While that's true it improves Rodgers chances of analyzing their scheme as well.

I understand what they are doing, but I think it can work both ways in that it gives the defense more time to pick up on things that the offense is doing. There have been several times this year that the announcers themselves have commented on queues from the Packers. Moore's mouthpiece, Williams looking around, Montgomery's lineup in the background. Yes, draining the clock to 1 gives Rodgers time, but it works both ways.

My point is the saints use players to the strengths...we tend to put square pegs in round holes to much.

I agree that the Saints offense has been elite with Payton being the head coach. You have to realize New Orleans has had six seasons without a winning record while having a future HOF QB in Brees starting every single game as well during Payton's tenure though. I can't even inagine how Packers fans would have reacted if that had happened to McCarthy.

Design better routes for the WR to get open easier. Brees, Goff, Roethlessberger, and Mahomes seem to be able to toss up big plays regularly. Rodgers should too.

I'm not sure what you consider a big play but the Packers are tied for fourth in the league in plays that gained 30 or more yards, tied with the Steelers, Rams and Saints.

With the offense being allowed to motion only a single player before the snap it's definitely more difficult for the defense to pick up what the offense is planning to do.

The Saints have had underperforming teams several times over the years. Payton's name falls out of favor, but as soon as they're winning again, he's the perfect replacement. IF we only had a guy like him here... Fans are fickle and very poor at big picture planning or observation which is why they tend to miss things like this,

They think GB's offense can't perform because some talking head told them that after a play didn't work. They miss the ones that do and don't understand why some don't. They look for a way to substantiate their preformed thought rather than observe what is happening.

In addition a large portion of Packers fans solely watch highlights from other teams and get the impression that every single play works for them.

I know that I'm not posting here as often as I used to, but what's up with PackerfaninCarolina hitting the "Disagree" button to six different posts on this thread....without actually saying anything himself/herself? Seems kind of immature especially on what is essentially an opinion thread.

Better yet, I would ask the coach his reason WHY the team is playing so poorly,
and how his going to correct it.
He's opinion would be more important for me the giving my own.

After all it's his @ss on the line.

And you were a player, or assistant coach, at ANY position... what do you put into it?

What do you (at your position) share with your head coach on how to fix what you think needs fixing?

Can we find a way NOT to use a timeout in the first quarter as the play clock hits 0?

My biggest pet peeve on this forum is when a poster gets click happy with the disagree button, and to your point refuses to actually tell you why he/she disagrees with you.

I can understand agreeing and not elaborating. That's self explanatory. The whole red x or disagree BS is a convenient way of avoiding an actual debate with someone else. It tells me that maybe that poster is too chicken to actually confront someone else... :whistling:

Either jump in the ring with the boxing gloves on, or sit in the stands with a bucket of popcorn.

An unsupported "disagree" is a nothing burger. It should be regarded with a "meh", if that word is still a thing. If some clown puts down a red X, and I'm not necessarily singling out anybody you have in mind because I don't know who he/they might be, I consider it a badge of honor.

Anybody should welcome thoughtful diagreement. Realistically, this is the anonymous internets. Idiocy or just plain peevishness comes with the territory.
