Mar 21, 2016 5:14 AM - metallicblaze: Overspent internally, not externally.
Mar 21, 2016 6:32 AM - Ace: I'm curious where we overspent internally? Perry? maybe I guess but not by much. Certainly not on Starks, one could argue Crosby I suppose.
Mar 21, 2016 6:33 AM - Ace: But if you consider those overspendatures, then what is Mike Daniels? If we "overspent" on those guys, then we basically extended Mike Daniels for free if that's how we're going to look at it
Mar 21, 2016 6:58 AM - adambr2: I do agree that the Daniels extension looks greatly in our favor now.
Mar 21, 2016 8:01 AM - 7thFloorRA: I'm still waiting for them to bring in some competition and hopefully a replacement for god awful Masthay.
Mar 21, 2016 8:24 AM - Ace: Eliot Wolf promoted to Director of Football Operations.
Mar 21, 2016 8:33 AM - 7thFloorRA: TT is going to bail sooner than we think.
Mar 21, 2016 8:35 AM - Ace: Well and if there was any doubt who his successor is, I think that's gone now
Mar 21, 2016 8:35 AM - 7thFloorRA: I bet he has 1 maybe 2 seasons left but will continue scouting college players
Mar 21, 2016 8:36 AM - Ace: Agree
Mar 21, 2016 9:41 AM - longtimefan: Might be his last year now... Teaching him the ropes for thus year thrn he can slide in the chair next year
Mar 21, 2016 9:56 AM - Ace: I wonder if the Packers hadn't been surprised by Raji's decision if things so far this off season would have been different
Mar 21, 2016 9:57 AM - Ace: In that maybe a guy or 2 are already signed.
Mar 21, 2016 9:58 AM - 7thFloorRA: I bet they kind of knew. They jumped on Guion quite early.
Mar 21, 2016 10:12 AM - Green and Gold: Packers showing their hand on who they want to be TT's successor and it appears (like we all thought it would be ) Eliot Wolf is that person.
Mar 21, 2016 10:13 AM - Green and Gold: Wonder if TT's retirement is sooner rather than later.
Mar 21, 2016 10:50 AM - Jerellh528: Wolf
Mar 21, 2016 11:00 AM - longtimefan: I don't think packers knew...
Mar 21, 2016 11:00 AM - longtimefan: Heard something that Murphy was surprised
Mar 21, 2016 11:29 AM - azrsx05: I hope this is TTs last year
Mar 21, 2016 11:33 AM - Ace: I would love to re-visit 5 years after Ted is gone and see if the people who have such distain for him realize how good he actually was.
Mar 21, 2016 11:33 AM - Ace: Or the other way for someone like me and apologize to the people who wanted him gone because I was wrong.
Mar 21, 2016 11:34 AM - Ace: Either way I am VERY curious to see what life is going to be like post Ted
Mar 21, 2016 12:29 PM - bozz_2006: who was the guy that elliot wolf replaced?
Mar 21, 2016 12:30 PM - bozz_2006: reggie mckenzie?
Mar 21, 2016 12:35 PM - Mondio: I think Ted will leave this team in great shape, from the people he's brought up in the front office, to the cap space, and the talent on the field. Whoever, and whenever they take over, I imagine they'll be in good shape
Mar 21, 2016 12:37 PM - tynimiller: I would love to have TT still involved in the draftee scouting and war room..even after he steps down.
Mar 21, 2016 12:40 PM - 7thFloorRA: I think he would stick around and scout but stay clear of the war room. Scout some college talent, give reports, leave the country for the draft.
Mar 21, 2016 12:41 PM - tynimiller: The man has a knack for mid round evaluating players...or perhaps it is some of the people he's surrounded himself with who knows.
Mar 21, 2016 12:45 PM - PackerDNA: Ace, I think the beat will go on when TT goes. The Packers are rock solid from an organizational standpoint.
Mar 21, 2016 12:51 PM - Jerellh528: I agree PackerDNA, the organization from top down is full of quality professionals, the fabric of the team doesn't have weak fibers so it's strong as a whole
Mar 21, 2016 12:52 PM - Ace: We'll find out I guess. It was pretty bad when he took over. I don't think Elliot Wolf is Mike Sherman but I don't think he's going to be a carbon copy of Ted either. It will be intereting to see how he does if in fact he is the one to take over
Mar 21, 2016 12:59 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Wolf will spend in FA
Mar 21, 2016 12:59 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Responsibly, but he'll spend something.
Mar 21, 2016 1:01 PM - tynimiller: Better be responsibly...it isn't TT that makes me not like big spending it is common sense that doesn't...

Mar 21, 2016 at 1:14 PM - 7thFloorRA: I don't think you need to blow your cap every year and really screw yourself going forward....but you also don't need to roll over 12 mil and then not use it the next year. I like TT's approach for the most part but he could make a few small moves here and there that won't affect his overall plan.
Mar 21, 2016 at 1:14 PM - 7thFloorRA: small moves like adding a damn punter!!!!
Mar 21, 2016 at 1:16 PM - 4zone: New first round thoughts. Which OL guy do you take, no matter who else is on the board if he's available?
Mar 21, 2016 at 1:18 PM - Ace: Can I say none? because it isn't a huge need?
Mar 21, 2016 at 1:24 PM - PackerDNA: This just in from Schneider in Seattle: "oh well"...
Mar 21, 2016 at 2:10 PM - adambr2: Tunsil, but that isn't happening, so none
Mar 21, 2016 at 2:51 PM - SeahawkFan80: :)
Mar 21, 2016 at 4:46 PM - Jz3: Packers wont make the playoffs for along time when Rodgers retires. Doesn't matter what TT does.
Mar 21, 2016 at 4:49 PM - Jz3: A top QB makes any GM/coach look good.
Mar 21, 2016 at 4:50 PM - Jz3: How would TT look without Rodgers. How would Schneider look without Wilson. Coach B was fired and nothing special before Brady came along.
Mar 21, 2016 at 5:15 PM - 7thFloorRA: teams with good qb's have the luxury of developing the next guy while the star starter is finishing up his career.
Mar 21, 2016 at 5:23 PM - PackerDNA: Coach Parcells doesn't have any rings without Coach Bellichik
Mar 21, 2016 at 6:04 PM - Mondio: It's almost as if this is a team sport
Mar 21, 2016 at 6:44 PM - Poppa San: Nah. Trent Dilfer can carry any team to the SB championship. :roflmao:

