The Bills coach should also be in consideration over MLF just due to their drastic turnaround
I like that matchup a lot better than I do the Chiefs. Don't get me wrong, I think the offense could throw up a big number on them, there's just something though about the potency of KC that would have me extremely nervous. The Bills are my favorite to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.
So Rivera could still be considered for Coach Of The Year. No, in the last 10 years only three coaches won the award with their team having the best record in the league.
I said b4 because of his issues.. his record doesn’t warrant it but his life was at stake and he still got team to playoffsSo Rivera could still be considered for Coach Of The Year.
Hackett I think has had requests? With the Falcons hiring Arthur Smith and the Jets hiring Robert Saleh (who will reportedly from Mike LaFleur with him), we are probably up to 9 teams using offenses that come off of the same tree.
Packers, Rams, 49ers, Titans, Falcons, Jets, Vikings, Browns, Bengals.
It will be more important than ever for Petals and Hackett to keep evolving, because defensive coordinators are going to be doing a lot of work on this offense in the offseason.

I just saw this on television last night and threw up on the couch. Alex Smith's leg:

I think LaFleur has a lot farther to go. His career is just getting started. He gets a lot respect I think. But he's not in the hall of fame yet. I hope he has a long and successful career in Green Bay, Wisconsin.Matt LaFleur is now 40 games into his head coaching career and he's 33-7, with a winning percentage of 82.5%. To this point in a career, he's the best ever.
Now here's what ticks me off: this stunning achievement is all but ignored nationally because he has Aaron Rodgers.
Is Rodgers a huge advantage? Absolutely. He's LaFleur's biggest advantage, easily.
But "analysts" totally ignore what the Packers were doing with Rodgers' prior to LaFleur's arrival. His last forty games with McCarthy, his winning percentage as the starting QB was 53.8%.
So the notion that Rodgers and a bag of potato chips could do what has happened in Green Bay since 2019 is absurd. Moving to LaFleur has led to a 30 point jump in winning %. In a 17 game season, that's five wins.
LaFleur needs to start getting some appreciation for what he's accomplishing.

McCarthy's "system" only works with very good skill guys who can beat man coverage simply by being better than their defender. They get very little help schematically. And having an in his prime Aaron Rodgers helps just a bit as well.Matt LaFleur is now 40 games into his head coaching career and he's 33-7, with a winning percentage of 82.5%. LaFleur completely revamped the offense. His schematic abilities far outweigh what McCarthy brought to the table especially towards the end. The way that everything sort of feeds off of the run is something I've wanted to see for a very long time here.
I was thinking to myself after the game Thursday Night "there's absolutely no way in hell the Packers win this game with this particular set of personnel with McCarthy as the coach".
I fear that LaFleur will never get the proper amount of credit he truly deserves for what he's been able to accomplish. You said it, Aaron Rodgers is the ultimate "cheat code", but 7 losses in 2.5 seasons is just absolutely remarkable and it's a testament to how good of a coach he really is.
Yep. And if the next guy isn't up to the task and he struggles, they will say yep he was a product of Aaron Rodgers. But now more than ever, you have to have competent quarterback play to have any sort of chance. He will have to find success with the next guy before he gets the credit .

Just ask Belichick.
I'll bet that Jerry makes Kellan Moore the highest paid OC in the NFL before he lets him go to another team.I am equally interested to see what happens in Dallas if and when Kellen Moore gets hired away.
