All that said. IF Rodgers gets on a team that all they need is a QB? I still think he could make some noise. He’s not coming off injury anymore and he has appeal to draw a few athletes. He doesn’t have the luxury of time anymore. It’ll take 2-3 years to straighten that mess in NY.

Hate to say it. The only teams I can think of that would be a good fit is actually the Vikings and I dare say.. Seattle. Most good teams are pretty set at QB. I have no idea what the plans are in MN or Seattle at QB. I do think Seattle might be an option if Gene struggles any more at INT. Seattle would be at 9-4 with Rodgers.

Rodgers almost poisoned the well in GB but Gluten was smart enough to dump him before that could happen. He poisoned the water with the Jets.

Rodgers is a great QB who has seen much better days. even so, he could probably play another year or two, but he's just a toxic personality. He brings more grief to a team than value. Even in a league desperate for QBs, he's very close to being unemployable. But it's the NFL. Some owner will be dumb enough to pick him up if/when the Jets' gig ends.

Darnold has played very well in minihaha. Unless he does not like Minneapolis; it seems like a pretty good fit. But I don't think the vikes can lowball him because he's shown that he can play and someone will offer real money I believe. The real chance, imho, would be going with their rookie. So personally, I would rather see that.

I guess it's a good problem for MN to have. I'm sure they want Darnold back, but would be unwilling to commit to a contract longer than 2 years - assuming they've got their next QB in McCarthy, a pretty solid assumption.

A QB-needy team would be willing to give Darnold at least a 3-year deal, and he'd be crazy not to take that. As for $$$, hard to say. He's a QB on a very good team. He's not gonna find a better WR duo than Jefferson and Addison. But these things come down to money. If he's offered a 3 year plus deal worth, say $120 mil with $40-$50 mil guaranteed, he'd have to take it. And I don't think MN would match that with McCarthy in house.

(Is the guy's name McCarthy? I know his initials are J.J. and he played at MI. Well, you know who I'm referring to.)

1. 2-11 New York Giants

3. 3-10 New England Patriots
4. 3-10 New York Jets
And the 5th team is.................... yup you guessed it.............
The 12-1 Kansas City Chiefs ( Have scored exactly 30 twice, but not more than).

Now who would ever think that a team led by either Mahomes or Rodgers, not to mention both in the same year, wouldn't have a game where their team scored more than 30 pts in a game, 13 games into the season....Crazy times we are living in.

That aside, how can the Chiefs even be in this conversation, at 12-1??? Another odd stat for this Chiefs team, is they only have a +58 pt differential, while the Lions, with the same exact 12-1 record, are a +183.

Interesting. To me, this shows that all that matters is winning. A SB between the Chiefs and Lions would be interesting, well the Chiefs and Packers would be better. I really don't expect the Chiefs to get back to the SB - but I think that's what I thought last year at this time too. Great teams just find ways to win.

It's gonna be an interesting month ahead.

Bingo!! Winning is the objective, not by how much, or the amount of yards the Defense is giving up. The thing that matters most is how many points are you giving up, and scoring more than your opponent at the end of the day. In the grand scheme of things, the Packers have done a pretty good job at that this year. In 7 or our 9 wins, the Defense has given up less than 20 points.... in 3 of our 4 losses, the opposition has scored 30+.

Yeah I'm optimistic looking at the month ahead. The CBs are probably the weakest link on the team, and it doesn't help with JA out for what sees like every game. All the remaining games look winnable, and given the pathetic state of the NFC South and West, a playoff spot is very doable.

The Jets made it off the list, as they scored 32 pts today. Aaron threw 3 TD's, and Davante Adams caught 9 for 198, and 2 TD's ( all in the 2nd half, as he had no catches at halftime)

yeah it definitely needs to be on a team with a Coach that has a compatible personality.

That would make sense but I don't see Tua leaving Miami unless he comes to his senses and gets the hell out for his health. He plays well when he plays, so unless someone tells him no......

But imagining a QB vacancy in Miami, yeah Rodgers would fit. One more team for him to destroy on his way to South America.