Mar 22, 2016 6:18 AM - Ace: Im not following Jz3, am I the only one?
Mar 22, 2016 7:26 AM - Vltrophy: Cowboys to sign RB Morris
Mar 22, 2016 7:27 AM - SeahawkFan80: Poppa, Does trent own a bus service??? LMAO...:p
Mar 22, 2016 7:27 AM - Ace: Another crappy RB they can pump up as a great signing.
Mar 22, 2016 7:30 AM - Ace: 3.72 ypc in 2015... yikes
Mar 22, 2016 7:31 AM - Ace: And we thought Lacy was bad
Mar 22, 2016 8:40 AM - PackerDNA: You're not alone, Ace.
Mar 22, 2016 8:44 AM - Ace: Whew lol
Mar 22, 2016 8:44 AM - tynimiller: There is no way to know how the team will be after Rodgers Jz3....people said the same thing about Favre....
Mar 22, 2016 9:29 AM - SeahawkFan80: After 10 years in the league as the franchise qb...you should be grooming your replacement so they have someone to step in with little or no change in variables. .....SHOULD bE being the pertinant terms.
Mar 22, 2016 10:17 AM - PackerDNA: Exactly, Seahawk Fan80. There's this assumption that we're gonna have Rodgers- and at a high level- for at least 6 more seasons. His desire to play could change before that; injuries could ruin all that.
Mar 22, 2016 10:35 AM - Jz3: Look at all TT's dumb moves this off season already. It's bad enough he doesn't even work or do his job during FA. But he resigns his scrubs for the same money some big FA's get. You could not resign Starks, Crosby, Taylor, Perry and bring in some solid starters.
Mar 22, 2016 10:36 AM - Jz3: TT might be a very good scout. But he is a GM and one of the worst GM's in the NFL. TT is the reason why this team is nothing but a one and out in the playoffs every year unless we play a team like the Vikings years ago or the Redskins that are not even real playoff teams.
Mar 22, 2016 10:37 AM - Ace:
Mar 22, 2016 10:39 AM - Green and Gold: TT did some considering during FA all right. He considered it a waste of his time! ;)
Mar 22, 2016 10:39 AM - Green and Gold: We are better off than a lot of teams and spoiled as a fan base.
Mar 22, 2016 10:41 AM - Ace: Spoiled is probably the understatement of the century
Mar 22, 2016 10:48 AM - PackerDNA: I don't buy the 'spoiled' bit, and I couldn't care less about 'everybody else'.
Mar 22, 2016 10:49 AM - Ace: You don't think Packers fans are spoiled? You're kidding me right?
Mar 22, 2016 10:49 AM - rodell330: Exactly DNA...that's how I feel too
Mar 22, 2016 10:51 AM - PackerDNA: I don't think it's the right word. I don't hear about Pats fans being spoiled, and I know a few.
Mar 22, 2016 10:51 AM - Ace: And I'm not even saying it as a knock on fans, it's just a fact. 25 years of HOF QB play will do that, it is what it is
Mar 22, 2016 10:52 AM - Ace: 25 straight years of winning football will do that
Mar 22, 2016 10:52 AM - PackerDNA: How about 'high expectations'- much of which has been put there buy the team itself.
Mar 22, 2016 10:54 AM - Ace: We just have different meanings for the word I think.
Mar 22, 2016 10:54 AM - Ace: Or different views of how it
Mar 22, 2016 10:54 AM - Ace: 's used to describe fans
Mar 22, 2016 10:56 AM - Ace: I don't know how you can look at a Packers fan as anything but spoiled since Favre took over.
Mar 22, 2016 10:57 AM - PackerDNA: I think we're close enough on it that we're probably wearing the same jerseys. ;)
Mar 22, 2016 11:01 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Finally, some anti TT Sentiment
Mar 22, 2016 11:02 AM - Ace: finally? You must be new here lol
Mar 22, 2016 11:02 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Starks, and Crosby should have been resigned, nobody else. After Raji retired, Knighton and Dansby should have been picked up.
Mar 22, 2016 11:02 AM - Ace: because I'm not old here and there's plenty of anti TT
Mar 22, 2016 11:03 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: It seems like you guys don't want to look beyond the veil.
Mar 22, 2016 11:03 AM - Ace: Not true. I agree with the philosophy but he's not beyond ridicule.

Mar 22, 2016 at 11:07 AM - Ace: I agree with what you said about Knighton and Dansby, and it still could happen. I'm not going to hold my breath but crazier things have happened
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:16 AM - rodell330: Yea I wouldn't either you'd surely die expecting TT to sign FAs outside GreenBays own
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:21 AM - Ace: fair statement
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:22 AM - adambr2: I have no idea why anyone still thinks it was important that we re-sign Crosby
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:22 AM - Ace: I would have been fine either way on him tbh.
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:24 AM - tynimiller: I like Crosby but like Jones, IMO better off not spending money on either retaining.
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:29 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: So who is our Kicker then?
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:29 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: He has a down year a while back yes, but he's back to form.
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:31 AM - Ace: We would just go into the season without one, wing it ;)
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:31 AM - Ace: See who looks good in practice during the week and go with them as the kicker
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:34 AM - tynimiller: We way over spent for his services though, I am a Crosby fan but business sense wise made none.
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:34 AM - tynimiller: Also overpaid Starks...he wasn't going to get that kind of money ANYWAY else...we overpaid to keep own
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:35 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: If we were going to overpay anyone it should have been Jones
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:35 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: He earned the check.
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:35 AM - adambr2: A late draft pick? An undrafted guy like Justin Tucker? Its a mediocre kicker. Not worth 4M of cap space a year.
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:36 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Drop Janis and Abbrederis, keep Montgomery
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:36 AM - adambr2: I don't mind Crosby, just way, way overpaid for his production.
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:38 AM - adambr2: Janis is going nowhere. He is more likely to be our #3 than cut. Abbrederis it depends on his camp, his competition and how many WR we want to keep.
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:39 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Lineup should be Jordy/Jones/Cobb/Montgomery/Adams
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:40 AM - Ace: I like Jones but let's not act like he's Antonio Brown. He was cut multiple times last offseason for a reason. I'd be in favor of bringing him back but he's not worth getting worked up about IMO
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:42 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: He'll out out more than Janis and Abbrederis
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:42 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: *put out
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:42 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: With the league veteran minimum he'll save us money too.
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:45 AM - Vltrophy: NFL passes 7 new rules. One day F them is a loss of down if an ineligible player touches the ball after stepping out of bounds even if he reestablishes himself in bounds
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:46 AM - Vltrophy: Another is the horse collar will include from the name tag up
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:46 AM - Vltrophy: The extra point will follow forever be at the 15 yard line
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:47 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Chargers looking to trade down the #3 pick....
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:48 AM - Vltrophy: Chop blocks are illegal. They were already illegal but something more changed bout it
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:49 AM - Vltrophy: A team between 10-20 may trade
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:49 AM - Ace: And what would the Packers have to give up in order to get that #3 pick F>R? 3 1st's and Aarons first born would be my guess
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:54 AM - PackerDNA: A #3 pick is waaaaaaay out of range for a team at #27.
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:55 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: #27 pick, #54 pick, 2nd and 4th of 2017
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:55 AM - Ace: Lol. let me know how that works out
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:56 AM - Ace: What'd Washington give up for RG3? and they weren't trying to move up 24 spots either
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:56 AM - Wynnebeck: Man this offseason has been such a dumpster fire. TT hasn't done squat except resign his own people and fail to address pressing issues that are bound to come up. Another mediocre season here we come.

