Jun 28, 2015 at 11:01 AM - Aaron Rodgers 12: I'd like the Packers to get a Darren Sproles or Danny Woodhead back, to add into the mix
Jun 28, 2015 at 12:16 PM - Pokerbrat2000: When needed, they can put Cobb in the backfield to fill that type of roll. John Crockett excites me at RB
Jun 28, 2015 at 2:47 PM - Vrill: ^
Jun 28, 2015 at 4:18 PM - Poppa San: Just spent 11 days building a 20X12 deck onto my house. Got to use ALL of my power toys except the generator
Jun 28, 2015 at 4:18 PM - Poppa San: Plus bought a new hammer drill to anchor through the brick.
Jun 28, 2015 at 4:19 PM - Poppa San: Plus the tools my employer loaned me without their knowledge.
Jun 28, 2015 at 4:22 PM - Poppa San: Need some trim and electrical work yet. Plus landscaping.
Jun 28, 2015 at 4:23 PM - Poppa San: Skid steers do a number on lawn turf, especially after an inch of rain.
Jun 28, 2015 at 5:53 PM - Green and Gold: Toughest games are most likely Seattle and Dallas?

Jun 29, 2015 7:50 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Depending on how the season goes, I see the game at Arizona on 12/27 potentially being a HUGE one for home field advantage in the playoffs.
Jun 29, 2015 9:21 AM - Green and Gold: I can see that being a huge game but I think AZ is much less dangerous at home than the Seahawks.
Jun 29, 2015 9:24 AM - Green and Gold: Then again flashback to the last time the Packers played a playoff game at Arizona...
Jun 29, 2015 10:28 AM - Pokerbrat2000: If AZ has a healthy quality QB this year, they are going to be tough.
Jun 29, 2015 10:38 AM - Green and Gold: I'm more worried of MIN than DET this year.
Jun 29, 2015 10:39 AM - Green and Gold: They should be pretty dangerous this year.
Jun 29, 2015 11:51 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Lions and Vikings and Bears.....oh my....Lions and Vikings and Bears...oh my.......same story every year...just keep your eyes on the Yellow Brick Rd. that leads to the Emerald City (Levi Stadium) and the others will tail behind us....

Jun 30, 2015 4:42 AM - Vrill: Just give Cutler a Winston. He'll be fine after a loss.
Jun 30, 2015 4:56 AM - Dan115: I love Jay

Jul 1, 2015 4:17 PM - Jdeed: Please overlook Detroit ;) no one good to see here. :D
Jul 1, 2015 4:18 PM - Jdeed: Anyhow I think some of the toughest games this year will be against the North for GB. With Peterson back automatic tough game. Detroit will not be a push over just because Suh is gone. I love the fact we don't play in GB last this year. :p
Jul 1, 2015 6:24 PM - adambr2: I'd say 5-1 in the division is likely but 4-2 is possible.
Jul 1, 2015 6:26 PM - adambr2: No one is overlooking Detroit. That's often a split. It also helps that you guys get to have one of your 'road' games on a neutral field every year for some reason.
Jul 1, 2015 6:27 PM - adambr2: Playing the Chiefs at Arrowhead vs playing them in London isn't even close to the same thing.

Jul 1, 2015 10:13 PM - Green and Gold: Hundley will get better and he'll be our 3rd QB. Blanchard is a camp arm?
Jul 2, 2015 4:35 AM - Vrill: Lions D will be a lot less menacing after losing most of their DL. Their pass rush will be a lot weaker....
Jul 2, 2015 8:41 AM - Twiddlemylobes: I think the Lions will be hard pressed to regain their 2014 presence. Suh was a large part of their D success. Many of us don't like the guy personally, but the fact remains he is a dominant force to play against. I think the overall offseason changes favor GB slightly and we were already favored regardless of Suh's arrival at the Florida Hub
Jul 2, 2015 8:50 AM - Twiddlemylobes: T Bridewater is an ascending force. Add a pro bowl RB and it could be argued that the 2 most important positions in MN just gained momentum. The Vikes will finish over .500 and capable of being a thorn in our division
Jul 2, 2015 3:33 PM - Poppa San: Sounds like the Vikings are again the off season SB champs.
Jul 2, 2015 5:12 PM - yooperpackfan: It's simply amazing the Vikes don't own a Lombardi Trophy. But there's always next year for them.

