This game will be closer than people think I will go out on a limb and say this game is decided by a last second field goal by Carlson…

This Carlson. …. with Johnny Fever as his holder…Which Karlson?

Agreed. Bakh is done, IMO. It's unfortunate, but enough is enough. The guy is/was a great Packer, but the team has to move on.Instead of a Derrick Henry it may be time to acquire an O lineman instead.
Probably the one with the coach that will let him kick a field goal longer than 45 yards…Which Karlson?
34? I doubt it, but if we don't make mistakes we should win this one.The talent level of the Raiders, position by position, is nowhere close to GB's. Their studs are Jacobs, Adams, & Crosby. Their O &D lines aren't close to what the Packers have faced so far. If this isn't a "get right" game for the Packers I don't know if there is one. GB 34, LV 13.
Can’t go 3 and out the first 4 drives..34? I doubt it, but if we don't make mistakes we should win this one.
Offense will get GB 24 to 27, D will chip in some points on Raider's mistakes.34? I doubt it, but if we don't make mistakes we should win this one.
The Leap seems to be a fading "thing" ... except for opponents who score in Lambeau, but wouldn't dare do a Leap in their own stadium for fear of getting knifed or robbed. You must be logged in to see this image or video!">
I noticed they said we have beaten the Raiders in 8 straight going back to 1990. I just remembered that I had taped that 1990 game on the old VCR. It was in LA. What rings a bell is that we were underdogs. But our D and Majik pulled the upset. Chris Jacke kicked 5 FGs. I believe sadly that the following week Majik tore up his shoulder in AZ and Anthony Dilweg finished the season. We were in the hunt at the time but finished a dismal 6-10 losing our last 5 games. After ten days to lick their wounds and hopefully fix a few things the Packers go out to the Nevada desert to hopefully hit the bye week with a winning record. A spot not many put them at before camp opened.
With this team it is hard to predict anything in any quarter.Offense will get GB 24 to 27, D will chip in some points on Raider's mistakes.
MLF saw that the Lions smothered the Falcons run game and felt they would do the same to us. And since our 4th quarter come back against NO came through the air he thought " Let's keep it going. "Agree on Jones. Once the game started, I was certain he was still out. For some reason, MLF called a crazy high number of passes.
I don't think it would have changed the end result, but maybe they get 7 on that INT instead of 3. No matter. Hopefully he's now healthy and ready for the R8DRS. Gonna need him and the running game back to give Love a break here and there.
And off topic, but what is wrong with Dillon? Is it mostly the poor performance and injuries of the OL, or has Dillon just burned out. Kind of looks like the latter. He'll never be a guy with a lot of moves, but right now, he has none.
Especially with a young team. Yes, they will make mistakes but keep the game simple. As they mature you open the playbook. That end around back pass to Love comes to mind. Good deceptive play that could go for big yards. But not with a rookie RB who just snuck in to the 53 on 4th down near midfield. Not happy with the way the Packers have played, even in their victories. Too sloppy. Too many mistakes. I hope they start focusing on the details. Cut out 80% of the playbook and focus on 20%. Will be better team if they execute 20 plays at a high level than 100 plays marginally.
Mike Wahle, referenced above, thinks the Packers need more toughness. And I believe that is true. But I think play/role understanding would help in a big way.
The Raiders have plenty of issues, but I think the Packers can exploit the Raider defense. After being humiliated against the run, the Packers take a long look at it and makes some adjustments.
Packers 27 raiders 13.
Be nice to see Jones fed the ball at least 15 times minimum as well as 5 catches
Agreed. I'm excited to say this, but our RB room needs to be revamped. I thought it was solid going into the season and it is just not. Jones has barely played and Dillon has taken a huge step backwards. Then there is nothing behind them.Might as well. He's getting pretty long in the tooth for a RB. Get the best out of him while we can because RBs don't really decline. They usually fall off a cliff and at almost 29 years old, he's really on borrowed time already. Very few backs are game changers beyond 30.
I think Wilson will be very good. But he needs reps.Agreed. I'm excited to say this, but our RB room needs to be revamped. I thought it was solid going into the season and it is just not. Jones has barely played and Dillon has taken a huge step backwards. Then there is nothing behind them.