Mar 22, 2016 at 11:56 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: This is a defensive draft that is really deep, the Chargers can fill their defensive needs later in the draft, so nothing too expensive for this year.
Mar 22, 2016 at 11:59 AM - adambr2: We're not getting the #3 pick. If we have a target in the low 20's, giving up a 3rd or 4th to move up would be more realistic.
Mar 22, 2016 at 12:02 PM - Vrill: "another mediocre season"? "Dumpster fire"? LOL....Double digit wins is far from mediocre. I swear, some of the hyperbole that gets spewed here is retarded.
Mar 22, 2016 at 12:03 PM - adambr2: Pretty sure he was being sarcastic Vrill.
Mar 22, 2016 at 12:03 PM - Vrill: I don't know about that after reading what he said in full
Mar 22, 2016 at 12:43 PM - SoonerPack: Agree with Vrill on this one...
Mar 22, 2016 at 12:51 PM - adambr2: I'm going by Wynnebeck's posting history, would bet just about anything that he's being sarcastic.
Mar 22, 2016 at 12:55 PM - longtimefan: Cook about to be signed?
Mar 22, 2016 at 1:09 PM - Vrill: sign with who? source?
Mar 22, 2016 at 1:10 PM - Vrill: http://sportsglory.com/nfl/packers/...ed-in-te-jared-cook-after-packers-visit/50718
Mar 22, 2016 at 1:11 PM - Ace: MM being interested and Ted actually signing him are 2 VERY different things
Mar 22, 2016 at 1:21 PM - Vrill: Yeah. Who knows I guess. I will say that this late in FA, Cook could be had for cheap at least. probably close to vet minimum.
Mar 22, 2016 at 1:26 PM - Wynnebeck: Of course I'm being sarcastic guys. It's a Tuesday and we've got nothing to do. lol
Mar 22, 2016 at 1:29 PM - Vrill: okay, you're forgiven...............for now! :)
Mar 22, 2016 at 1:53 PM - Vltrophy: Touchbacks will now come out to the 25 to try & stop running it back. Not going to work
Mar 22, 2016 at 1:59 PM - Wynnebeck: What!?
Mar 22, 2016 at 2:03 PM - adambr2: I like it.
Mar 22, 2016 at 2:11 PM - Vrill: Its basically the same as College. not a big deal.
Mar 22, 2016 at 2:48 PM - adambr2: The reason I like it is that we have often by design tried to pin the other team deep on kickoffs as it is. Now we have more of a reason to do so where there wasn't really an advantage before. Meanwhile our O should get to start on the 25 most of the time now instead of the 20.
Mar 22, 2016 at 3:25 PM - Green and Gold: I'm actually glad Ted acknowledged the fans. It would be easy for him to just say they considered players and move on. Instead he realized the disappointment from the fans, and he issued a short, Thompson-like apology.
Mar 22, 2016 at 3:26 PM - Green and Gold: Maybe they're still working on a player or two. Could be as simple as Kuhn and Neal, could be a surprise FA. This offseason isn't over.
Mar 22, 2016 at 4:38 PM - NelsonsLongCatch: Why wouldn't special teams pop the football up and let it land at the 15 from now on? I think the new rule is stupid. Why fix what's not broke?
Mar 22, 2016 at 4:39 PM - NelsonsLongCatch: Hang time will be a big deal now
Mar 22, 2016 at 4:58 PM - adambr2: Haven't looked into yet but I doubt it's on punts, just kickoffs
Mar 22, 2016 at 5:00 PM - adambr2: The 25 yard line touchback is not passed yet. Just proposed.
Mar 22, 2016 at 8:21 PM - Eli Haugen: quit
Mar 22, 2016 at 8:22 PM - Eli Haugen: messing with the rules!!!

Mar 23, 2016 at 4:32 AM - longtimefan: Jason Garrett interview last night... In free agency try to sign lot of our own guys...look for right kind of guys... Great football character, great personal character.... Wait--what? Great personal character??
Mar 23, 2016 at 6:06 AM - Ace: I'll say this about the Cowboys longitmefan, I think they've actually figured it out. I don't buy the "Great personal character" part (see Greg Hardy) but overall I think they've figured out how to build a successful football team. IF (BIG IF) Romo can stay healthy, they should be at or near the top of the NFC this year
Mar 23, 2016 at 7:04 AM - longtimefan: Just thought the personal character part was a joke
Mar 23, 2016 at 7:08 AM - Ace: They were moving towards that I think but the Greg Hardy completely went against that so I would agree they still lack in that area. Honestly I'm surprised they haven't re-signed him yet
Mar 23, 2016 at 7:24 AM - TeamTundra: Starting in 2017 an additional on field official will be added, probably in the defensive backfield.
Mar 23, 2016 at 7:26 AM - TeamTundra: The IR designated to return rule is also changing. Yo
Mar 23, 2016 at 7:27 AM - TeamTundra: A team does not need to immediately identify the player as it can be applied retroactively
Mar 23, 2016 at 7:29 AM - TeamTundra: Still can only be used once per year.
Mar 23, 2016 at 7:30 AM - tynimiller: I actually like that IR designation change.
Mar 23, 2016 at 7:38 AM - TeamTundra: Agree because under the current rule you are betting on that player being able to return. If the players injury is more serious than expected, you
Mar 23, 2016 at 7:39 AM - TeamTundra: Can't transfer it to another player under the current rule.
Mar 23, 2016 at 7:46 AM - TeamTundra: The touchback rule to the 25 yd line has passed for one year to be reviewed next year for permanent inclusion.
Mar 23, 2016 at 7:49 AM - TeamTundra: No change though for adding more play types to be covered under instant replay, such as pass interference or personal fouls.
Mar 23, 2016 at 12:09 PM - Ace: Miami interested in trading for a veteran RB. I wonder they'll call about Starks?
Mar 23, 2016 at 12:12 PM - adambr2: I would have think if they wanted to trade for him they would have just pursued him as a free agent.
Mar 23, 2016 at 12:13 PM - adambr2: have THOUGHT :)
Mar 23, 2016 at 12:15 PM - Ace: That's an excellent point Adam lol
Mar 23, 2016 at 1:17 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Rashad Jennings or another RBBC back
Mar 23, 2016 at 1:18 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Maybe Justin Forsett
Mar 23, 2016 at 1:18 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: DeAngelo Williams
Mar 23, 2016 at 3:55 PM - PackerDNA: Joe Garagiola died. He was 90.
Mar 23, 2016 at 5:05 PM - PackerDNA: Ken Howard- "The White Shadow"- has died at age 71.Semper Fi, Ken.

