Although, it is quite conceivable for a team to be down starting the 4th Q and the Defense and/or Special Teams scores points to put them in the lead. Which if that was the situation, the QB shouldn't be getting any credit for it.

As I pointed out above there are scenarios when a quarterback is credited with a fourth quarter comeback when he shouldn't. But, on the other side there are games when the QB puts the team in position to win but the defense or special teams don't hold up their bargain. Overall, it's a stat a lot of people put way too much stock into without taking the time to analyze it in-depth.