Jul 2, 2015 9:59 PM - Twiddlemylobes: :whistling:
Jul 3, 2015 11:34 AM - Aaron Rodgers 12: I'm really hoping someone can record that Brett Favre "One O A Kind" special and post in on YouTube or something
Jul 3, 2015 3:48 PM - BearDroppings: Yeah they are hyping up Bridgewater over there. By all means he is talented but still they are offseason champs.

Jul 4, 2015 11:22 AM - adambr2: What a dummy.
Jul 4, 2015 11:25 AM - dbain21: Seriously Quarless?
Jul 4, 2015 11:35 AM - Green and Gold: Richard Rodgers better be the real deal.
Jul 4, 2015 12:20 PM - Vltrophy: What a moron. He'll be in jail until Monday when he's arrained.
Jul 4, 2015 12:22 PM - Vltrophy: Packers will likely keep 3 QBs on the active roster. Put Hundly on the ps & someone will grab him
Jul 4, 2015 12:25 PM - Vltrophy: Went to see Ted 4x when it came out. Totally hilarious. Went to see Ted 2 Friday & it was ok. If I had a 16 yr old daughter I wouldn't let her watch it.
Jul 4, 2015 6:48 PM - Poppa San: Sitting downtown GB right now with about 100 thousand others.

Jul 4, 2015 9:33 PM - Aaron Rodgers 12: The Pack should release Quarrels after such a bad incident like this, and the guy has nerve to have a tattoo on each arm that spells out GOD'S GIFT
Jul 4, 2015 10:36 PM - Twiddlemylobes: There's a simple explaination. Independence Day and packing heat in Miami. It was obviously a celebratory act of firing 4 shots for the 4th and the retirement of #4.
Jul 5, 2015 3:22 AM - Jdeed: Bad Boys.... Bad boys.... Watcha Goona Do......
Jul 5, 2015 5:56 AM - weeds: Cut his sorry *** NOW. Make it clean and painless to everyone but him. Sweet tap dancing Jesus these guys are morons.

Jul 5, 2015 9:01 PM - 7thFloorRA: TT has to drop the hammer. Way too many off season issues. See ya Quarless. For the record...he changed his tats to God's Gifts to celebrate his children
Jul 6, 2015 9:34 AM - Aaron Rodgers 12: I was never a Quarrels fan and now I am even less of one. I really hope we send him packing (pun intended)
Jul 6, 2015 5:36 PM - TeamTundra: Packers are keeping Quarless according to report.
Jul 6, 2015 5:41 PM - Powarun: Thing is who would be our second TE if we cut Quarless, I just know of Rodgers and Bostick and Bostick was shown the door
Jul 6, 2015 6:11 PM - Aaron Rodgers 12: They drafted a TE in the 6th round, Kennard Backman
Jul 6, 2015 6:21 PM - 7thFloorRA: perillo and that new fb could get some reps. Quarless lined up as an h-back or fullback as much as he did a TE.

Jul 11, 2015 at 12:18 AM - Twiddlemylobes: If you were gonna get to pick 1 player from any team currently in the NFL I can't imagine someone passing on Rodgers.. he is severely underrated coming in behind any non-QB position
Jul 11, 2015 at 11:21 AM - adambr2: 1 player, I could see some teams taking Luck, but that's only because of the age differential and upside with Luck. Rodgers is still better right now.

Jul 14, 2015 4:05 PM - adambr2: I'm not saying Luck is better now. He isn't. Just saying if a GM had to start a franchise from scratch today and can pick any one NFL player to start with I could see some choosing Luck.
Jul 14, 2015 7:56 PM - Arodgers12: Where is Summer folks? It never came this year and almost over. Oh well excited for football!