Mar 24, 2016 7:41 AM - El Guapo: I watched The White Shadow on Channel 18 in Milwaukee quite a bit
Mar 24, 2016 8:07 AM - PackerDNA: Great show, El Guapo, and cutting edge at the time.
Mar 24, 2016 8:33 AM - Ace: FWIW, Packers $13.2M under the cap still after Starks deal. Not sure if this has been mentioned or not
Mar 24, 2016 8:40 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Draft Class will chew up....maybe $9M?
Mar 24, 2016 8:42 AM - Poppa San: F>R draft class estimated in the $5m range at most sites I've seen.
Mar 24, 2016 8:43 AM - Poppa San: $5-7m carry into the season for IR replacements.
Mar 24, 2016 8:43 AM - Poppa San: Plus practice squad and change of count from 51 to 53 players.
Mar 24, 2016 8:43 AM - Ace: $9M?? Jesus who are you paying. Poppa I don't even think it's that much is it?
Mar 24, 2016 8:44 AM - Poppa San: Give it an hour or search the board but Wimm will be along soon to give the numbers.
Mar 24, 2016 8:46 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I'd rather estimate the worst and end up with good news.
Mar 24, 2016 8:46 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Hell we saw what TT paid Perry.
Mar 24, 2016 8:48 AM - Ace: IT's not a free for all for rookies anymore. Structured for the most part now
Mar 24, 2016 8:49 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I'm aware of that Ace, but agents are still going to try to get the best for their clients.
Mar 24, 2016 8:49 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Let's say they all cash in big as the worst case scenario.
Mar 24, 2016 8:49 AM - Ace: Not to the tune of $9M though

Mar 24, 2016 8:51 AM - Ace: According to this, our rookie draft class projects well below $5M is cap hits.
Mar 24, 2016 8:53 AM - Poppa San: SportTrac has about $6m but the top two take spots 52 & 53 which aren't accounted for.
Mar 24, 2016 8:54 AM - Poppa San: also every draftee replaces someone making the same or more. Roughly a zero sum game. Still need to account for them going into camp.
Mar 24, 2016 8:56 AM - Poppa San: 90 salaries accounted for going into camp. The closer the team is to 60 player salaries on Labor day, the healthier they are coming out of camp.
Mar 24, 2016 8:57 AM - Poppa San: 53 active roster, 7 practice squad.
Mar 24, 2016 9:00 AM - adambr2: There really isn't wiggle room for agents to try to get the most on rookie contracts. Not much at all anyway.
Mar 24, 2016 9:16 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: How many more days to the Draft?
Mar 24, 2016 9:18 AM - Ace: too many
Mar 24, 2016 9:26 AM - Ace: RG3 expected to sign with Browns today according to Schefter
Mar 24, 2016 9:28 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Good
Mar 24, 2016 9:34 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: McCown to hit trading block, there's our #3 QB
Mar 24, 2016 9:36 AM - Ace: lol
Mar 24, 2016 9:37 AM - Ace: Oh wait you're serious aren't you?
Mar 24, 2016 9:37 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Trade Janis for him
Mar 24, 2016 9:38 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: TT is going to draft a QB otherwise, so why waste a picK?
Mar 24, 2016 9:38 AM - Ace: Aren't you fearful of the firestorm that would come from even mentioning trading Jeff Janis?
Mar 24, 2016 9:38 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: We get a Vet QB on the roster and they get WR help which they need immensely. Done deal.
Mar 24, 2016 9:39 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: As you can tell I'm not in love with either him or Abbrederis
Mar 24, 2016 9:39 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Matter a fact, trade both for McCown and a 6th

