So he has 47 seconds to get in FG range with no timeouts. The other team KNOWS he's passing so they apply the pressure and your OL is without its top two pass protectors. The odds are highly stacked against him, yet he's a dud, despite his receivers not getting open for him and the fact that he threw 3 TD passes to even have them in position to potentially win without our Pro Bowl RB. Yet, he's still a dud.Read the reasoning
Don't worry you've done nothing wrong or illegal. Under the Constitution of the United States you're allowed to be wrong. So he has 47 seconds to get in FG range with no timeouts. Categorically and emphatically disagree.
8-9 wins with the youngest starters in the league is hardly mediocre. You would generally expect a team this young with a new starting QB to have 2-4 wins. This team is young, fast and talented. It takes a little time.Hard for me to pick studs and duds when everything connected to the organization at this time seems to be mediocre. The season is young, but my impression is that we have a mediocre head coach (the 13 win seasons were more of a fluke than we thought), a worse than mediocre defensive coordinator, a quarterback who will likely be middle of the league in most stats, and an overall mediocre roster. Why so much mediocrity? Because Gute is mediocre. I expect this season to be 9-8 or 8-9. Doesn't help that we've been robbed of a home game three years in a row. I hate the 17 game schedule. But that's a rant for another time.
I guess you would know. You've got a ton of experience at being wrong ;PDon't worry you've done nothing wrong or illegal. Under the Constitution of the United States you're allowed to be wrong.
Stopping them on 4th and 1 also wins the game.3 on that final drive wins the game.
The throw to Doubbs is on him. That's a 1st down, drive continues. He can't do it alone.
Gutekunst Barry Love and Bakhtiari are your Duds. Where is that OTHER young stud 3-4 ILB in coverage? WHY did we have a 30 year old ILB with a history of knee issues covering a 22 year old 1st round top 10 draft pick RB in a MUST STOP SITUATION! WHY can't this Defense get off the field, and why haven't they been able to for Barry's whole tenure? And please for the love of god SOMEBODY have enough common sense to put this Defense through ball drills until they all puke!
ANOTHER problem with Gutey is Watson. I'd sure like to see him play so I can accurately pan picking him and using 2 draft picks to trade up to do so.
I'm also down on Love for being able to do NOTHING when we need 1 point to tie.
Bakhtiari right now needs to be asked by the press whether he is un WILLING or un ABLE to play on turf so that we as fans can know the truth about what kind of liability he is.
Studs:
O-Line. multiple starters down throughout the 2nd half and honestly it didn't seem like Love was that much under pressure after the first couple drives.
Wide Receivers seemed to have a good day today.
Owens. I liked how he stood out on punts being the 1st one down the field on multiple returns.
Ifirc3 on that final drive wins the game.
Is it? Or maybe it's on Doubs? Maybe he didn't turn upfield as much as he was expected to? How do you know either way? (Rhetorical question. You don't.)The throw to Doubbs is on him. That's a 1st down, drive continues.
Here's what I DO know. If it's completed it's a 1st down...new set of downs...we have a better than the 0% chance we had after that illegal shift. Is it? Or maybe it's on Doubs? Maybe he didn't turn upfield as much as he was expected to? How do you know either way? (Rhetorical question. You don't.)
True. Here's what I DO know. If it's completed it's a 1st down...new set of downs...we have a better than the 0% chance we had after that illegal shift.
Is he talking about the flea flicker that was underthrown but caught? You're talking particularly regarding the fake for the TD run?
Actually he did a pretty damn good job with the fake handoffs and play fakes ... Even watching the game in HD he did a pretty damn good job LOL
I mean it's Rashan's JOB to see it and tackle the ball carrier who HAS THE BALL, but still he did a pretty damn good job with his play fakes
Ifirc
He threw a dime in ez the defender made good play but wr should had it
Think they did FG?
If it's a td they win
But Love is a dud
If MLF didn't fire Barry after last season, I think we're stuck with him for a long time.Duds Joe Barry and those responsible for him still being defensive coordinator
The kid led the offense on 4 scoring drives. That's better than Rodgers most all of last year. Has had zero turnovers in 2 games and taken 2 sacks. Has done well in the red zone. I'm pleased with how he's played on the road. He's learning every week hopefully.TODAY? YES
The reason he didn't get fired was likely due to the fact that over our last 5 games we allowed the fewest points of any team other than the Ravens, and they only allowed 4 or 5 less.If MLF didn't fire Barry after last season, I think we're stuck with him for a long time.
We'll be fine. If not, it's on the coaches. The whole season is on the coaches imo.8-9 wins with the youngest starters in the league is hardly mediocre. You would generally expect a team this young with a new starting QB to have 2-4 wins. This team is young, fast and talented. It takes a little time.
I think if we had any one of Watson, Bakh, Jones or Jenkins the whole game we would have won. We'll be fine. If not, it's on the coaches. The whole season is on the coaches imo.
You mean losing not one but 3 studs on offense can affect the outcomeI think if we had any one of Watson, Bakh, Jones or Jenkins the whole game we would have won.
If you can imagine that. You mean losing not one but 3 studs on offense can affect the outcome
Yes, with the missing starters, on the road, I consider that DAMN good.He got them 24 points
