Weak response.

I've never said that Aaron is above criticism. But you wait an entire football season and don't try to solve the issue directly with Aaron like a man. Then you leave the Packers and go on a tirade. And then every single chance you get for the past several years, you continue to take swipes at the guy.

Like it or not, that is way more diva than Rodgers. Seriously...let it go. Rodgers has actually been the anti-diva in regards to Jennings for a very long time by not responding to the exact. same. silly. ***. petty. ****. That he continues to spew because he simply cannot help himself.

You literally wrote "Leave your damn feelings in the parking lot. We're about trying to win football games. If you can't handle it, take your ball and go home.". That to me sounds like one is wasting their time trying to criticize Rodgers. Again, making Greg's point.

I don't like how Rodgers created a locker room that is afraid to speak up and cannot constructively criticize one another. You are correct. My fear is, when all is said and done, despite his remarkable statistics - this is what he will be remembered for.
I'm curious now how exactly did Rodgers create a locker room where people are afraid to criticize one another? I swear if you say anything in regards to this past season, I'm just gonna roll my eyes. You have no way of proving your accusation. And honestly you're giving Rodgers WAY too much credit if he affected the entire locker room like that.

Nobody here can prove anything. But we can connect dots. What is the reasonable assumption when someone is reported multiple times to be sensitive and poor with relationships "when you're out, you're out" and with the locker room having a walking on eggshells feel to it - the article mentioning that MVS and St. Brown had to choose between Rodgers or McCarthy or face a decrease in targets. To me, the logical connection to make there is that if you're not on camp Rodgers you're out. If you criticize him, you're out.

I feel like I'm going in circles here. These articles are out there guys.

If that's the logic, or lack of logic, you're going to use then this discussion is over. lol.

Exactly!

If this bothered Jennings so much then why the hell didn't he go to Rodgers after the game and talk to him like a man? Rather than bottle it up for 6 years and venting your frustration later. This could've easy been taken care of in the locker room but Greg decided for some reason not to address it, thus Rodgers not being able to address it with him, since he has no idea that Greg had a issue with what he said in the first place. If anything this makes Greg not only shady and sensitive, but a coward. Even James Jones commented on this saying how he didn't understand why Greg didn't simply go up to Rodgers and talk to him, especially with how close they were at the time.

Then years later after you bad mouth Rodgers not only after you leave and go on a different team, (a divisional team no less) and go on the media and continue to bad mouth the guy, and you wonder why he doesn't want anything to do with you, when you try to reach out to him? Gimme a break! Jennings is no victim! If anything Rodgers is! Both he AND Jermichael broke the code of keeping things in house. And the more I hear from other teammates around the league, the worse and worse the two of them look.

I can understand why Jennings didn't talk to Rodgers about it after the game. In his mind, Rodgers had made a clear statement that he didn't value him as a teammate. If your girlfriend makes a clear statement that she doesn't value you as a boyfriend, is there anything to discuss? Not really, you can't make her value you, so your only real option is to move on. Nothing you say is going to change the situation.

I do agree Jennings shouldn't be still spouting off about this after all these years, he should have moved on and dropped it from his life. But Rodgers and Jennings are both rich, pampered athletes, and they both have their share of diva in them. As long as the Packers win, I don't really care.

By the way, Cowherd had the oddest take on the Packers draft today. He noted all the draft picks on the defensive side of the ball the last several years, and his take was "The excuses are over". He said that people have been blaming the defense for Rodgers not winning another Super Bowl, but because we have chosen all these high defensive draft picks, supposedly that means that excuse is not valid. What he's not taking into account is how many of those picks were misses, and how many of those players we have failed to develop. Just because we have a lot of defensive players that were drafted doesn't mean that our defense hasn't sucked.
But he does pick the Packers as division champs (at least at this point, the dude flip flops on a dime).

And my thing we all know Rodgers is a guy who likes to joke around. He even jokes on himself when he's on the field. If it bothered him so much why didn't he go to Rodgers at some point throughout the year? I highly doubt Rodgers didn't value him as a receiver and really meant all of that. I say that because the dude dogs himself and jokes about it.

I got a kick out of Colin today, yeah I get our defense has improved but at the end of the day, if the defense gives up a late score, or a lead, are we really going to pin this on Rodgers again? I feel like this is a pattern at this point.

Rodgers has said that he meant that comment as a joke, and I have to take him at his word. I can understand why Jennings was miffed about it though. I don't think I would have appreciated it.

Again I understand why Jennings was upset. What I DON'T understand is why didn't he talk to Arodg at some point throughout the year, especially with how good friends they were at the time. Even James Jones said doesn't understand why Greg didn't do that.

There are plenty of articles that says that about Rodgers, however, they also say that while Rodgers is “great” at dishing out, he is very “poor” at “receiving” ... - The problem is, as a leader, you should be able to take flack back, something Rodgers has shown, time and again he is not able to do ... If you cant do that, stop dishing out ...

The articles out there criticizing Rodgers are all fueled by either Jennings, Finley or even unnamed sources bashing him. There are more than enough former teammates that have defended Rodgers to make me believe that he's actually a decent leader.

