NGL,....it was very bad and I scared my dogs very much when it happened. But as I've said... it will lead to Ben Johnson being our head coach next year.

What makes next week difficult is not seeing the better teams meet but when 2 below par teams face off. Who is worse and who is due to beat somebody?Canadian Cheddar got a big boost when the Chiefs topped the Raiders 27-20, breaking our six week bingo drought. Meanwhile, Voyaguer is our best picker and remains our season points leader. Milani fired off a 12-4 week 8 record to reap second tier bonus points.

And we have 9 weeks to go. I expect some of the bottom four to hit a bingo. They have been close. But it is tough. Just this last week I found it hard to see the Ravens and Jets both losing. But that is the NFL.Congrats to Canadian Cheddar & Milani for hitting paydirt! Right now, everyone competing is in the hunt to win this thing. All it takes is one or two good weeks and you go up fast. I didn't expect to be up there this long to be honest. I figure that by the end of this coming week I'm gonna be down the list.
That's what makes this fun. You never know what's gonna happen.
I will tell you probably the worst one in history I recall. I was in high school. SB III. In school there was one guy who was the campus bookie so to speak. Called him The Ace. He took bets on every game during the football season. I lost to him once and packed it in. However, come SB III the Colts were very heavy favorites over the Jets. Maybe even more than the Packers in SB I and II. He was giving out 28 points on the Jets. That is how certain he was of a Colts slaughter. The Colts had just demolished the Browns in NFL Championship like 34-0. Come Monday morning I never saw a more depressed and devastated human being except at a funeral. " I don't want to hear about it. " An ENTIRE season of profit wiped out in ONE game. That's why I don't bet money on football anymore. Can you imagine how many people lost their shirts betting Baltimore over Cleveland because.....why wouldn't you????
We see it every week in this contest. No such thing as a "sure thing"
