Charles Woodson is open to having a discussion about the Packers going 19-0 . Such talk is usually considered blasphemous or downright arrogant (see Rex Ryan 2010) in the NFL.

But from a player which has gained respect that Woodson has, and that is playing for the team like this Packers team, it doesn't seem so outrageous.

Here's what Woodson said, "We can talk about it. I don’t care. We’re 8-0. We’d love to be 16-0 – love to. It’s a realistic conversation now. We’re halfway there. So yeah, let’s talk about it. “I’d love to go undefeated. I’d absolutely love to. Not just the regular season – the whole thing.”

The Packers will make their only appearance on Monday Night Football this season against the Vikings. Ron Jaworski and Jon Gruden are working on their Aaron Rodgers superlatives as we speak. The two broadcasters love great quarterbacks and they love Rodgers.

The Packers have appeared on Monday Night Football at least once a season dating back to 1993.

The Vikings are coming off a bye week, and they won in the previous week , 24-21 over the Carolina Panthers.

The Vikings haven't changed all that much since the Packers defeated them three weeks ago. They still love to run the ball with Adrian Peterson and rookie quarterback Christian Ponder continues to improve little by little. They can move the chains and score in sports. Their defense can be dominate up front and but Rodgers should not have a hard time moving the Packers down the field.

After Monday Night everyone to a man expects the Packers will be 9-0, could this be the proverbial trap game?

Regardless of how well the Packers are playing and the Vikings 2-6 win loss record, as with any Vikings-Packers matchup, there is a certain amount of state pride that is involved.

An underlying story line is the Vikings struggle to get financing for a new stadium. A video has surfaced which asserts that if Minnesota will become Packer country if the Vikings relocate to Los Angeles for instance. Watch below.
