lol I’ve been avoiding these things during games to avoid crazies but swung in quick.

Did anyone mention how Doubs showed more joy and excitement on his touchdown than I have ever seen his whole career? Happy to see him expressively happy, hope that is a sign of things outside of football in a better place.

I’m sorry, yes pts are good BUT kicking FG’s in the red zone is like giving Seattle hope for a come back
Ordinarily, yes.... but with Geno Smith out, I don't think this team has it in them - especially not tonight. That D line is savaging Howell even more than they were Smith. Howell was tackled with the ball all three of the plays on that drive, 2 of them behind the line of scrimmage. I think the poor bastard picked the wrong bloodbath to step into the middle of.

I understand wanting points, but most of the league is going for it in positive field position on much longer distances on 4th down.
And if they wouldn't have gotten points, everyone would be trashing MLF.... Damned if you do, damed if you don't. I'm playing to win, not be cute. 3 score game with 1 quarter to go, and a backup QB on the otherside... give me points. Maybe in a different scenario, but not this one tonight.

It's been a really reasonable tone. A few gripes about the same old thiongs (clock management, playcalling, occasional lack of urgency), but the consensus is that this is a really solid game and a performance everyone on the team should be damned proud of. They're going to need some extra footballs when they give out game balls.

That was a sharp observation. I hadn't thought of that, but yeah... you're right.

I agree, but it will come back to bite us. I'm honestly not worried about second string QB Howell, we need game reps of going for it.
Jeez Sam Howell is awful.

We don’t get 7 that’s on the offense, don’t get 3 that’s on the kicker
