Robert Saleh is patiently waiting.
Not really very sophisticated about it either. Usually he will just rush an extra guy right up the gut and they often just get caught up in a big scrum. Does it have something to do with LaFleur? because we have been doing this a long time.

Was looking forward to going to LA. But it looks like cold, raucous Philly who will run the ball a lot more than the Vikings.
Yep. I wonder about that matchup. Our team tends to match up with teams that lean running the ball. If we get Walker back we gave a stout group of Run Defenders. There are probably 6 to 8 teams that can at least mitigate the Eagles power Run. I believe the Packers are one of them. We are ranked #6 in Rushing D. The Eagles top out the better Run Defenses at #10.

The Eagles had the Cowboys number 2X this year with blowouts. But if you look the Cowboys have a #29 ranked run Defense.

One bright spot of hope if we go to Philly. GB held Saquon to a respectable 147 yards and 3.8 per carry in our first meeting. The Packers are #4 ranked in Rushing Yards per carry allowed at 4.0 per. The only teams better are Ravens Broncos Vikings Jets. Teams that you immediately think of with a Stout D front 7.

Conversely. If we can run on the #3 ranked Vikings Run D, we can run on anyone.
Our pass Defense and #21 ranked penalty yardage team is what hurts us. The Eagles are #2 in penalty yardage given up. They are extremely disciplined and offer little to no help. They do however turn the ball over on O and we take the ball away on D,
so there’s that

Isn’t he out for a knee injury
PCL. Should’ve been back a few weeks ago so it’s very concerning. Although if they thought he was done they wouldn’t use a roster spot though. So there’s that.

My guess is he’s aggravated it a couple times. Possibly as little as a couple weeks ago. We still have 2 weeks before playoffs and I’m wondering if we aren’t holding him back being extra cautious? Just give him that extra 2-3 weeks is the only thing that makes sense.

Honestly.... I just looked up and seen the Packers have lost their 5 games by a combined 22 points. (10 of those in the 24-14 loss to lions). 4 being a combined 12 points.

And it seems like we are getting some key pieces back for playoff time.

If GB decides to start firing on all cylinders, we might just steam roll through the playoffs. We have done very well with guys like love and Alexander injured. I imagine we could be peaking at the right time. Coming in under the radar.

Ok thanks for clearing that up thought it was just and injured knee and they were holding him out until the playoffs

The problem with the Packers us their
That clears it up - competing for Super Bowl to me is being one of the four or six teams that folks give a realistic shot at pushing to be in the SB, which I think for some is debatable to include GB this year. Competing for it as you described is slightly different in being one of the two teams in the game, makes me understand your take better.
The problem with the Packers is their big players measured by salary come up small in big games. It happens over and over again going back more than a decade. It makes no sense to get caught up in the minutia of the games. They just fail to make the plays when needed. Where was Gary or Clark or Alexander or McKinney or even Love against the Lions or Vikings. They were basically AWOL. That's going to happen again in the playoffs. They'll get bounced out right away because they play small.

As long as MLF has been HC, the D has played it safe. I don't care for that - rushing four or five, playing zone, and usually not getting anywhere.
