That was another shot in the arm to the Eagles. Wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles put the dagger in with a long drive.

Oh my... hi to all here.... there must be a curse on that first Packers half today. Who ever hired a voodoo priest for that game - I hope he just paid for the first half and we will see a different second half :devilish:

Ok L I’m holding you to that
Mary informed me she cut up a couple of NY Strips earlier and has been marinating them since about noon, and she will make her red wine beef gravy for tips to be slopped over her homemade egg noodles, side salad and I know she made raspberry crisp earlier today. Sounds mouthwatering to me - I can hardly wait!

Nope, defense is holding this game single handedly within reach. Here’s to hoping they can keep it up and our offense can get some points on this drive

First turnover was a terrible call and led to 7 free points
The hit on the kickoff return could have been called for a personal foul, but sometimes it gets missed. It got missed. The recovery could have and maybe should have been overturned to Nixon, but if there’s any sliver of doubt they often just stick with the call on the field. They did. They could have still held Philly to 3 points on 3rd down. They didn’t.

If those are the things that the Packers are worried about right now, they’ve already lost.

Just waiting for all the fans blaming MLF for not having all the answers on offense after a game in which he was missing his best deep threat receiver, second best olineman, his QB throwing a terrible pick, and his kick returner fumbled the opening kick off. MLF may very well do something to deserve thinking he sucked, but he hasn’t done it yet.

Oh, and MLF will also be blamed for the kicker missing his first ever post season FG.

Really hard to make that case when you’ve turned the ball over twice and can’t move the ball offensively.
The first turnover was a clear recovery by GB. he didn’t need to stand up and run again.
The 2nd turnover was a pretty play by Slay. Probably NOT the guy you want to pick on with a young 2nd year player.

I think it’s as much poor scheme here. You go to their best players? Then we go long on 3rd n 3 from the GB45?

That’s some stupid thinking. All year long we’ve went long on 3rd n short. Get 4 yards there.

There wasn’t a sliver of doubt however. Nixon clearly recovered it, was on the ground, touched.

Yeah...I don't know if I'd go that far yet...

But to say the least it's concerning to me that we went and got Hafley, and in his first year in the league looks to have largely transformed the defense...pretty much immediately...
And then we have LaFleur in his 6th year, who is supposed to be some manner of offensive savant...and our offense looks to have regressed in a number of ways
Okay, it's his 6th season, so how many seasons should he get. It may be early, so when is the right time? We are regressing and having AR looks like there are some deficits that were getting covered up. "We're the youngest team" is not an answer to say why we have been looking sub par when we need to get things done. If we were progressing, that would be one thing, but this team looks like they are regressing. The thing is that I want to know when we can identify why this team is not where most of us want it, and when should it change for us?

Again it's the pits. I don't care about stats when you go up against Big Time D's our lines suck. One of these years his team might actually wake up to the fact that if you're strong up front like the real contenders you might have something

There was in the minds of officials that it was still moving around, apparently. I don’t know what else to say about it. It is what it is and they got 7 points out of it. We can’t undo that by dwelling on it. We need to score.
