Seattle can't stop Lacy. This is gonna be the factor on Sunday. Seattle's run defense isn't that great.

They are third in the league in run defense so they are pretty good.

That being said, being able run much better on Detroit than anyone is a good sign going into Seattle.

However, I do hope and expect GB plays a much more competitive game.

Looking back at Week 1, it was a one score game at halftime. Then the following happens

We kick off. The defense stops them. They punt.

Then, Rodgers threw a pick inside his own 15.

We give up a FG. 20-10.

We turn it over on downs.

Seahawks punt.

Rodgers gets strip sacked and we give up a safety. 22-10.

Bakhtiari gets called for a personal foul. The Hawks get the ball at midfield.

SEA score. 29-10. Bulaga gets injured, Sherrod comes in. Game over

Bulaga was hurt with 11mins to go in 2nd q----
17-10 at half time

Doesn't sound like a big time pack fan-- got huge facts wrong

Getting the time when Bulaga got hurt wrong isnt really a big deal. Maybe he thought wrong?

I desided to check out that forum because Im bored. There already is someone who booked flights to AZ and planning to buy SB tix.

that made my day!..........'I'm not intending this post to come off as disrespect. You have every right to come here, and are encouraged to talk about the upcoming matchup this Sunday. Please come in and civilly converse about your team's strengths and weaknesses, your perceptions about our team's strengths and weaknesses and how you think the whole thing is gonna play out.

You may be thinking your Packers have a punchers chance. Some of you may be more confident than that, thinking you're gonna roll in here Sunday afternoon and roll out with a win. Well, let me put those misguided thoughts to rest here and now. Oh, sure, you have a very very good offense over there, with a QB who is better on one leg than most other QBs are on two legs. You have a serviceable running back stable in Starks and Lacy - either of whom is capable of ripping off a big one. You may look to Seattle's injuries on the D-line and think that gives your RBs a chance to gash us for some yardage. You might look to our mediocre O-line and think that you'll be able to pressure Wilson into making some bad throws and turning the ball over. You're going to listen to the pundits all week and hone in on the ones who say that the Packers are going to go up to Seattle and win. You might think your team has some kind of intangible 'destiny' factor this year.

Like most fans, you will likely feel more confident as the week rolls along. On Sunday, you'll believe in your heart that the Packers are going to do it, they're going to beat Seattle on Rodgers' gimpy leg and then roll into Glendale and win the Superbowl. Your heart will be racing when the ref tosses the coin. Then the game will start, and you'll watch as the Seahawks kick the living **** out of your beloved Packers through four quarters of football, and then neither you nor anyone else will have anything to say.

The Packers have no shot at winning this game."

Seattle might have the worst fans in the league at the moment. So obnoxious. I think they have more threads on the Super Bowl than the nfc championship

Pretty much every fan base when on top has the worst fans on message boards.... many come out of the woodwork to stick out their chest and post how great their team is to make themselves feel better about themselves.

90% of Seattle fans aren't even Seattle fans. Just bandwagoners who will more than likely jump ship when the Pats win the SB (or the Pack :))

Really? There are always bandwagon fans when a team is at the top but you aren't giving the fan base enough credit. They were selling out the Kingdome even in the lean years.

You don't get an estimated 700k to attend a Superbowl Parade with a franchise that is doesn't have significant support.

If a Seattle fan can tell me about some of Steve Largent's plays (outside of politics) without looking them up on the internet, then I'll have more respect for them as a fan. Personally, I remember Steve Largent on the field and I admire his ability.

I think what folks are saying here is that many, but not all, Packer fans have been fans all of their life and many remember being fans through 30 lean years. So forgive Packer fans if they seem less than impressed with fans who trumpet their team's glory but jump ship to the next big winning sensation when the opportunity presents itself.

Much of human nature prefers a winner over losing. A lot of people somehow personally invest their own self image in a team. So to identify with a team that is currently on a hot streak, they get an ego boost. Thus in this area of the country, Steelers equipment and products were all over the place for many years. Now all of a sudden, one goes out to the store and finds a number of people wearing Seahawks equipment. It is an easy, if not always accurate, assumption that the person is simply riding the band wagon until it stops and they can find another.

But when that ego boost becomes arrogance toward other fans and people, it can become personally destructive.

bulaga played only 20 snaps

So your saying Sherrod playing is not or was not a big deal??