Mar 24, 2016 at 9:51 AM - tynimiller: no
Mar 24, 2016 at 9:57 AM - SeahawkFan80: I thought practice squad moved up to 10 spots???
Mar 24, 2016 at 9:58 AM - SeahawkFan80: 30 plus or minus 4 days to the draft.
Mar 24, 2016 at 9:59 AM - SeahawkFan80: F to R, I dont think you know how this works...supposed to trade AR and 5th rounder for him. :p
Mar 24, 2016 at 10:02 AM - tynimiller: I say we trade Janis for a 6th round pick and McCown and then trade them that 6th and McCown back for Janis. :D
Mar 24, 2016 at 10:09 AM - Ace: Off topic, but what do you all think of Mike Mayock?
Mar 24, 2016 at 10:11 AM - Ace: I think the guy is a tool personally
Mar 24, 2016 at 10:27 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Mike Mayock or Todd McShay?
Mar 24, 2016 at 10:27 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Todd McShay just predicted the Packers take Butler 27th Overall
Mar 24, 2016 at 10:29 AM - Ace: Not a huge fan of McShay either. I've always been partial to Kiper myself. Mayock just talks and my ears start to bleed. Have to say after hearing Simms now every Thursday, I do miss him on TNF. Thank God the Packers aren't in the AFC because we'd get Simms ALOT
Mar 24, 2016 at 10:30 AM - adambr2: I don't get why you're always calling for the heads of Janis and Abbrederis F>R. Makes zero sense to me. They are solid #4/#5 WRs who make almost nothing in salary and have the potential to be much more, especially Janis. Janis could not play a single down on offense in 2016 and he would STILL be worth his meager salary just on his special teams contributions.
Mar 24, 2016 at 10:32 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I just feel like it's a waste of cap and roster space. We don't need more than 5 WRs on the roster. Why we keep stockpiling them I'll never know. This is the year that will decide their fates hopefully, Adams is in the pits so they need to rise to the occasion. If not TT needs to hand them their walking papers.
Mar 24, 2016 at 10:33 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: If you want to keep Janis as a special teamer than fine. List him as a Safety instead, if he can make all those plays then he most be able to understand a defense; hell he has to as a WR......
Mar 24, 2016 at 10:33 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: *must
Mar 24, 2016 at 10:36 AM - adambr2: Without those two I doubt we would have even been competitive in Arizona.
Mar 24, 2016 at 10:38 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I'll concede that, we took more injuries than I ever thought at WR. I would still take last year as an outlier as to what to expect in the future.
Mar 24, 2016 at 10:45 AM - Poppa San: F>R Janis and Abby together will be cheaper than Jones. Also both can do KR, Abby at PR and Janis at gunner. Just for minimum wage special team players, they are worth keeping. Jarret Bush made a career of it.
Mar 24, 2016 at 10:52 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I won't be satisfied until they produce or are gone.
Mar 24, 2016 at 10:52 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: And watch TT drafts yet another WR this year....
Mar 24, 2016 at 10:55 AM - Poppa San: Fairly safe bet. Probably hit camp with 12 or so WR's and 6 TE's, 4QB's.
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:04 AM - Einstein McFly: Lack of WR depth/development killed us this year. I sure hope TT drafts another one and picks up a few more undrafted guys. Janis is going to be on the team for a LONG time, and Abby...well, he'll probably get cut and clear to the practice squad.
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:07 AM - Poppa San: Lack of depth? Due to injuries, last game WR down to a street FA and #s 5&6 for most of the game and still went into OT.
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:08 AM - Poppa San: After tieing game up via the pass.
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:08 AM - CashInFist: I like the shoutbox alerts. Is that new?
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:09 AM - Ace: I think our "lack of WR depth" chatter is about as overblown as the "we need a LT" chatter
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:10 AM - Poppa San: Don't follow what you mean on alerts. Looks like it counts number of posters on shoutbox screen.
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:13 AM - Poppa San: Lack of depth at QB in 2013 ignores the #2 QB going out with injury in his first start. 3rd string was signed as a project after camp.
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:14 AM - Poppa San: Going INTO camp with 2 non-QB's was the problem, not the depth after.
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:16 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: We do need an LT
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:16 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Really I'd prefer a flexible RG
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:17 AM - Ace:
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:18 AM - Ace: We need a LT because you're afraid we won't resign Bahk?
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:18 AM - Ace: Because it better not be because he's not any good
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:19 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Lol....wouldn't you like to know?
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:19 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Bahktiari has shown some talent.

Mar 24, 2016 at 11:20 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I'm not 100% in his corner yet. But I do like him. But I would like some depth as he does get banged up.
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:21 AM - Ace: some talent? Come on, he's 24 and already a very good LT from a pass protection standpoint.
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:22 AM - Ace: Have to remember he played the entire year with a pulled tendon in his ankle and still played at a very high level
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:22 AM - Ace: pulled ligament whatever
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:22 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: He's done well for himself so far I'll admit.
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:23 AM - Ace: How would you rank our needs F>R? Top 5
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:25 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: DT, ILB, OL, TE, DE
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:29 AM - Ace: In order? I would agree for the most part. I think TE is higher but it probably won't get much better between now and the start of the season. I think a scat back type RB should be in there as well.
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:31 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: My 7 picks would be DT, ILB, OL, TE, DE, OL, LB
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:31 AM - CashInFist: Aaron Rodgers > Brett Favre. Are we still debating this? LOL
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:32 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Cash, until AR even appears in his 2nd Super Bowl, this argument is null and void.
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:33 AM - CashInFist: BS
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:33 AM - SeahawkFan80: I think you all should go for Qb, Qb, Qb, WR, WR, WR. Right Guard is found in the deoderant dept in the grocery store.
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:33 AM - CashInFist: Mechanics
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:33 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: But Ace I would swap DT and ILB around if necessary depending on who's available and where the position is sitting at in the Draft
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:34 AM - Ace: F>R be honest here, does your obvious love for Favre have anything to do with any sort of hatred towards Ted? lol
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:34 AM - CashInFist: 1) Dan Marino, 2) Aaron Rodgers, 3) Everybody else
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:34 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Ted is a scapegoat Ace, Murphy is the true enemy.
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:36 AM - Ace: Wow, I wasn't expecting to hear that as I absolutely agree. Ted took the heat for pretty much everything and had very little to actually do with it.

Mar 24, 2016 at 11:43 AM - Ace: THis might be the greatest throw I've ever seen. I could watch this throw all day it never gets old. The window he had to fit this one in is just incredible
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:44 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Favre never really had to sneak into the Playoffs Cash, and that's all I have to say about that.....
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:44 AM - tynimiller: So what I've learned in shoutbox is Janis is worth McCown and a 6th rounder, but is worthless and should be cut for cap space. Rodgers is far worse than Favre due to SB appearances (Bradshaw>Both AR and Favre then...) and that Bahk for a supremely young and injured last year tackle he's been "okay"
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:45 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Get your facts straight buddy, Janis and Abbrederis for McCown and a 6th
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:46 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Before we cut any player, a trade should always be attempted, it's sound judgement
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:46 AM - Ace: Well, I don't know about that F>R. I can remember sitting in the stands at Lambeau week 17 of 2003 I believe against Denver anxiously awaiting the end of the Minny Arizona game for the rights to the playoffs
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:46 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Bahktiari has been alright so far but I want another year out of him first.

