Nice thing about tonight's Packer game is the Brewers are playing in the playoffs and we can switch between the two if one gets ugly. :D

I’m with ya on that Snoops. MM has to channel his inner Bill Bellichek and keep the foot to the gas until the 60 minute mark is reached. If ever a team needed a statement win, it’s the Packers, right now. And as long as I’m being greedy, and channeling my inner Mike Ditka (ala SNL), I predict the Packers 52, 49ers 0

I would like that as well. But I would advise people to temper their expectations. This forum is full of doom and gloomers right now beacause the Packers have not won 5 straight Super bowls and are not currently undefeated this season. I don’t think many people are taking account of the fact that Aaron Rodgers is playing on one and a half legs and how much that may be affecting him both physically and mentally. I think the Packers will win tonight... but will not be disappointed if it’s not a blowout.

I agree there is some doom and gloom. But I think that that is just it. People ARE taking into account Rodgers is on one and a half legs and that is why there seems to be more doom and gloom. We need to accept that we have an injury prone QB. He is not durable. He will get better health wise later in the season that is true. But with Aaron I hate to say it's not a matter of if he will get injured, but when. Before this season started I advised my brother against drafting Aaron in fantasy because I said I did not trust his ability to stay healthy or avoid injury. Sure enough. That's not a knock, thats just who Rodgers is at this point. IF he stays healthy, he is 1 or 2 in the league. That is a BIG IF.

As great as Rodgers is, and seeing what some of these rookie qb's are doing around the league so far this year,
that contract they gave Rodgers makes me nervous.

There are some quarterback currently still on their rookie contracts playing at a pretty high level but all of the rookies have mostly struggled this season.
