Not as simple as that. Tampa wasn't a threat when the season started. No idea who the new threats will be next season. With all the coaching changes and QB changes to come, it's not possible to list possible threats right now.

Washington, Rams, Falcons, Eagles, Panthers...lots of potential threats...not to underestimate our own division.

A Tom Brady led team with a good defense and exceptional passing options wasn’t a threat at the beginning of the season?

So granted I know Cowherd isn't the biggest Rodgers fan and whatnot but I listened to him today and he mentions how Rodgers has the potential to win multiple rings in the future.
Every time a team wins the Super Bowl, you hear that the team is going to be around for a long time to come. And a lot of the time, that team declines and the future hopes evaporate. When Rodgers won his Super Bowl everybody talked about how many more he was going to win, but that hasn't transpired. It's a bad tendency with the media.

I pretty much quit watching the sports shows because I tired of the politics, but I did see Cowherd had the Packers ranked no. 1 in his Herd Hierarchy, and he has said they are the best team in the playoffs. So it appears he gives credit where it is due, at least some of the time.

Nah, I didn't expect him to settle in this quick and lead them all the way to championship game. I did expect Saints and Falcons to be better. Bucs rise along with Falcons collapse is not something I'd have predicted.

Aaron Rodgers is like Dan Marino, except Dan Marino wasn't lucky enough to play against Jay Cutler.

I expected the Bucs to be good but I didn't expect Brady to take them to the Super Bowl in his first year. Disgusting.

I'm sorry but this doesn't sit well with me at all. Rodgers EASILY could've gotten close and possibly gotten in. How do you not run?

I loved Rodgers performance today. The INT was not his fault, it was the fault of the refs, as was alot of things that went against this team. I absolutely LOVED how he went to the refs after the call on King and fought for his teammates. I've never seen Rodgers do this, and this is a sign of leadership I've wanted to see for about 14 years now.[/QUOTE]

He proved last year he won't get in, even from the 1, what makes you think he's getting in from the 13?

I wasn't impressed by Rodgers' performance today, but I will note just FYI that Rodgers' passer rating was 101.6 compared to Brady's 73.9.

All of which means pretty much jack squat.

Wow we're like on the total opposite of the spectrums today, because I wasn't too happy with his performance. Don't get me wrong he did well, but this is the ******* NFC Championship game. He has so many opportunities and he blew them. It's not just him, but missing reads, not running the ball when you had a path, not going for it on 4th down. It's like how bad do you want it?

There was zero from the run game today and our oline sucked a big fat ****ing bag. The only reason we're remotely in this game was Rodgers. the 5 times we pressured Brady he threw up INT balls. Rodgers was moving for his life back there. I need at least 2 hands to count the number of plays he didn't even get to his drop point and he was being hit.

Maybe makes it to the 5-3. I thought he might have a chance to score, but I don't think it was a good chance.

You sure?

AR had a few times where he had 3-4 seconds and sat in the pocket...

Sure he was getting pressured probably 1/3 of the time it seemed, but he had a good amount of plays with 3-4 seconds and just "sat and waited"

yeah, i'm sure. Brady got pressured 5 times and threw 5 balls in the air that could easily have been INT's. Rodgers made plays under pressure all damn game. Lesser QB's have 5 INT's and we lose by 30 in that game.

I'm not blaming Rodgers for the loss, but he didn't exactly put the game on his shoulders either. Good point about the run game and the Oline, 27 yards from Jones isn't exactly our formula for winning. The team as a whole just didn't play up to the occasion, but they had their chances. And the refs suddenly remembering that they had flags didn't help either.

This is the exact ****ing problem. Essentially excusing the other phases of the game and saying "hey Aaron, be superman". How exactly has that worked out for the Packers?

I'm sick of Rodgers not getting enough support. Tonight was another shining example of that.

I get that and it's not fair.

But Aaron is a 1st ballot future HOFer and he also so happens to take up like 25% of our salary cap LOL

So I think it's a legit ask to ask of him.

What have the Packers proven in their history that shows they could better use the cap dollars that are otherwise allocated to Rodgers besides squander it as usual?

Rodgers deserves to be paid like he is.

By the way he accounted for roughly 10% of the Packers cap hit this year so try again.

Whatever I don't know the number, but I know it's high

We need like a Ryan Pickett type of signing to pair with Clark, like when we had Raji

Maybe another secondary playmaker like Cwood, is Hyde available next year?

Whatever I know the number is high, even though it's not even half of what I claimed for it to be. *****.

Ding Ding Ding.. we have a winner. Fans on this site CONTINUALLY expect Rodgers to be Superman in every scenario otherwise he's a dud or part of the problem. Rodgers put the team in position multiple times to get the W. That end of the half defense and beginning of the half fumble by Aaron Jones were the difference in this game.

I'll even excuse all the ref BS

Why is it always another off player to blame? Its okay to say rodgers should ran it in. Its okay to say he had a few mis throws

Def got 3 ints on Brady...THREE..Def was good last few weeks..at some point everyone has to step it up
