I didn't realize that Love had the worst completion % of starting QB's.
The young group of receivers better clean up their routes and soon or this could be a long season and a tough learning curve for Love.
I remember seeing that. I guess we’ve had some pretty good excuses so far. The poor guy just hadn’t had ideal help. They talked about 3 WR with returning experience, but I’d argue we can exclude Toure with a minuscule 5 career receptions to start the year. I’d also argue Christian Watson because he’s been out or very limited.
We’ve had
1 WR with any meaningful past experience to date (Doubs). Now notice Love’s 62.5 completion % for his 1 known quantity. Very Normal range
Then we lose our starting LT and LG, which just exasperated an already somewhat volatile WR group.
As they said, time should be our best healer. Rodgers started with a much more experienced grouping and we can even see the improvement with him.
Aaron Rodgers
2008 63.6%
2009 64.7% (+1.1 increase)
2010 65.7% (+1.0)
2011 68.3% (+2.6)
You can see the natural progression there.
I think we can expect a 1-2% increase as the year transpires into that 58% + area and something similar with Jordan surpassing 60% next season.
