The Packers have shown the ability to play most weeks.

We struggle with what should be simple stuff, but every week, we tend to be in the mix.

It's hard to watch, bc we don't dictate games... We let our opponents dictate the game to us.

If I were a fan of any other team, watching the Packers would be wonderful, bc it's always a title fight between two evenly matched fighters. Sometimes it's the Rams, sometimes it's the Browns. Either way, we make it (good or bad) exciting.

As a Packers fan, it just sucks seeing us play down to crap teams, and letting games like today happen, regularly.

Either way, it just goes to show that most weeks we got a shot.

Just gotta pray for playoffs and health!

It's not over, but we just have really little margin for error. The division is helping for now, but assuming we lose in New England to drop to 3-4-1, we have to start winning after that.

Must win in Minnesota. We will not win the division without it. Not only will we be chasing Minnesota, this game will determine the tiebreak between the 2 teams as well.

The Bears have a pretty soft remaining schedule and we probably can't afford to drop that one either.

We can afford probably 2 more losses, and they can't be in Minnesota or Chicago. It's going to be tough.

The Bears have some tough games left on the schedule with five division games as well as having to face the Rams.

I think a discussion about draft scenarios makes more sense than potential playoff scenarios. The Packets are 0 and 3 on the road with road games yet against NE, Minn, The Bears, Seattle. This team will be lucky to win a single road game this year. It can't overcome both poor play calling and early season referee abuse. After this five game defining stretch, the Pack will likely be 4-6-1. The bright side is that Gute's first draft class looks good. With two first round picks coming, next year could be a deep playoff run if MM is replaced with somebody good.

To be fair, this is the first game that actually gave me hope f0r the season as it was our first complete one. It showed me that we could beat anyone, anywhere. If not for these 3 very unfortunate events we would have been 6-1:

- Phantom call on Clay
- Complete implosion of Crosby
- Fool's decision of Monty to run out ball

I know that people w0uld like to blame coaching for all our woes, but the only costly coaching mistake I have seen this year has been the decision to run it on our own 1st yard line (WHY ON EARTH DOES MM STILL DO THIS, I DO NOT UNDERSTAND) to give some momentum to the Rams, and out of these 3 aforementioned events, only Monty's decision to run out was preventable.

I have not said the words “the defense looks great” twice in a season, since 2010. At the halfway point of the season, I have already said it twice. Mike Pettine and Gute have given us a legitimate shot. Jaire Alexander and the defensive scheme has me excited. Maybe we don’t win a super bowl this year, but our defense is built for success.

One damn offseason and the defense is so vastly improved it’s insane.

Clark, Martinez, and Alexander are HUGE for this defense going forward. Our pass defense is improved by a factor of 10 when Alexander is on the field. And he's half a season in.

Monty wouldnt have been in a position to run it out there if he executes on 3rd down and blocks Donald like he was supposed to. He botched his assignment and Rodgers didnt get a chance to throw to a wide open Adams.

It seemed to me that even on plays that we came up short it wasn't screw-ups by the Packers as much as it was great plays by the Rams.

BS, don't you realize that the Packers would have blown out the Rams by a margin of at least 50 points without allowing them to score if we only had a decent head coach??? It's pretty obvious LA sucks big time and a different game plan would have even prevented Hekker to put that punt on the 1.

End of sarcasm although I could go on for a while bringing up some ridiculous stuff that has been posted since the end of the game.

So instead of the full blown 80's it's like we're playing 1990's Dallas AT Texas Stadium every week? Jesus!
