At the end of the Packers game last night I kept telling myself, "We still have Bundesliga to watch!
Thats right Croak, but as HSV wont win a championship in the near future I'd have loved to see the Packers bring home another Lombardi Trophy. ;)
I feel nearly as bad as 2009 where we lost two semi finals against Bremen and I had the doubtful pleasure to watch them live at the stadium (Europa League, DFB Cup).

The truth is that I really like the city of Cologne. I never knew much about their team until you came along, Biers.

I think I could live in Cologne. And even though it isn't my particular flavor of belief, I am awestruck by the Cologne Cathedral. I was also horribly saddened by the photos of it after WWII.

But as I was walking down the street in Berlin with my friend, I commented on how sorry I was that the Kaiser Wilhelm gedächtniskirche was destroyed by the war. My German friend sternly looked at me and said; "NO, you must never be sorry for this. It is a good reminder of what happens when you want war." But still, the Germans sure know how to make some beautiful architectural wonders.

I could live in Cologne too. I don't think the cathedral suffered much from WWII, and as I remember it, we purposefully left it alone to use as a landmark in order to tell where they were. The only thing I wished we hadn't done was dropped heavy artillery on their breweries. We should have left them alone, and drank the beer after a hard days work. :D
