Cohen was careful to say that there's plenty of time for things to change before training camp, but he noted that Lewis looked really heavy, slow, and out of shape at OTA's, and that a lot of the various media types noticed and were talking about it.

That might work in short yardage or goal line situations but on most plays it isn't smart to have an offensive lineman eligible as a receiver.

Its been a couple weeks since this last post. With the Bills releasing Jake Fisher, who recently switched from OL to full-time TE, should GB give him a look? This is exactly the type of player I envisioned fulfilling a role in GB's offensive system under LaFleur.

An athletic inline blocker with receiving skills, possibly thriving in goal-line and short yardage situations.

I don't expect Fisher to thrive at tight end. In addition he isn't good enough to make it as an offensive lineman.

In my opinion it wouldn't be smart to keep a player like him on the roster solely to use him in short yardage or goal line situations.
