Hmmm....really ? I'm always suspicious when I see beers with fruit or other "exotic" flavours....
If you ever get a chance to try a British beer called "Poachers choice" do so. It can be a little sweet, but has Damson and liquorice tones which is really nice indeed.
Is Damson like a plum or a pear???... I forgot.

Yeast is right for nowadays but wasnt mentioned in the original "Reinheitsgebot" from 1516.You forgot yeast! Only 4 ingredients. Hops, Barley, water and yeast.

Pennsylvania brewery. Downington I think is the city. Victory Brewing Co. Good Pils. They also make a Belgian Tripel which is nice.
