Just making this placeholder thread for when I have time and all testing is in. Share combine thoughts you have as well.

I’ll eventually edit this OP and provide full summary of some position groups likely high on Packers radar.

Had a couple folks message asking if I would consider sharing positional group thoughts, guys I like Day1, Day2 and Day3 type thing. Might if time allows before draft do that too.

I’d shared with many who my Day3 LB target or crush is this year and folks Teddye just showed up and showed why.

I love the athletic traits and on field promise Teddye Buchanan has from CAL

Now go watch some film. Bare minimum worst case if we make him a Packer you might have one of your best ST guy and a more athletic Krys Boyd type

I personally see an insane complement to Edgerrin for the future…if somehow GB does a fifth year extension instead of option on quay…I have visions of a three headed LB monster with those three.

Jacob Parrish is just short for Packers but is a popping off.

Trey Amos continues to lock in as a target likely for GB type.

Maxwell Hairston just confirmed he is a first round athlete, question like many of us have said - can his play become that as well?

Zy Alexander looking more like a safety or zone strong CB

I’ll also add a guy that I know MANY are gonna scream murder if we draft.

Darien Porter is a guy that for variety of reasons has struggled to stay on the field but when he is out there the field tilts.

He is a CB prospect everyone knew was athletic but not this much…I wouldn’t waste a first on him but folks they don’t make em like this often and that’s a coin flip I’m willing to make…

@Dantés one of my iOL favorites for Day3 Joshua Gray believe meets a ton of our boxes.

Jared Wilson being an absolute athlete leaves me to think if he does his three cone on pro day he's gotta be the leading candidate for a pure center replacement for Meyers.
Eli Cox surprised me in a big way with his testing...short arms but we are talking center so not as crucial.

Jackson Slater (Sacramento State) my guy that I have in my top 100 just barely at 98 hit everything except didn't do shuttle or three cone (suspect he does at pro day)
Jalen Travis I list because dude flew, his explosion tests were awesome and he has nearly 35 inch arms, 10.5 inch hands...if his shuttle and three cone check out 100% Packer type.

Ozzy Trapilo only thing he breaks is he is taller than we normally do but he hits 4.7 shuttle, 7.71 three cone, 33 arms, 316 pounds just simply is 6'8'.

Anthony Belton the dude from Senior Bowl that was manhandling folks didn't do shuttle but is just touch heavier than we normally do at 336. His 3 cone at that size was great at 7.77

Just a quick exercise...weeks before I cleanse my spreadsheets and such...but the hated and loved RAS score exercise as an example of how tape traits translate to physical measurables is often discussed. We hear folks say this guy should be taken look at his production, 7 INTs as an example.....but then you hear draft pundits or guys like Daniel Jeremiah say he doesn't see it...hips are tight, footwork is rough and 4 of those picks were against sub par QBs and 2 of the remaining three were in junk time hail mary type stuff....well if the guy is tight in the hips, poor footwork and such all this comes out in the testing "usually"

CB this year, combine participants with a RAS score of over 7.00
Darien PorterCB2025Iowa State9.99
Caleb RansawCB2025Tulane9.95
Kitan CrawfordCB2025Nevada9.9
Maxwell HairstonCB2025Kentucky9.71
Zah FrazierCB2025UTSA9.28
Jason Marshall Jr.CB2025Florida9.03
Jahdae BarronCB2025Texas9
Jacob ParrishCB2025Kansas State8.95
Robert LongerbeamCB2025Rutgers8.78
Trey AmosCB2025Mississippi8.72
Bilhal KoneCB2025Western Michigan8.54
Nohl WilliamsCB2025California8.32
Mac McWilliamsCB2025Central Florida8.04
Isas WaxterCB2025Villanova8.01
Upton StoutCB2025Western Kentucky7.59

That's it...fifteen....and of those I would venture to guess half are guys many have never even heard of. Shoot I had never looked up, watched film or read even about Waxter or Frazier myself yet.

Now let's think realistically who seems to have value high enough to consider for GB to use a first or second on...that list becomes:

"Most People"
Darien Porter
Jahdae Barron
Maxwell Hairston
Trey Amos

I would add Jacob Parrish and Nohl Williams

Now of those six guys how many are not at the 190lb threshold that Green Bay truly seems to live by and never waiver unless going safety direction...Maxwell Hairston DID NOT make weight.

That leaves height to consider...Jacob Parrish doesn't even hit 5'10' which while rare GB has dabbled in...so remove him.

That leaves Jahdae Barron (will be GONE BY 23), Darien Porter (converted WR that some will scream about his injury past), Trey Amos (good but not great it seems) and Nohl Williams (maybe a touch too early).

Now these are just the combine guys...two other guys that HAVE to be considered in the range we are speaking is Benjamin Morrison and Shavon Revel. Morrison recovering from hip surgery will not be at ND's pro Day but is going to host private workouts...which sucks because most likely none of us will learn how he showed. Revel also won't be doing pro day or combine....so these two are question marks to some, but not me - Morrison to me if healthy (I'd assume GB asks for a private workout) is a first rounder and fits all the GB types (did weigh in at combine at 193 at 6 foot) and Revel also is everything but an inch taller and pound heavier.

Day1 if we go CB I assume it will be one of the six guys mentioned but would be shocked if Barron falls to us. My money would be on Morrison, Amos or Porter because each are about as solid overall as you can get, with Morrison having the elite production and hands / Porter an elite of all elite athletes / Amos that all around well rounded prospect.

Jason Marshall Jr. FYI continues to be my Day3 likely GB target as he checks EVERY box they desire checked.