Jul 18, 2015 8:09 AM - Green and Gold: Favre's induction ceremony will be carried live by the Packers TV Network and NFL Network as well as streamed live on packers.com.
Jul 18, 2015 9:01 AM - adambr2: Watching the Packers/Raiders game after Favre's dad died. Was Longwell's leg really THIS weak? Every kickoff I see landing between the 15-20 and you may as well start them out right on the 35.
Jul 18, 2015 10:40 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: remember, until kickoffs moved up to the 35 yardline, a lot of kicks landed short of the goal line, but yeah Longwell did not have a very strong leg
Jul 18, 2015 10:55 AM - PackerfaninCarolina: I had always thought it had sucked we had let Craig Hentrich go for that very reason, that guy could really boot it on kickoffs
Jul 18, 2015 4:34 PM - weeds: can't hear any boos....
Jul 18, 2015 4:42 PM - Carl: Welcome back Favre!
Jul 18, 2015 5:02 PM - longtimefan: He should have said..Im here to announce im playing one more year..

Jul 18, 2015 5:22 PM - longtimefan: Will it be the same during the actual game? Were these just the Brett fans? Or is the hatchet truly buried
Jul 18, 2015 6:09 PM - weeds: well, i can't speak for.the metro milwaukee area...or the guys who live elsewhere but voice their opinion repeatedly on the net...I just don't hear the animosity up here.
Jul 18, 2015 6:09 PM - longtimefan: and thats what I feel now...You know I have had huge issues with Brett..but im fine now with him
Jul 18, 2015 6:14 PM - Ogsponge: what this has shown me is what I have always known...true packer fans are a class act.
Jul 18, 2015 6:23 PM - lambeaulambo: this may be the worst beginning coverage I have ever seen