Mar 24, 2016 at 11:47 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I never said we didn't Ace, but it wasn't an all too recent/familiar sight.
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:47 AM - Ace: Okay, just clarifying.
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:49 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I don't really love any of our OL other than Lang and Sitton
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:49 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Bulaga it depends on the day....
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:49 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Linsley is slowly getting into my good graces.
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:51 AM - Ace: When healthy Bulaga is fine. Problem is that seems to be rare nowadays and he's the highest paid RT in the NFL right now. Linsley is a very good player as well and should only get better
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:54 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Which is why I want a flexible OL
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:55 AM - Ace: I'm not disagreeing with a need for OL. I'm of and have been of the belief that the future G's are already on the team though. LT, C, and RT are in place for the forseeable future IMO (assuming we re-sign Bahk). Need quality depth
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:55 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Bahktiari and Bulaga get banged up the most, we need an OL who can fill in as well as maybe give Lang/Sitton some breaks.
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:56 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: We were spoiled with great linemen....what happened?
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:57 AM - Ace: were? I wouldn't say it's as good as it was in the Clifton Tauscher era but what we have now is nothing to shake a stick at
Mar 24, 2016 at 11:59 AM - Ace: I also have a hard time believing that you're going to find a better replacement for Bahk in the draft unless we use a high pick there and even then it's no guaratnee
Mar 24, 2016 at 12:00 PM - Ace: and trading for Joe Thomas is a pipe dream as much as it is realistic Ted would actually do it
Mar 24, 2016 at 12:01 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Winters, Dotson, Timmerman, Dotson, Clifton, Tauscher, Rivera, Wahle, Flanagan......
Mar 24, 2016 at 12:03 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Why Bob? How could you leave us in the hands of ineptitude?
Mar 24, 2016 at 12:08 PM - tynimiller: Our OL when healthy is top 10 without even hesitating...one could argue higher. Linsley I hope is a Packer for 2 more contracts.
Mar 24, 2016 at 12:32 PM - longtimefan: Favre never had to sneak in the playoffs??
Mar 24, 2016 at 12:34 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: *Sigh* Here we go...
Mar 24, 2016 at 12:48 PM - longtimefan: Wait... You ^ brought up favre? Now your having issues with some one that just saw it?
Mar 24, 2016 at 12:53 PM - longtimefan: I really don't care if some one is a fan or not... But don't be biased.. Let facts be facts... Favre didn't do lose by him self and he didn't want by himself
Mar 24, 2016 at 1:09 PM - adambr2: Our 2014 line was probably better than any line we had since the late 90s
Mar 24, 2016 at 1:09 PM - Vltrophy: RGIII is now a Brown
Mar 24, 2016 at 1:10 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Packers vs Browns in the SB
Mar 24, 2016 at 1:12 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: longtime I'll always be biased despite the facts
Mar 24, 2016 at 1:12 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: #1 - Favre #2 Starr #3 Rodgers
Mar 24, 2016 at 1:13 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Nobody's perfect :-P
Mar 24, 2016 at 1:31 PM - Ace: I don't know about that adam, I think it's easy to forget how good those late 90's early 2000's lines were. Clifton/Wahle/Flannagan/Rivera/Tauscher were beastly
Mar 24, 2016 at 2:06 PM - tynimiller: No offense but coming from the Notre fan base and the Cub fan base.....I cannot stand bias fans when discussing decisions or facts on a team. ND fan base is the worst and best fan base due to this..
Mar 24, 2016 at 2:10 PM - Vrill: Roll Tide! ;)
Mar 24, 2016 at 2:19 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Chomp Chomp!!!!
Mar 24, 2016 at 2:46 PM - Jz3: Bulaga was a dumb signing. But TT throws money at almost every player he drafts.
Mar 24, 2016 at 2:46 PM - Jz3: If TT drafts you then you are extra special.
Mar 24, 2016 at 3:08 PM - Vltrophy: Garry shandling dead at 66
Mar 24, 2016 at 3:16 PM - adambr2: Almost everyone on the planet thought Bulaga was a good signing and a discount when we locked him up.

Mar 24, 2016 at 6:01 PM - 7thFloorRA: I'd rather have Johnny back. Johnny's teammates actually seemed to like him. RG3 has got to be the biggest dbag in the world for the Redskins locker room to universally despise him.

Mar 28, 2016 6:05 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Jared Cook may be a Packer by the end of the day? http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...d-cook-in-green-bay-set-to-sign-with-packers/
Mar 28, 2016 6:17 AM - Joe2887: Jared Cook seen in Green Bay. People may not like this signing but I think this TE Duo is going to do big things this year. Richard Rodgers + Jared Cook. Not Gronk/Bennet but with Jordy, Cobb and Adams on the outsides and Lacy back to non-cheeseburger form.. This should be a scary offense.
Mar 28, 2016 6:19 AM - tynimiller: Cook to sign....great news!
Mar 28, 2016 6:21 AM - Green and Gold: I'm all for a cheap Jared Cook signing.
Mar 28, 2016 6:22 AM - Green and Gold: He can stretch the field, a huge area of need.
Mar 28, 2016 6:52 AM - tynimiller: He is everything on paper we were missing at TE, him and RR make a solid combo deal. Cook motivated to prove himself and AR his QB...could be good.
Mar 28, 2016 7:48 AM - 4zone: Economical upgrade. Meets immediate need. Low cost. We just got better.
Mar 28, 2016 8:10 AM - Wynnebeck: Packers to win Super Bowl 51 now lol
Mar 28, 2016 9:00 AM - tynimiller: Wynnebeck, it does make them more viable for that, but lot can change...as we all know.
Mar 28, 2016 9:07 AM - Wynnebeck: I like to remain optimistic. Also it's funny seeing the amount of people shocked that TT actually signed a FA lol.
Mar 28, 2016 9:09 AM - tynimiller: it is right up his ally really....don't be shocked if he is successful we sign Cook to a 2 or 3 year deal...alot to me on that is controlled by whether TT feels we can move on from both Sitton and Lang
Mar 28, 2016 9:40 AM - Jz3: Cook is a low risk high reward signing. Wish TT did this more.
Mar 28, 2016 10:12 AM - bigbubbatd: I have no idea why people would be against this move. Cheap, low risk, position of need, decent upside, can move on easily if he doesnt work out. I feel like some people just want a reason to complain
Mar 28, 2016 10:13 AM - azrsx05: 1 years,$3.6 mil. I would've liked to seen this be a multiple year contract
Mar 28, 2016 11:21 AM - Poppa San: Bubba, I haven't seen narely a peep of complaints about Cook signing
Mar 28, 2016 11:29 AM - tynimiller: Worst case it's 1 year and bye bye it was Cook not his teams for sub par numbers...best case he makes TT give him a 2 or 3 year extended contract next season.

Mar 29, 2016 11:18 AM - tynimiller: Shoutbox will die where it is now...
Mar 29, 2016 12:17 PM - azrsx05: I agree. This shoutbox sucks

Mar 29, 2016 1:25 PM - longtimefan: Just make it as a short cut
Mar 29, 2016 6:34 PM - 4zone: Doesn't appear many folks can find the shoutbox now. Took me a while to figure out it wasn't a faulty browser and got moved on me. My vote is put back up front (if votes matter)
Mar 29, 2016 6:35 PM - 4zone: Since I have found it. TT, good move on Cook. A Packer friendly deal and it's encouraging guys are attracted to the Pack and the potential we have year after year to bring Lombardi back home again.
Mar 29, 2016 7:19 PM - 7thFloorRA: Why did it change? It seems like the same shoutbox, just inverted and buried on another page.
Mar 29, 2016 8:29 PM - longtimefan: Rob explained it in the announcement section
Mar 29, 2016 8:30 PM - longtimefan: I was testing moving it to it's own page. I was going to change the tab name to "Chat" since that is pretty much what it is. And with it being on its own page, I can increase the refresh rate. I know there are a lot of people not 100% into it right now, but I wanted to see if it could grow on members, haha.
Mar 29, 2016 8:31 PM - longtimefan: It is same... I think he could change the flow to the old way.... But if it helps with lag that is a plus

Mar 30, 2016 at 10:22 AM - Mondio: i must really not have spent much time here, I can't notice hardly anything different other than it reads newest at the top? BTW, i did prefer the latest at the bottom, so if I did read, I could read down and catch the gist of the conversation. Reading up seems weird :)
Mar 30, 2016 at 1:18 PM - 4zone: Would be nice back on the front page. But now that I know where it is, no problem. Like the new to top read layout.

