I hope to get one of the Texas boys. Either Golden on O or Jahdae Barron on D.
Jah I’d almost bet my child will be gone. Golden almost as likely.

The Texas players I want and realistically may on Day 2 is Alfred Collins iDL and also Barryn Sorrell EDGE

Yeah well the issue at WR is there ain’t none in Day 1. Meaning It’s thin at the top. One thing I noticed in my interactive Mocks. If team needs are relatively correct in front of us, DL is bountiful in Day 2 into earlier Day3 as what you said happens, WR or CB heat up due to supply and demand issues.

Obviously these Mocks are often based on consensus rankings, however the consensus has been pretty close with a few modest exceptions, especially where it’s easier to predict in RD1-2

I’m saying this because I often get a group of DL who slide across our picks pretty good during Day 2. When I select at DL in Day 1, I almost always regret it because I’m passing on a good one in Day2.

This DL/Edge class is insane and the iDL especially is crazy good - team needs may not be there to some sites but there absolutely is going to be a lot gone in top 50.

Personally I see the following all gone by end of second round:

Graham, Grant, Alexander, Nolen, Harmon, Collins, Sanders, T Williams without question…and some are very high on Turner, Phillips and the TN kid that is escaping me at the moment.

Interesting in seeing Sorrell spanning from early 100’s to 170’s. Where are you thinking? RD4?
I’m more n more ok waiting on DE or DT into that Rd3-5 area if needed.

Sorrell has a third round grade for me personally
Gotcha.
Another player who I think we should hope makes our 3rd Round selection is Jordan Burch. He moved to Oregon recently and had a huge production spike. He’s not our answer inside, but he’s an explosive athlete who I think Hafley could get the best out of.

It seemed to me that he really wanted to play but just couldn't. If you can't make cuts because of the pain; you just can't do it. And I'm doubting that a doctor told him that if he had really bad pain just don't worry about it.
Yeah I never got the feeling that JA was ******* it last year. I think he, the trainers, and the doctors thought he could recover fro the knee injury. Did they let that play out too long? Maybe, but as long as everyone feels there is a chance for an injury to heal enough to play - well gotta take that route.

My biggest fear with JA is that in trying to stay healthy he will not be the player he has been in the past. I could see him making business decisions when it comes to tackling and defending the run. IMO.

Honestly, I think he has been doing that for a number of seasons now. It has been my #1 criticism of him, when he plays. He tends to take plays off if they are on the opposite side of the field from him.

He still would be the best we have imho. Yes, I'd like to see great tackling. But his main job is pass defender. If he doesn't like to get into the middle of a scrum; that's actually ok with me.