Jul 18, 2015 at 11:24 PM - 7thFloorRA: I thought he was really nervous and needed to have a few
Jul 18, 2015 at 11:25 PM - 7thFloorRA: I really enjoyed that. Brett used that platform to pretty much tell everyone that surrounded him during his playing days how much he appreciated them.
Jul 19, 2015 at 4:04 AM - longtimefan: i am very ok with the hatchet buried now...when he was in the bowl, maybe allude how sorry he was it went it way it did....but its okay with me..and you all know I had major issues
Jul 19, 2015 at 4:04 AM - Zartan: I would of hoped the fans burried the hatchet by now.
Jul 19, 2015 at 4:04 AM - longtimefan: he started to say something at the end speech but kind of went away form it
Jul 19, 2015 at 4:20 AM - weeds: panocha? I had NO idea...hahahaha... OK...that's funny. Blew right over my head because I don't speak Spanish. I've always been a fan of locker room humor.
Jul 19, 2015 at 4:23 AM - weeds: LT, regarding the hatchet being buried? Man, I moved on the day Favre announced his retirement -- and I wasn't sure that Rodgers was going to be the player that he is. Speaking of "moving on", I don't recall Favre mentioning Ted Thompson's name though. Maybe he did and I was taking the dog out and I missed it.
Jul 19, 2015 at 4:39 AM - buggybill2003: that was a thing I thought too weeds
Jul 19, 2015 at 4:40 AM - yooperpackfan: 67,000 PACKERS FANS crowded into Lambeau Field to see and hear Brett Favre on this historic day.
Jul 19, 2015 at 5:07 AM - longtimefan: i dont think he mentioned Ted at all...Camera showed Ted who was in the middle of the room...
Jul 19, 2015 at 5:07 AM - longtimefan: wait....he did mentioned Ted
Jul 19, 2015 at 5:08 AM - longtimefan: He talked about his mother in law and how she knew more about football then most people....And said SHE thinks she could do Ron's or Ted's job
Jul 19, 2015 at 5:09 AM - longtimefan: panocha IS FUNNY-----but it was a national prodcast, seen by millions..Would it be allowed to be said on the oscars, or grammys?
Jul 19, 2015 at 6:31 AM - Vrill: honestly, Brett left no stone unturned with his speech. He mentioned everyone. I was impressed. I was even more impressed with all of his old Packer teammates that were there.
Jul 19, 2015 at 7:40 AM - 7thFloorRA: Did he have a telepromtor? It didn't look like it but to remember that many names...down to the grounds crew is remarkable.
Jul 19, 2015 at 7:45 AM - Green and Gold: Not one boo heard. :)
Jul 19, 2015 at 7:46 AM - Green and Gold: So much nostalgia.
Jul 19, 2015 at 9:07 AM - Ogsponge: I think he really did that on that fly, did not write anything at all, just frankly spoke his thoughts on everything
Jul 19, 2015 at 9:33 AM - lambeaulambo: the tt omission was noteworthy
Jul 19, 2015 at 9:59 AM - Aaron Rodgers 12: Everything was from the heart, and it was such an emotional event.
Jul 19, 2015 at 10:04 AM - lambeaulambo: do not count on such a positive response at lambeau in november
Jul 19, 2015 at 10:38 AM - adambr2: I think it'll be similar. Perhaps a couple boos barely audible but overwhelmingly positive again.
Jul 19, 2015 at 10:45 AM - AKCheese: You get 60,000+ and a bunch of beer, there will always be some jerks
Jul 19, 2015 at 11:45 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Personally I would be shocked if in November Favre gets any different of a reception, but harbored bitterness over a lost love can always stir up some surprising emotions :coffee:
Jul 19, 2015 at 11:48 AM - Ogsponge: He will get the same response, the only people that hate Favre are grumpy old internet men and grumpy internet posters
Jul 19, 2015 at 12:30 PM - Pokerbrat2000: LOL kind of have to agree with you Ogsponge
Jul 19, 2015 at 12:57 PM - buggybill2003: Oh for pity sake
Jul 19, 2015 at 1:40 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: I won't lie there were some games I saw of him that we lost that we had no business losing that made me so mad I almost wanted to break the TV set, but there were times the opposite was true thanks to this man
Jul 19, 2015 at 1:45 PM - Zartan: If you still hold massive hate for the man thats not Healthy
Jul 19, 2015 at 1:49 PM - PackerfaninCarolina: Nope, those last days of his career shouldn't erase 16 years of building up what we had. 17 of the last 23 years we've made the playoffs, not a lot of teams can say that, and even if not all, a good bit of that is owed to Brett
Jul 19, 2015 at 2:25 PM - Ogsponge: I would like to state for the record that my comments were more meant to say that I think the people who "despise" Favre are massively outnumbered by the people that appreciate everything he did for the Packers. It does not meant either side is right or wrong. I simply certain more way more Packer fans remember Favre fondly than they do with disdain.
Jul 19, 2015 at 2:25 PM - Ogsponge: and I types reals good to...
Jul 19, 2015 at 2:28 PM - Dan115: players and coaches come and go it is the fans who stay forever. I was mad at Lombardi when he went to the skins

Jul 19, 2015 at 4:04 PM - Zartan: All I ever knew was Favre being the QB till Rodgers came in.
Jul 19, 2015 at 4:04 PM - 7thFloorRA: Everything worked out great for everyone and now he is back in the family. Its very easy to forget the bad stuff

Jul 19, 2015 at 6:24 PM - 7thFloorRA: I just signed up for the Packer 5K in 2 weeks. Anyone else running? I did it last year. Pretty cool...you get to finish by running the perimiter of the field inside lambeau.

Jul 20, 2015 12:42 PM - Green and Gold: Would Ted Thompson sign an aging veteran receiver with too many talented young prospects to possibly carry onto a 53 man roster as is?
Jul 20, 2015 1:34 PM - Vrill: Depends if he thinks the back end of our WR core isn't working out as intended. WR's like Janis, Abbrederis and White.
Jul 20, 2015 5:27 PM - adambr2: I don't ever think I have seen as much fretting over our #5 WR spot as I have seen this offseason.
Jul 20, 2015 6:41 PM - Cwoodson21: They are not going to sign Reggie Wayne. Our backup wide receivers need to play special teams and Wayne is not a special teams player.