Mar 30, 2016 at 1:50 PM - Mondio: and I was the lucky winner of the HHCD picture with another signed Nick Collins 8x10 (INT returned for TD in superbowl)
Mar 30, 2016 at 1:51 PM - Mondio: so if I can win more, i say lets have more contests :)
Mar 30, 2016 at 1:58 PM - The program 61: hey thats awesome mondio who offered it up do you know
Mar 30, 2016 at 5:05 PM - Vltrophy: I thought the shout box was down & being worked on for some me reason so I msg'ed buggy & then saw a reply from LTF
Mar 30, 2016 at 5:06 PM - Vltrophy: I think it's better back on front page myself.
Mar 30, 2016 at 5:08 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: I motion for a referendum for a subsequent motion for a vote on the floor to return the shoutbox to its original and rightful position.

Mar 31, 2016 5:28 AM - tynimiller: Going to bundle that motion in with a trade with Janis and Adams for a 1st rounder in the draft? lol
Mar 31, 2016 10:59 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Funny....
Mar 31, 2016 2:56 PM - SeahawkFan80: Oh geeze....more pork in that referendum even before it gets off the ground....steak.
Mar 31, 2016 3:10 PM - Mondio: @The program 61- Legends of the Field supplied the prizes. Very nice, authenticated and signed 8x10's. The Nick Collins was an unexpected surprise for sure.
Mar 31, 2016 3:38 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: woah chat got upside down now
Mar 31, 2016 8:15 PM - longtimefan: Legends of the field has been giving at least one 8 x10 every season for last 6 or 7 years?

Mar 31, 2016 10:13 PM - Jz3: Wow I am at my office in Lambeau as we speak and the place is going nuts.
Mar 31, 2016 10:14 PM - Jz3: Chatter is Rodgers is going to shock the sports world and announce his retirement tomorrow.
Mar 31, 2016 10:15 PM - Jz3: I never seen so many people here this late.
Mar 31, 2016 10:33 PM - Pokerbrat2000: http://www.gridironalumni.com/about...log/91-aaron-rodgers-stuns-world-i-m-retiring
Mar 31, 2016 10:33 PM - Pokerbrat2000: was fun while it lasted.....we will miss AR
Apr 1, 2016 6:08 AM - Vltrophy: Yes we will truly miss u Rodgers
Apr 1, 2016 7:13 AM - 7thFloorRA: worst day ever. can we have leap year every year and then make up for it by skipping april 1st
Apr 1, 2016 7:26 AM - Ace: Someone tell me why I shouldn't be in love with Billings because I can't find a reason why
Apr 1, 2016 7:39 AM - tynimiller: rumor has it F>R is looking like a genius as the Packers have traded Hundley and Janis and gotten 1st rounders for the next 4 years back in return for them from the Browns.
Apr 1, 2016 7:39 AM - tynimiller: :)
Apr 1, 2016 8:02 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Three years from now when they are on the street you all will be licking the salt off my balls. :-P
Apr 1, 2016 8:02 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: And I've never bickered about Hundley.
Apr 1, 2016 8:07 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I like him actually. But I wouldn't mind a veteran in the mix. Maybe a.....Tavaris Jackson?
Apr 1, 2016 8:16 AM - tynimiller: :D Just busting your chops. I don't think Janis will be on the streets in 3 years...perhaps walking them from time to time either in GB or another city in the off season though.
Apr 1, 2016 8:29 AM - SeahawkFan80: This is one day that would be better spent fishing.....if the fish dont know it is april fools day that is.
Apr 1, 2016 9:37 AM - Vltrophy: Tavares Jackson as our backup. Now that is a joke
Apr 1, 2016 9:58 AM - tynimiller: I'd rather have Hassleback if we must bring a vet in :D Have Al Harris come take passes from him.
Apr 1, 2016 5:06 PM - The program 61: my friend said he heard rumor of jets trading for hundley for a 4th would anyone accept that trade?
Apr 1, 2016 5:55 PM - Vltrophy: Nope. No trade
Apr 1, 2016 5:56 PM - Vltrophy: Lions sign RB Steven Ridley
Apr 1, 2016 5:56 PM - Vltrophy: If the rumor is true
Apr 1, 2016 6:03 PM - SeahawkFan80: VLtrophy........ouch.

Apr 2, 2016 4:45 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Hundley for a 4th and a 6th for next year. That's a good trade.
Apr 2, 2016 4:46 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Do the Jets not want to see what they have in Petty first? Has he played a single snap?
Apr 2, 2016 5:30 AM - Poppa San: Hundley and a second or third for Wilkerson. Is the Jets brain trust more astute than Ron Wolf? He got hoodwinked into giving up a first for Atlanta's 3rd string 1st year QB.
Apr 2, 2016 12:16 PM - Vltrophy: We trade Hundley we have no backup for AR. Hopefully we won't need Hundley to play unless we're kicking butt & give AR a break
Apr 2, 2016 1:18 PM - Green and Gold: Best of luck in KC Mulumba.
Apr 2, 2016 4:00 PM - Vltrophy: Krapperneck supposedly headed to Denver

Apr 3, 2016 at 6:25 AM - 7thFloorRA: KC loves failed packer lb's. Zombo still plays there
Apr 3, 2016 at 9:17 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I gotta give Kaep and his agent credit, he's going to a Super Bowl team and he's making the enormous salary 49ers paid him.
Apr 3, 2016 at 9:18 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Donte Whitner released by Browns
Apr 3, 2016 at 12:58 PM - Vltrophy: Krapperneck is going to have to redo his contract according to the article
Apr 3, 2016 at 1:28 PM - The program 61: anyone know of any wwe forums as nice as ours
Apr 3, 2016 at 4:11 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Kaep isn't going to though, the only way he redoes his contract is if he's cut or released. He's trying to have his cake and eat it too.
Apr 3, 2016 at 4:12 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: He's trying to force SF to either cut/release him, or pay him all that money to ride the pine. I hope Elway fully understands what he's getting into.
Apr 3, 2016 at 4:30 PM - Vltrophy: The trade will take place IF the 49ers pay $4.9M as the Broncos are willing to pay $7M
Apr 3, 2016 at 6:29 PM - longtimefan: Another osu football player in trouble http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...n NBC&utm_tags=srm[college football,football]

