Do you:
A) root for a season sweep/likely wildcard run to win the SB, which leads to 5 more years of "business as usual"
B) keep doing what we do this season, hope for the best, and let the chips fall where they may...likely with a middling draft pick, With the potential of a lame duck season next year for staff/coaches
C) aim for a " top 5 pick, cleaning of house, burn it down" remainder of 2018.

Thoughts?

Who the h3ll wouldn't pick A? If you dont want to win a SB, or a 15% chance of winning the SB isnt good enough, you are very dissillusioned.

Given the tone, you should have entitled this thread "Gute Check Time", though whether he has the authority to "burn it down", as you say, is questionable.

Anyway, A) and B) are not mutually exclusive.

As for C), given that vested player salaries are guaranteed for the season, there's no point in "burning it down" if by that you mean cut veteran players. Once eliminated from the playoffs, we should expect some young players getting more snaps but many are getting those snaps as it is with the injuries and Dix being traded. We could see Kizer at the end of the season, though.

If by "top 5 pick" you mean taking measures to intentionally lose the rest of the games, you're not the first to suggest it, or something like it, in these pages. Yeah, sure, lets go ahead and inculcate the habit of losing. That's criminal.

I’ll just pretend you didn’t even ask me that...ok??
Well it's not because you want a successful team. Afterall, you would prefer to not win Superbowls and have a different coaching staff. Your position in the matter is rather confusing.

How is wanting change confusing? Sticking with all the same components and expecting different results is what is very confusing.

No, if you stick with the same components you win the Superbowl. Thats the OP's scenario. The choice is to win the SB or change coaches.

I cant fathom a fan who would rather have a coach he agrees with than to win Superbowls.