Re watch the game and see how he allowed 2 sacks and a safety. Do you think bulaga allows that?

Sherrod in from 2nd q on was a huge liability

Don't take the "stop Lynch first" as a slight against Wilson. Take it as respect for Lynch. When he gets going, even the defense is standing and cheering. We can't let him pump up the Hawk momentum. I have more confidence in our DBs against you WRs than I do our run defense. Although run D has improved, Lynch will be a big test.

I think everyone here has a healthy dose of respect for your team, but some of us like to be sarcastically confident, especially how very few are giving us a chance.

Personally, I know our chances are smaller than I would like, but a win is not impossible. If we play solid, mistake-free and get a big play here and there, it is possible.

Oh I wasn't taking it that way at all. Sorry I've been a little rushed so my words aren't quite coming out as clearly as I'd like them to. The way I see it, taking the breakdown of the X's and O's out... you don't stumble into a Championship game, or the number 2 seed in the playoffs. There is ample right to have confidence in your team, and we, as Seahawks fans should be a little nervous, albeit with cautious optimism.

What I'm going to say here... don't take as a personal attack. Just defending us that have been fans since we were very young. I was 4 years old when the Seahawks came into existence. My dad went to the very first game with this sister, who was a season ticket holder until the new stadium. I have been a season ticket holder over many seasons depending on a few factors of my personal life. I could tell you more about Zorn to Largent, or Krieg to Largent... Green, Nash and Bryant being our D line for so many years .... etc. My point being there are a lot of us that have suffered through some pretty lean years. In the last few, we've seen a team start to emerge that will be remembered for a long time. Something we've been dreaming about for 3 decades in many of our cases. Every team has their share of knuckleheads and some are more vocal than others.

There is a bond between Green Bay and Seattle. Once Mike Holmgren came over, I think we were going to be eternally linked. Would have been better if we could have pulled out SB40 but is what it is. Truth be told, aside from when my beloved Hawks are playing, I am a fan of the Packers. I haven't had the chance yet but the one stadium on my list to see, is Lambeau. My friends that have been out there when the Seahawks come to town have all come back with reports of kindness and generosity. Everything I've experiences from fans I've met here is exactly the same. Personally, I wouldn't pick any other team I'd rather play in this game. Not because of the strength of either team, but because I can come here, chat with you all and at the end of the day, we'll walk away, shaking hands and saying good luck to the victor. For that, I thank all of you. And on behalf of us Seahawks fans that truly just wish to have a good, and perhaps even mildy heated debate about the game, I apologize for those who think it's more fun to be rude and insight anger and hostility.

Sadly, I won't be in Seattle for the game. I won't even be in North America. I'm leaving tomorrow for a trip I made many months ago. So I probably will only have today to jump in and say my peace about the game. But I will come back on Tuesday, win or lose, and bid you all the best in your off-season, or your big trip to the big game.

/end rant.... carry on!

I didn't mean that as a personal slight. I am aware of many loyal Seahawk fans and for a while I admired them for suffering with the best of us. But most, if not all the Seahawks fans I know were Patriot, Bronco, or even '9er fans the years before...and yes I find them obnoxious with their "12th man" fanaticism.

Safe travels!

Thank you kindly! I knew it was a possibility when I booked this trip that this would happen. It's just the only weekend I could pull it off with schedules. Drat!

GB has a unique and special fan base IMO. Even as loyal as I am to my fellow 12s, I envy your fan base in many ways. I wasn't taking that as a personal slight btw... merely defend the honor of those of us who have sat through the Brian Bosworth, Rick Mirer and Ken Behring years. Now please excuse me while I go hit myself in the head with a tack hammer and try to push those thoughts out of my mind... ;)

Yeah and this is nothing. It is so bad that it will bring some arrogance out of anyone opposing their "culture" or whatever the hell you want to call it. The crap they do isn't even in good fun. My wife was told she shouldn't wear her Packer jersey to work. Some people on here have thought I am a little boisterous towards these wannabe's but I don't care. In fact as soon as my son turns 18 which is soon I am getting the hell out of this "over priced grey rain forest" with horrible football fans that have a football IQ of a "Gerbil".

I have heard fools around here tell me Aaron Rodgers is "overrated."
