  • at Cowboys: 34 attempts for 113 yards
  • vs. Bears: 25 attempts for 144 yards
Gurley and Hill need to be contained more effectively than we did vs Kamara.

A bit of discipline for our CBs and we should have this wrapped up nice and tight.

Matt Ryan's been hit and miss. Threw 4 TDs and a 120+ passer rating vs Cowboys ..... and had 1 INT each in other 2 games and half that passer rating.

They have a good pass rush, but I have enough confidence in our O-Line and AR's scrambling to not give up too many sacks.

Still salty over them dominating us in 16 NFC Championship then choking beyond repair vs New England. Crush them.

Let the butt kicking commence. But in all seriousness this screams a trap game. Atlanta is in a corner, and Quinn will be playing for his job as it's likely on the line. If they get blown out, then it wouldn't surprise me to hear he gets fired within the week. But frankly I'm starting to think that he lost most of the players in all honesty. I'm hoping Rodgers torches them because of what they did to us in the past, and being without Julio we should be ok. Nevertheless a cornered animal is dangerous.

We need to score immediately and score big. I'm hoping Rodgers throws for 6-7 TDs. That would be amazing.

And right on cue of course that 2016 game got brought up. Now... On that note I understand why. That was tough with another nfccg going short of getting Rodgers another SB win.

BUT.... I don't care about the 2016 Atlanta team any more because we're not playing the 2016 Atlanta team. We are playing the complete stink show of the 2020 Atlanta team, and no they aren't some good team that's 0-3. There's no such thing. They're the worst coached team in NFL history and that's a fact.

I completely agree but the TALENT on the Falcons is still averaging about 30 points a game with a dysfunctional coaching staff. No Julio Jones and they still almost beat the Bears. I think the Packers win but it will be closer than it should be.

Sorry but thinking Atlanta is a cupcake in my opinion merely ignores logic. Many forget that in order to be in a position for collapses, you have to have dominated the game to get to that position.

They're averaging around 30, can put up points in a hurry and have some serious offensive weapons.

That all said, I just don't think MLF and this year's Aaron is going to allow this team to let this be the team that gives us that first loss.

My prediction is we CONTROL the whole game, despite the end score making it seem closer when the dust all settles...

Leadership test for our veterans and coaching staff. They know what the records are. No time for complacency. Everyone must show a sense of urgency this week.

You can’t honestly think a team that has been ahead going into the fourth quarter in every game they’ve lost this season but 1 is going to a “cupcake”. Idc what their record is, Atlanta is 2 fourth quarter collapses away from being 2-1. Not to mention home field advantage isn’t even a thing right now.

The team needs to start off fast and make sure they aren’t looking ahead to the bye week.

Trap game?

Let's hope not.

I believe the Packers have benefited greatly from the absence of fans thus far this season. With crowd noise removed from the equation, I believe the superior team has an even greater advantage than they normally would.

And between Atlanta and Green Bay, the Pack are obviously the superior team. Atlanta does have firepower on the offensive side of the ball, but as good as he can be at times, Ryan is simply nowhere near as good as Rodgers. I really think it's that simple.

I'm definitely not taking this game for granted. Atlanta is better than their record, and really should be 2-1. I think we will win, but I suspect they'll put up plenty of points on our D.

So I think we win this game Atlanta doesn't have much of a defense right now and Julio missed last week not sure how healthy he'd be but this is not a cupcake game to me Atlanta has a lot of offensive fire power they are plenty dangerous even when they have a bad record, just last year they looked terrible but pulled huge upsets on the 49ers and the Saints once nearly twice.

I expect us to win but this game isn't one to be taken for granted.

The Falcons' offense is more than capable of winning in a shootout. This Falcons team isn't good overall, but they are a lot more dangerous than the other 0-3 teams because they're capable of wracking up lots of points. They're actually 3rd in points scored in the NFC behind the Packers and Seahawks, and 5th overall in the NFL. And the GB defense has been pretty unimpressive in stretches.

Atlanta has racked up points on the Packers the last few years and is fully capable of engaging in a shootout.

Green Bay should play it safe and give Adams another week of rest. With a week 5 bye, Adams should be ready for the rest of the season. Remember...only 1 team gets a bye week for the playoffs.

Let Aaron Jones cook and allow Lazard and MVS to develop more rapport with Rodgers. Also, get the TEs involved too.

Atlanta will play Julio Jones along with Ridley, Gurley, Gage, and Hurst. They will test the Packer's secondary. The Packer's defense is starting to gel. Z. Smith is gonna need to play lights out and wreck havoc.

This should be an up-tempo game. Atlanta is desperate. First team to make a mistake might lose.

Its going to he a shootout. Matt Ryan has picked the defense apart too many times to think that the Falcons won't put up at least 30. Pack needs to get the run game in gear and keep him off the field.

Like others, the title of this thread made me instantly think that we're gonna lose!

The sign of a championship team is how they stay focused for even the cupcake games.

That's true, but we're not the team. We're some schmucks on a forum.

Well I will say this...I’m less worried about this kind of thing now then I would’ve been last season after the 3-0 start. Last year we struggled to score points and the offense looked boring...this season through the first three games I actually feel like as long as they don’t turn the ball over they are almost guaranteed at least a Crosby FG.

For me, it's simple: I cannot shake the feeling that the packers are not quite there yet. It's a good team and will make the playoffs, but they don't scare anybody. Every opponent (even the lions and bears) have a chance to come out with a win.

This week they should put up 45 or more on ATL's D, but how many will they give up? Other than the viking game, I haven't felt the pack had a safe lead until well into the 2nd half.

Agree with most but first part isn't quite true.

So... Last four meetings

2016: Gm 1 - Atlanta 33 Us 32 - definitely shootout between us

Gm 2 nfccg Atlanta 44 us 21 - ugly blowout

2017: Atlanta 34 us 23 - fair enough they racked up points here

2018: Us 34 Atlanta 20 - not a shootout at all and pretty one-sided. Last TD they scored came with just 14 seconds left.

Other thing is 3 of those four games were in Atlanta on that astro turf. The game we won decisively was up here on real grass in Lambeau.

Like I said, past results are only those, just past results. But just saying it's a bit inaccurate to say they always rack up points on us.
