Not that I want to help Chicago "figure it out", but until they build a solid offensive line they're doomed to fail. Garbage pass blockers & young QB is a horrible combination. Trubisky never got to his 3rd read as he feared for his life. Williams is trying but leads the league in sacks, so he'll soon get jittery & jumpy as more sacks (minimum 5 today) mount.

Exactly.

Playing QB in the NFL isn't easy and if you can't get to the LOS, read the defense and adjust the call when needed, you're screwed. Throw in a mediocre to bad offensive line, that doesn't give you enough time to get through all your options and yeah, panic sets in and flight mode is the usual outcome.

A blowout win, which GB is very capable of delivering, would seal Eberflus' fate. Play solid, mostly mistake-free ball, regularly put points on the board, & get a take-away or 2 and this should be a fun, relaxing victory.

I'm just bringing up a very solid trend. It's not "happy" but why pretend that giving young struggling quarterbacks their career day hasn't occurred over and over again. Will Hafly be any different? Maybe but he's not out there rushing the passer. If Williams has a big game, Bear fans shouldn't get excited about it.

Haney had his career day after that game. I think he threw for 354 yards. What can you say about Cutler other than he was a poor version of Favre. Under pressure he'd just throw into the secondary hoping for the best.

I really don't care what the final score is as long as the guys play well ( no stupid penalties and/or turnovers) and win the game. We are in no position to talk about blowing anybody out, especially on the road against a divisional rival.