Jul 22, 2015 at 2:59 PM - Vltrophy: Wore my old Favre jersey for the first time in about 7 years
Jul 22, 2015 at 5:52 PM - Green and Gold: I think Aaron's playoff record is as bad as it is, beacuse both he and MM played too conservative. They played to try and not lose instead of playing to win.
Jul 22, 2015 at 6:09 PM - AKCheese: I have a Favre Jets jersey (the fact that he was having an MVP caliber season and had the previously hapless Jets headed to the playoffs is hugely overlooked when evaluating his career), couldn't bring myself to buying a ViQueens #4 so I got a red QB practice Jersey tho it does still have a small Queens logo

Jul 23, 2015 at 6:17 AM - Pokerbrat2000: I prefer the word "smart" over "too careful" when describing Rodgers play. Maybe watching Favre play and hearing how critical many fans were of Favre's "cavalier/ gunslinger mentality"...Rodgers didn't want to fall into the same trap. I would agree that MM is conservative at times, but that isn't just in the playoffs.
Jul 23, 2015 at 8:08 AM - Carl: The Packers blow out lots of teams this year and pass on third to win week 17 and divisional round. They play one quarter conservatively and all of sudden MM is way to conservative all the time...
Jul 23, 2015 at 8:10 AM - Carl: Crazy how people can look at one game and somehow think it applies all the time.
Jul 23, 2015 at 8:12 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Personally, I am not criticizing MM, love him as a coach. Whether he is conservative, extreme or moderate he gets the job done......I was merely pointing out that he is consistent and it wasn't just in that one game or the playoffs that he calls a somewhat safe approach to handling a lead.
Jul 23, 2015 at 8:13 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Fans would be screaming to have MM fired had he done the opposite in the Seattle game with a lead and had a few pick 6's go against us.
Jul 23, 2015 at 8:15 AM - Carl: Not to mention all the deep balls on short third downs and play action deep balls
Jul 23, 2015 at 8:16 AM - Carl: I was referring more to Aaron Rodgers 12 post above
Jul 23, 2015 at 8:29 AM - Pokerbrat2000: Obviously, when you win everyone is a fan of the play calling, QB play, etc. but loose one like they did in Seattle and we all second guess every coach, player and play call.
Jul 23, 2015 at 8:30 AM - Pokerbrat2000: I'll take AR behind center every game and MM on the sidelines doing whatever he does at the time, because history has proven them both to be winners.
Jul 23, 2015 at 8:55 AM - Green and Gold: Hopefully BJ can stay healthy enough to stop Lynch week 2.
Jul 23, 2015 at 9:02 AM - Green and Gold: What a tragedy it'd be if Rodgers retires having fewer Lombardi's than Eli.
Jul 23, 2015 at 9:44 AM - Pokerbrat2000: He wouldn't be the first great player to have only 1 or none....
Jul 23, 2015 at 10:04 AM - desertdog55: Dan Marino has 0....Fran Tarkenton has 0....both pretty good QBs
Jul 23, 2015 at 12:45 PM - Pokerbrat2000: what about Jay Cutler? oh wait......we are talking about good QB's
Jul 23, 2015 at 3:03 PM - BearDroppings: I think Rodgers will get two more lombardi's. Book it.
Jul 23, 2015 at 3:03 PM - BearDroppings: I'm thinking this year is the year. Then probably around 2018 as well.
Jul 23, 2015 at 7:02 PM - Green and Gold: We have no defined blocking TE. Would love to pick up Jermaine Gresham.
Jul 23, 2015 at 7:02 PM - Green and Gold: Low risk high reward.
Jul 23, 2015 at 7:37 PM - Pokerbrat2000: Jermaine Gresham is reported to be in GB for a visit, so who knows
