If we get a 3rd or 2nd we could package that with the 1st from NO for Mack... More time for Kizer to develop behind Rodgers. I like the move, he has a bigger arm... Good start to winding down to the 53 man roster.

6th round pick.

Getting anything though for Hundley was an accomplishment. Gute building his draft pick arsenal.

"I've got three years invested in Brett Hundley, two years invested in Joe Callahan, the quarterback room is exactly where it needs to be, okay!"

Never forget.

Accepting 6th rounder next year is basically like a 7th rounder during the current draft.
However, a 6th rounder valued after the draft (today)? is like getting the value of the first choice of all undrafted players.
Would’ve much preferred we just negotiated for a backup at any needed position so we could get said player into the playbook early.
After all.. isn’t that what Seattle just accomplished? We may have helped our competition today for a future unknown value.

Either way.. I’m not sure this is worth celebrating regardless of our opinion of a serviceable Backup at QB (At least John Schneider thinks so)
Good new for Boyle though I hope he shines this week.

Through the 2017 draft process I said Kizer would be good for the team and potentially QB of the future. Everybody panned it, he went to Cleveland. After he was traded I said he'll be the backup, and Hundley will get sent packing. Everybody panned it. Maybe listen to the old man once in a while. :roflmao:

Bill Belichick would pull the trigger on that trade so quickly it would make heads spin.

Even Kraft wouldn't veto that trade.

Agree 100%. No GM would turn down getting Aaron Rodgers at 34 yrs old. Especially seeing Brady over 40 still playing at a high level.