Apr 4, 2016 11:26 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Broncos back out of Kaep trade. Kaep also showed up to Offseason Workouts....receives a 400k bonus if he goes to 90% of them.
Apr 4, 2016 11:28 AM - SeahawkFan80: But does he really have to work out? I mean, can he just go and get a beer?
Apr 4, 2016 11:28 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Somewhere in Kansas City Alex Smith and Andy Reid are laughing themselves to tears
Apr 4, 2016 11:29 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: You know how it is with some athletes, they get workout bonuses to come to off season conditioning.
Apr 4, 2016 11:29 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Lacy needs to get that after his rookie contract lol.
Apr 4, 2016 11:33 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Kaep is trying to find a starting job, and still make the money for the 49ers assumed he was worth. Only 1 of those 2 will happen.
Apr 4, 2016 11:34 AM - SeahawkFan80: Yep. Kaep actually did a great deal with the nIners. He played the game and is gonna play it til he is done. Gotta give him and his agent props for that.
Apr 4, 2016 2:11 PM - Vltrophy: Brewers suck today. 3 HRs back to back to back. One of them a 3 run homer. 12-3 top of 8th
Apr 4, 2016 2:13 PM - Ace: It's going to get much worse before it gets better for the Crew.
Apr 4, 2016 4:15 PM - desertdog55: Brewers have the lowest payroll in baseball. The city may lose them in a few years if someone doesn't take control of that team. Seems like they are always "rebuilding".....it's not gonna cut it nowadays.....
Apr 4, 2016 4:31 PM - Favre>Rodgers259: Brewers Skewers, let's talk about The Pack!

Apr 5, 2016 6:19 AM - Poppa San: Last day of work after 29 years here. Start new job next Monday.
Apr 5, 2016 6:22 AM - Green and Gold: GB would be a great place to help Noah Spence get on the right path.
Apr 5, 2016 6:23 AM - Ace: I agree but if it's down to Spence and Billings, Reed or another DLineman; I'm not thinking twice if I'm Ted
Apr 5, 2016 6:42 AM - Poppa San: Ace: I'm not thinking I'm Ted either, even once lt alone twice.
Apr 5, 2016 6:46 AM - Ace: DLine is BY FAR the biggest need on this team now. It has to be addressed early and often
Apr 5, 2016 6:47 AM - Ace: It may have been even before Raji abruptly departed but now it absolutely is
Apr 5, 2016 8:11 AM - tynimiller: I sense a DL was in the first 2 days of draft thoughts by TT and Co already...Cook signing frees up the restraints somewhat and enhances that even more
Apr 5, 2016 8:23 AM - Ace: Well if it isn't DLine it better be ILB that's all I have to say
Apr 5, 2016 8:24 AM - tynimiller: I concur...but I don't see an ILB I like dropping to us...I bet best pick at our pick will be a DL...and we'll go ILB on 2nd day.
Apr 5, 2016 8:25 AM - Ace: To be perfectly honest, I'd be fine if he took 4 DLineman in this draft lol
Apr 5, 2016 8:36 AM - tynimiller: Honestly I foresee 2 drafted and 1 or 2 UDFA brought in...so 4 isn't an overstatement...however lot of people high on Ringo...I hope he has grown
Apr 5, 2016 11:21 AM - The program 61: good luck poppa san
Apr 5, 2016 11:22 AM - The program 61: I pray for andrew billings been big about him all year before end of the nfl season
Apr 5, 2016 11:56 AM - Ace: YES YES YES. Billings
Apr 5, 2016 12:42 PM - Wynnebeck: Honestly between Spence and Billings, I would go Spence if he dropped that low. DL is deep this year and we could just as easily get a good guy in R2 or R3 than R1.
Apr 5, 2016 1:08 PM - Ace: Have you looked at the current status of the DLine for the Packers? It's laughably bad (and thin)
Apr 5, 2016 1:08 PM - Ace: I understand it's supposedly a deep draft for DLine but Billings is an absolute beast
Apr 5, 2016 3:15 PM - Green and Gold: Any volunteers? http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com...ame-show-looking-rodgers-super-fans/82649842/

Apr 6, 2016 11:10 AM - Eli Haugen: THERES the shoutbox!?!?!?!? lost it. lol
Apr 6, 2016 11:16 AM - Vltrophy: Billings for sure. If there's a beast available take him
Apr 6, 2016 11:20 AM - Eli Haugen: The whole top tier of DL is sweet. Couple dominant 300 pound DEs out of our reach. before people even consider starting on the 4 or 5 interior linemen.
Apr 6, 2016 11:58 AM - PackerDNA: OT... Merle Haggard died today, his 79th birthday.

Apr 7, 2016 5:02 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Just discovered the Draft Talk Forum. Way too many threads, seems like everyone is all over the place....don't mind me I'm just ranting.
Apr 7, 2016 6:33 AM - SeahawkFan80: Seems like our draft forum is also kinda mixed in what we want and what we need. A lot of what do we draft in the first round...he he he ...we draft nothing in the first round. We trade down for the next best whatever is available and change him to offensive line.
Apr 7, 2016 10:01 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: It's like there's a thread on every single player someone wants drafted. I feel like they should just have 7-9 threads.
Apr 7, 2016 10:01 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: One for each round and then one for the UDFA people.
Apr 7, 2016 10:04 AM - tynimiller: You think that forum is messed up you should hear what some people want to do trade wise or trade value of some of our or 3rd tier players :D
Apr 7, 2016 10:06 AM - SeahawkFan80: Farve, I am with you...should be one for each of the following....oline, dline, dbs, special teams, and of course since AR left on april first....qbs. LOL
Apr 7, 2016 10:49 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: I can't believe some toolbag wants a WR at #27
Apr 7, 2016 10:51 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: Miller: What I would like is we take #27, Janis, Abbrederis, and a 4th and see if we can move up to 20-24
Apr 7, 2016 10:52 AM - Favre>Rodgers259: We NEED Ragland, everyone else is a reach. Billings, Spence, Jones....they all could be available as late as the 3rd, and we wanna take them at 27? If that's the case let's just trade down.
