7thFloorRA: I thought he was really nervous and needed to have a few
Jul 18, 2015 at 11:25 PM -
7thFloorRA: I really enjoyed that. Brett used that platform to pretty much tell everyone that surrounded him during his playing days how much he appreciated them.

longtimefan: i am very ok with the hatchet buried now...when he was in the bowl, maybe allude how sorry he was it went it way it did....but its okay with me..and you all know I had major issues
Jul 19, 2015 at 4:04 AM -
Zartan: I would of hoped the fans burried the hatchet by now.
Jul 19, 2015 at 4:04 AM -
longtimefan: he started to say something at the end speech but kind of went away form it
Jul 19, 2015 at 4:20 AM -
weeds: panocha? I had NO idea...hahahaha... OK...that's funny. Blew right over my head because I don't speak Spanish. I've always been a fan of locker room humor.

weeds: LT, regarding the hatchet being buried? Man, I moved on the day Favre announced his retirement -- and I wasn't sure that Rodgers was going to be the player that he is. Speaking of "moving on", I don't recall Favre mentioning Ted Thompson's name though. Maybe he did and I was taking the dog out and I missed it.

buggybill2003: that was a thing I thought too weeds
Jul 19, 2015 at 4:40 AM -
yooperpackfan: 67,000 PACKERS FANS crowded into Lambeau Field to see and hear Brett Favre on this historic day.
Jul 19, 2015 at 5:07 AM -
longtimefan: i dont think he mentioned Ted at all...Camera showed Ted who was in the middle of the room...
Jul 19, 2015 at 5:07 AM -
longtimefan: wait....he did mentioned Ted
Jul 19, 2015 at 5:08 AM -
longtimefan: He talked about his mother in law and how she knew more about football then most people....And said SHE thinks she could do Ron's or Ted's job
Jul 19, 2015 at 5:09 AM -
longtimefan: panocha IS FUNNY-----but it was a national prodcast, seen by millions..Would it be allowed to be said on the oscars, or grammys?
Jul 19, 2015 at 6:31 AM -
Vrill: honestly, Brett left no stone unturned with his speech. He mentioned everyone. I was impressed. I was even more impressed with all of his old Packer teammates that were there.
Jul 19, 2015 at 7:40 AM -
7thFloorRA: Did he have a telepromtor? It didn't look like it but to remember that many names...down to the grounds crew is remarkable.

Green and Gold: So much nostalgia.
Jul 19, 2015 at 9:07 AM -
Ogsponge: I think he really did that on that fly, did not write anything at all, just frankly spoke his thoughts on everything
Jul 19, 2015 at 9:33 AM -
lambeaulambo: the tt omission was noteworthy
Jul 19, 2015 at 9:59 AM -
Aaron Rodgers 12: Everything was from the heart, and it was such an emotional event.
Jul 19, 2015 at 10:04 AM -
lambeaulambo: do not count on such a positive response at lambeau in november
Jul 19, 2015 at 10:38 AM -
adambr2: I think it'll be similar. Perhaps a couple boos barely audible but overwhelmingly positive again.

AKCheese: You get 60,000+ and a bunch of beer, there will always be some jerks
Jul 19, 2015 at 11:45 AM -
Pokerbrat2000: Personally I would be shocked if in November Favre gets any different of a reception, but harbored bitterness over a lost love can always stir up some surprising emotions
Jul 19, 2015 at 11:48 AM -
Ogsponge: He will get the same response, the only people that hate Favre are grumpy old internet men and grumpy internet posters
Jul 19, 2015 at 12:30 PM -
Pokerbrat2000: LOL kind of have to agree with you Ogsponge
Jul 19, 2015 at 12:57 PM -

PackerfaninCarolina: I won't lie there were some games I saw of him that we lost that we had no business losing that made me so mad I almost wanted to break the TV set, but there were times the opposite was true thanks to this man
Jul 19, 2015 at 1:45 PM -
Zartan: If you still hold massive hate for the man thats not Healthy
Jul 19, 2015 at 1:49 PM -
PackerfaninCarolina: Nope, those last days of his career shouldn't erase 16 years of building up what we had. 17 of the last 23 years we've made the playoffs, not a lot of teams can say that, and even if not all, a good bit of that is owed to Brett
Jul 19, 2015 at 2:25 PM -
Ogsponge: I would like to state for the record that my comments were more meant to say that I think the people who "despise" Favre are massively outnumbered by the people that appreciate everything he did for the Packers. It does not meant either side is right or wrong. I simply certain more way more Packer fans remember Favre fondly than they do with disdain.
Jul 19, 2015 at 2:25 PM -
Ogsponge: and I types reals good to...
Jul 19, 2015 at 2:28 PM -
Dan115: players and coaches come and go it is the fans who stay forever. I was mad at Lombardi when he went to the skins