Let me be clear about it that we don't have any idea about the atmosphere in the locker room. But closely watching the team last season I didn't get the impression there was any disconnect within the players.

I agree that sometimes he should give receivers, especially rookies, more of a break. With them being professionals they should be able to deal with the leader of the team expecting them to be mentally ready.

Rodgers comforting Crosby after the kickers's terrible game at Detroit showed great leadership. Maybe some of you should start looking for examples like that than listen to Jennings and Finley too much.

Funny considering how he never really retaliates when he's called out, be it media or former teammates. Isn't that a form of leadership in of itself? That is a flawed argument and you know it. You're free to pull up the articles if you'd like, but it's not like they a shred of proof, and it's typically something they heard without any confirmation, and their source are typically Jennings or Finley.

2012 story from 60 Minutes, that says basically everything we already know. Rodgers is a cognitive guy who felt like the piece 60 Minutes put out was edited to fit their agenda. My only disappointment in Rodgers over this would be to say "Come on Dude, you didn't think 60 Minutes would edit the content to give it the WOW factor that they wanted?"

That’s actually not it ... The entire interview was published ... non-edited ...

What it shows, is that when Rodgers isnt catered to, Rodgers behaves like a slighted child, ... and yes it is from 2016, yet it shows a pattern in Rodgers behaviour that you shouldnt ignore ... as most of you Kool-aid drinkers do, when it comes to Rodgers ...

Kool-aid drinkers huh? Coming from you that's both hilarious and typical especially considering how many people shredded your **** poor arguments to the point you can't even defend them. By that I mean you conveniently disappear. Don't deny that you haven't done it, because we all know that's a lie.

I'll humor you. Go ahead and tell us these patterns, since clearly Rodgers has been spoiled and clearly entitled.

This'll be good.

2016? Says 2012, so my apologies.

Still nothing new or mind blowing to me. This is beginning to feel like people are reaching for anything to try and justify things that aren't that damning to begin with.

My “**** poor” arguments ? - Please

My arguments havent been shredded, quite The contrary. You and others just continue to either ignore or deny/dismiss anything negative about Rodgers.

There have been countless of articles posted and quoted ad nauseam, yet you still ignore and/or deny Any argument that you dont agree with, let alone bother to even read those arguments and linked articles, or again just flat out dismiss them, solely because they dont fit into your naive dreamworld, in which Rodgers Can do no wrong and is never to blame for anything ... talk about being deluded ? LOL - please ...

What is a fact, however, is that Rodgers demeanor, onfield attitude and leadership has been questioned time and again ever since 2012 ... by numerous people, even in 2005 at The draft there were several rumours about those and speculations that it was also a Factor in why Rodgers slid so far Down ...

I do take your point about him comforting Crosby after his game from hell and it is admirable but if what Jennings is saying is true, I`d admire Rodgers more if he admitted what he is accused of and said "Yes I said it, and I deeply apologize for any offence it caused. It was a regrettable mistake" and lets put it to bed.
Just my two cents worth. Jennings might be ticking off fans attacking Rodgers, but having been accused of doing something years ago which hadn`t happened, I know I was bitter for years.

Yes and I can too.

As to articles, especially like that one saying Rodgers was ... For lack of better terms blackmailing his receivers against MM, sounds like another one of Tyler Dunne's propaganda circus operations.

The reason us fans have come to Rodgers aid is because after that stupid BR article came out, about 20 other current and former players took to Twitter and vehemently denied certain stories coming out of there.

There is a big problem in the national sports media when somehow the words of Jennings and Finley seem to be thought of as the gospel truth of Green Bay while other claims coming from other players refuting their statements get ignored.

I’ll say that was probably The only time I’ve Seen Rodgers do something like that ... Even if people dont agree with Jennings, they should consider what Driver Said about that ... and also how Rodgers behaves when Rodgers first arrived in GB ... Driver didnt say it directly, however, anyone who has seen or read that interview cant deny what Driver meant, though he was saying it like a true diplomat.

From most other players on a team it wouldnt matter, but as a supposed Leader that isnt an attitude or behaviour that Will command respect ...

Circling back to just Finley and Jennings from that article is limiting its scope. Dunne did acknowledge that a lot of the information also came from anonymous sources - either people with close ties currently to the organization or within it currently was the speculation. Dunne apparently took months to write that article - not just a couple interviews with Jermichael and Greg.

I still think that as he admitted saying it, even as a joke, Jennings isn`t lying and I`d be pissed if others were saying it hadn`t happened. I`m not saying Rodgers should be run out of town because of it but he could end this here and now and admit with hindsight it wasn`t the right thing to say about a fellow professional.

And I read it in its entirety and call it the worst piece of sports journalism I have ever seen. Nuggets of truth in there? Sure. But when you mix truth with your own speculation as I know Dunne did, it makes for a large pile of steaming BS.

Anyone can claim to have anonymous sources, and those sources could be the stray cats that go wandering through Lambeau Field's parking lot.
